cantmummyhaveabreak · 02/05/2011 16:43

Wuhoo ses!!! Your honk has topped off a very feel good day!

Just back from the celebrity footy match, was very impressed! Lost of soap stars, from hollyoaks warren fox, tony hutchinson, darren osborne, from corrie tyrone dobb's, Jason grimshaw & tommy duckworth (also played Justin in hollyoaks), from emmerdale Adam barton, aswell as Ralph little!!!

hotcrossSES · 02/05/2011 20:25

Thanks again everyone Grin
The worrying has started, especially as I had some red/pink spotting earlier but it was just that and no more so FX!

Cant - that sounds like my ideal day with a mix of football and slebs!

Diege - yes, how did you get on telling your parents?

Hello Rugby, tink, Star and anyone else around!

Starshinetiger · 02/05/2011 22:03

Am thinking implantation Ses? Hope you are able to relax a bit - are your PIL here yet, or have you managed to do all of this before their arrival, so hopefully you can have at least some emotions under control before they arrie (nosy emoticon)

hotcrossSES · 02/05/2011 22:06

Hopefully implantation. Been nothing more since.
PIL arrive Wednesday so hopefully will all be under control by then Grin and Hmm

Off to bed now and then back to work tomorrow!

GingerbreadGiraffe · 03/05/2011 07:50

morning all

Congratulations ses and so so happy for you Grin.

So sorry for being awol but have been so busy and still feeling really sick most of the time..

Had my 12 week scan and all looked ok, just waiting for blood test results now.

Can I come back to the waggon fold Wink can someone fill me in on any news.. me lazy never

hotcrossSES · 03/05/2011 13:39

Hello!

Bumps - great to hear from you. Sorry about sickness but glad scan all ok.
Not sure about a wagon update.... you've probably seen on FB that Gruff had her DS2 :) and that must be the big news on here!

tink - I did think of you about the implantation bleeding as I remembered you having that with DD2. Thank you as that was reassuring. I've not had anymore so hope all ok.

Giraffe - hello! Hope you enjoyed your BH weekends :)

Hope everyone else ok.

GingerbreadGiraffe · 03/05/2011 19:32

Hello

Ses- glad no more implantation bleeding. Are you planning to test again or just see how it goes?
Grin I am very excited for you. I had a feeling about this month for you, not sure why... maybe something about May-it being your O's bday and last May being your month to start TTC originally... I hope that doesnt sound odd!

Welcome back Bumps- glad to here the scan was good. Are you going to find out if its boy/girl? How is your DP with the news now?

Not much to report here really- As Ses said- the new gruff cub arrival is the big highlight, plus Cant giving birth to her surrogate baby. :)

There is CP at the SG nursery in a big way. All of SG's key worker group are out with it. She was ill a couple of weeks back with all the symtoms except the spots - nothing happened. So we will see this week- its like a timebomb!
Please keep everything crossed that she doesnt come out with it before end of the week as I have a parent presentation to do at work about working mothers :)

bye for now

GingerbreadGiraffe · 03/05/2011 19:33

I meant to say hi everyone else! tink and star :)

Diege · 03/05/2011 19:44

Fingers crossed for you GING! That would be ironic if you had to miss a presentation in working mothers due to SG being ill. Could dh take the time off?
Hi BUMPS, had been wondering where you'd got to Grin
SES if the spotting/bleeding has stopped I'd say all is well and don't worry - sounds like textbook implantation bleed to me.
Well telling of the parents went ok - was a genuis idea getting dds to tell them Grin. They were shocked but pleased, so the best reaction I could hope for really. Have to break the news to work tomorrow, and have decided to wimp out and do it by e-mail as I'm working from home. They would see the bump on Thursday anyway, so am just making it easy for them!
Hello to everyone I haven't mentioned Smile

GingerbreadGiraffe · 03/05/2011 20:17

Hi Diege
glad parents telling went ok. I love the DC telling them idea! How is your bump? So exciting to have one already! Any pics? :)

Good luck with work anyway- I felt like a naughty school girl telling them before the SG!

Grin I hadnt thought of the irony of that.... I hope DH could cover... I'd hate to miss it - months of planning have gone into this. I've got external speakers and everything!

tinkbig · 03/05/2011 20:51

Evening

Ordered an exercise dvd was mentioned on weight loss
Thread
By gillian something hv forgotten the name of it!
Bumps great news on scan
Hi ginger

Moosy · 03/05/2011 21:10

Hooray Ses!!! :o So happy for you!

I had implantation bleed with DD3, quite a lot but very shortlived - only a couple of hours I think. Really really hope this one stays put for you :)

Diege - I did the same thing - my parents were coming round so I primed the children then busied myself with the washing. I heard "Granny, Mummy's got a baby in her tummyyyyyyyyyyy!" Mum: "What? WHY? WHY?!"

Good to hear from you too Bumps, and I haven't forgotten about the moses basket, I just haven't got round to it yet Blush

GruffaloSoldier · 03/05/2011 23:54

Congratulations SES! so happy for you. I am sending you lots of sticky vibes too and keeping everything crossed!

Im sorry to post and run, but I am off to bed!

hotcrossSES · 04/05/2011 08:57

Thanks Moosy and Gruff :)

Gruff - hope all still going well with you and your boys!

Giraffe - hope SG steers clear of the pox!

Just a quick post before heading off to Jo Jingles. I did a second test this morning and the "pregnant" line came up before the control line!

tinkbig · 04/05/2011 09:16

:) ses

dvd is called 30 day shred

Diege · 04/05/2011 10:09

Excellent SES - sounds like baby was just burying down nice and deeply!
TINKS, that Shred dvd is supposed to be excellent!
I've turned a corner sickness wise I think. Have reduced cyclizine down to one a day, and am even contemplating returning to the gym. Have just received a maternity tankini from Topshop, so may give it a go!
Hope everyone is well Smile

GingerbreadGiraffe · 04/05/2011 11:31

Ses- hooray for fast line!

Diege- great news on sickness.... I am now TOTALLY in awe of you- you have a job, a pregnancy and getting to gym... where do you have time

Hi Tink

Hi Moosy- great to see you. was thinking of you the other day and those lovely cakes you made for the picnic in the park! :)

Diege · 04/05/2011 11:39

Hee hee GING, I go in my lunchtime at work (plus a sneeky Sunday monring visit) Grin

Diege · 04/05/2011 11:43

Hey, maybe we could do another meet-up again soon? Anyone else up for it?

Diege · 04/05/2011 11:44

Oh and Topshop maternity jeans have arrived. They are ok, but quite loose on the legs (for now..). I'll keep them but hmm may have to check out a few other pairs too Wink

GingerbreadGiraffe · 04/05/2011 13:18

Im so impressed Diege! :) lunchtime is good plan if you have gym nearby. We have one near here but they £95 a month - thats on the corporate plan. Biscuit to that.... not that I'd have time to go but still!

Jeans sound good :) what is your favourite style to date?

Moosy · 04/05/2011 14:32

I was only thinking the other day that maybe we're due another big meetup - maybe another July London one like last year? We've got plenty of new bumps and babies between us (not me!) to show off, and I think Fizzy and Owen would love to be reunited!
