Diege - great news about the scan and the clothes shopping :)

Ginger - there's 3.5 yrs between me and my older brother and then 6.5 yrs between me and my younger brother. Both age gaps work well :)

Cant - really hope the bleeding calms down for you.

Hope everyone has a great weekend :)

GruffaloSoldier · 28/04/2011 21:20

Hello wagoners!

Sorry I have been AWOL for a week! Yes DS2 came into the world last week via elective c section and 1 week on we are all doing wonderfully!:)

GC has taken to his little brother really well, and sings to him "hush little baby" whenever he cries and is just generally being adorable with him!

I am breastfeeding, and although the first couple of days were tough we both seem to have got the hang of it now and doing really well.

He is also sleeping really well at night so Im quite happy with that, we are all just very chilled out and it seems to be working out well. However, I am more than ready for everything to go a bit pear shaped. It is just great that I have been able to sleep so much, as it has meant I have been able to recover much better!

DH is at home for just under two weeks now as he just had the two weeks easter hol, so his paternity leave started on Tuesday, which is great.

The elective was ok, there wasn't any major complications and it all went very quickly. I had him Thursday and then I was out by Saturday and was so glad to get home to GC.

Anyway. Both boys are in bed so I am going to go and chill out and enjoy some me time but will be back on soon! :)

Gruff- so glad to hear all is well! :)

Diege- good news on scan, we stayed 5days ahead with surrogate pregnancy, made no difference. :)

Girraffe- its amazing how fast you feel up to a gof with no baby keeping you up all night! As soon as I stopped bleeding I was back in the sack... Grin maybe about 8 days after, was between the initial bleeding and my bleeds that came and went! Tho I'm quite lucky to still have a very high libido anyway... Even after nearly 9 years together!

Starshinetiger · 28/04/2011 21:40

Congrats again Gruff - glad you're having such a good start, sounds lovely with GC too!

Glad scan went well Diege.

Just a quick check-in to see how scan went. About to have first bit of quality time with DH in a good few days on our own - will check in again soon :)

tinkbig · 29/04/2011 15:49

afternoon

gruff - all sounds great congrats he is very handsome and sounds like a very good boy

hi everyone els

enjoyed watching the royal wedding @ home on the tv made flags for the girlsand hats had a nice picnic with cake

cantmummyhaveabreak · 29/04/2011 19:51

Seems I may have got a little too tipsy last night, going on about bedroom antics! [cblush]

Decided to make the most of a nice day with DH off and took the kids to a farm this morning... Only to come home, see the end of the wedding coverage and regret not watching... Was sick of all the hype around the wedding... Then found myself blubbing away to the highlights!

Got some pizza express dough balls from tesco for with our tea, shared them between us all... Now wish I'd been greedy and saved them till the kids were in bed as they are amazing... Not had them in too long!

tinkbig · 29/04/2011 20:58

Evening can't
Farm sounds gd
Those dough balls r delicidious

Diege · 30/04/2011 09:37

Morning! Agree TINK, those dough ball are the best! Sounds like you had a great day yesterday CANT. I watched bits of the wedding (begrudgingly - I'm not a Royalist but dd3 is a wedding obsessive). Liked the dress but thought it was a bit odd in the nipple area..
GING, I had 6 pairs of maternity jeans, but sold them all on e-bay (it being my last baby..). I am going to have to start again!
Off to see Dancing on Ice today, lunch at Wagamamas then afternoon 2.30 performance. Should be great; just hoping the sickness behaves itself today!
Hope everyone elnjoys the BH weekend - last one for a while!

tinkbig · 30/04/2011 21:11

hotcrossSES · 01/05/2011 07:42

Morning all!

Diege - hope you had a fab day yesterday.
Scary though that you need to start again with your wardrobe of maternity jeans! Someone had better warn the retailers that demand is about to go up Grin

tink - Sounds like you had a good time yesterday with your PILs. I know you don't always find them easy so good to hear it went well :)

Cant - Grin at your Blush at bedroom antics! Good for you girl!!

Star - hello! Hope you enjoyed some nice time with DH

Gruff - sounds like you are all doing amazingly well - so pleased for you :)

I am now 12dpo and temps still high but this has happened the last couple of months only for a dramatic drop around 14dpo so I refuse to test yet!
Chart here

Diege · 01/05/2011 10:43

Wow SES, that chart is textbook pregnancy - certainly no problem with your progresterone levels whatever might happen. Have everything crossed for you!
Dancing on ice was great TINKS - Hayley (last year's champ) won the competition they have - think Sam was a bit Envy as she was miles better than him. Laura very disappointing, and surprisingly perhaps, Denise was great - very elegant and with really good footwork.
Telling the Dps today about no.5...judging by MILs reaction (oh no how will you manage!!!) this may be a difficult process, and I have wimped out by telling dds to announch it the minute they arrive Grin
Hope everyone is enjoying the sun!
Diege x

cantmummyhaveabreak · 01/05/2011 19:36

Diege- strangely were in kinda the opposite boat with family asking when were having no4. Hope it goes well... MIL's reaction is just as DH's dad & stepmum was with dc2! So I doubt we'll be in a hurry tell them if we have dc4... They dont even know I was a surrogate tho, we see them so little that it doesn't bother us that they dont know!

Ses- wouldn't know where to start on a chart so not looked, but I've got everything crossed for you! I cant understand how your keeping it together really, I was s true wreck when ttc, only did that part for dd2 and surrogacy and only took 3 m with dd2 and 1st try with surrogacy... I'd not be as calm as you seem. :)

Off to watch a charity football match tomorrow! Very excited to see a team of celebrity hotties running round! Will be taking my camera for lots of super close-ups!

hotcrossSES · 01/05/2011 20:14

Diege - hope it went ok with your parents. Thanks for your comments on my chart. It does kind of look text book and I vaguely have sore boobs. Only thing is I had sore boobs last month and temp didn't take a dive until 14dpo! I'll wait and see what tomorrow's temp brings...
Glad you enjoyed DOI. I have an old school friend that does wardrobe for some of the tv shows and some of the tour. Not in touch with her well enough to know if she's doing it at the moment.

Cant - thanks for your kind words too. It would be very easy to be going a bit nuts but that just won't help the situation! DS distracts me quite well too!

Only a week tomorrow until DS's birthday :) We have a huge weekend planned - Jo Jingles party on the Saturday, BBQ for about 30 on the Sunday. Hoping for fine weather! PIL arrive on Wednesday for 6 days and SIL joins them for about 3 days in the middle. I have the following week off work and I think I'll need it!
Just typical though that PIL will arrive probably on day AF arrives Hmm Or I guess it could be a BFP but not sure I'd want to let on if it was! Either way, I'm bound to be an emotional wreck Grin

Rugbylovingmum · 02/05/2011 13:18

HOORAY SES GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

now get back here and give us more details!

Starshinetiger · 02/05/2011 13:32

Yay! Congratulations Grin - now where are you lady? We need details! Being busy with PILs is a very poor excuse if you ask me Wink Grin

Starshinetiger · 02/05/2011 13:34

How did telling your parents go yesterday btw Diege?

hotcrossSES · 02/05/2011 14:00

Hello!!! Just checking back in after my early morning post Grin

I just decided this morning that my temp was still on the high side, I'd had no spotting or pre-AF cramps so did a test and a faint but definite line came up within about 90secs!

I think EDD is around 10th Jan :)

Obviously apprehensive as my success rate from BFPs is 1 out of 3 but a BFP is a BFP and a very good start :)

Starshinetiger · 02/05/2011 14:03

Yay Ses!!!! So very (cautiously) excited for you GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Shall keep everything crossed!

hotcrossSES · 02/05/2011 14:08

Thanks Star :)
