Gruff good luck exciting
Hi ses chart looking gd
Hi can't it does get hectic in hols

Quiet day in with girls today

Diege · 21/04/2011 13:08

Hello! Wow, Gruff will have had her baby by now!! Can't wait to hear your news x
Cant I totally understad your broodiness, but then I suppose with no.5 (hopefully) on its way, I would do! I'm just relieved that I started having children at 31 as age will limit me now anyway (not that I'm hinting at no.6 you understand Grin). 4 is great, plus as you're so young your situation may well change in terms of work etc over the next 10 years.
Ses I'd say you pretty much got that egg covered from your chart. Don't think I'd even bother goffing now that ovulation has occured!. Looking back at my chart this pregnancy (and the mc one) it was the day I ovulation that was key for me (0nly mamanged it on this day this time as dh away leading up to and after ov). Fingers crossed for you x
Hi TINKS! Sounds like you've had a nice few days with your mum etc. Agree, v.tough when they are off school, though have been in work for last 2 weeks (when mine have been off) so it hasn;t been that tough for me Wink
Feeling better sickness-wise here, though every time I see to say that I have a very bad day the next. Technically 11+1 today, though scan last week put me 5 days later. Just willing my way to 12 weeks. A bit worried that the bleeding might back around time my next period would have been due (any tme now really). Not that bleeding would throw me into a panic this time, more because being Rh neg I would need to have anti-D at the hosp on the same day. Dating scan next week (thurs) and getting nervous!

tinkloveseastereggs · 21/04/2011 21:20

Morning all

Sorry I have been AWOL. Been so busy at work.

Diege- I also cant believe how fast your early weeks have gone. fingers crossed the sickness is on its way out!

Tink- glad you had a good easter w/e.

Anyone on FB will see that Gruff does indeed have a new cub in the gruffalo pack. Im sure she will be on soon to share her news!

Not sure my job oppotunity abroad will come off now. Bit sad about it really, had got my head in the right place for moving and waiting to TTC.

Big waves to everyone!

Giraffe x

Rugbylovingmum · 26/04/2011 09:33

Morning all,

had a fab holiday weekend Grin but back to earth with a bump this morning - rubbish weather, back to work, C crying when I left her at nursery . Roll on Friday and another great weekend Grin.

Gruff - congratulations Grin, pics on fb are gorgeous!

Giraffe - sorry the job opportunity might not come off, when will you find out for sure?

Tink - thanks for hacking through all the tumbleweed for us Smile. Glad you had a good weekend.

Diege - Dancing on Ice sounds like fun. I hope the nausea is wearing off now, these first weeks are flying past (although it probably doesn't seem that way to you Wink). Have your older DC guessed there is something up yet?

Diege · 26/04/2011 09:45

Morning! Good to hear everyone is well and enjoying the BHs. Dds back at school here, until Fri, and have taken annual leave myself for today and wednesday.
GINGER, that's disappointing about the job. Don't give up hope just yet; those sorts of things are often on-off so your disappointment may be premature.
RUGBY, yes, we struggled this morning too. Not long till Friday though!
Sickness not great - very cross as it seems to have got a lot worse these last few days after seemingly getting better. Arse of a GP has only given me 5 days worth of tablet for my repeat, so have needed to reorder straight away to stand a chance of getting them in time for when needed!
Anyway, not all bad. Off work, have scan on thurs, - just need sun to come back out again!

tinkloveseastereggs · 26/04/2011 21:24

Hi ginger shame about job!
Hi rugby glad u have had a gd easter
Hi diege sorry sickness bad again , not long till
Scan exciting
Had a gd day with mum today

cantmummyhaveabreak · 27/04/2011 12:33

afternoon (just)...

Diege- sorry to hear of sickness getting worse again, do you have any sickness bands? they did help a little for me if i wore them constantly... they may help ease it a little more... i can only sympathise with you on the sickness, but as you know as soon as you stop being so sick you feel better instantly, and within a few days you'll forget you ever felt so bad... just keep hoping for it to ease... your normally luckier than me as yours eases earlier, i've had it all the way thru once and till 22wks twice!! And stupidly i've forgotten just how bad it is and already desperate to be pg!!

Tink- your easter sounds like it was lots of fun!!

Ginger- sorry to hear the job abroad may not be a go-er, but as Diege says these things can be on/off...

Rugby- nice to hear you had a nice trip away. :)

Gruff- if your lurking- massive congrats, he's a big lad, but he's so gorgeous!! Makes me even more broody!!

Hello to anyone else lurking...

I'm having a bad first period- i'm literally pouring with blood... been 4 days and i'm using both a 'super plus' tampon and a nightime towel and am having to change both every hour- i'm actually scared to leave the house... thought it's calmed down as i had very little all night, braved a trip out this morning and started leaking when we were a 20min walk from home, no toilets between there and home... got home and it'd soaked me, lucky i was wearing black leggings or i'd have looked a mess!! Gonna speak to GP at my 6wk check next week... i've always had heavy periods but this just takes the [cbiscuit]

Also feeling very silly- decided that i'd be best not being out of the house too long, so phoned the school to say i couldn't make the Board of governers meeting later today... only to find it's next weds!! How silly- had got DH to finish work early, had changed plans to tomorrow with a friend to avoid it clashing too!! I feel very stupid!!

Right- best dash- need a nap- not sleeping well with stupid period so getting all the rest possible!!

Diege · 27/04/2011 12:52

Ah CANT don't feel stupid about the meeting mix up - we've all done things like that! I remember turning up at a bowling place with dds in party stuff and with present, insistent that the party we had come for was on that day. Turns out I was a whole month out Blush. On period front, I think super heavy can be normal post-partum, but wouldn't do any harm to get it checked out. Are you having lots of pains too?
Sickness no worse today - so slightly worse than this time last week, and also have the horrible spitting thing I've had in all my pregnancies. It does have a special name, and is basically where your mouth fills constantly with saliva (getting worse when a vomit is due). Totally gross! Sickness does tend to have stopped for me by 16 weeks or so, albeit with morning retching until about 20 weeks, so not forever by any means. Scan tomorrow - super nervous but I know it has to be got through - just wish it wasn;t 3.30 pm - torture!
TINKS glad you enjoyed your day with your mum - you are lucky to see her so often.
Love to all x

tinkbig · 27/04/2011 17:24

oh cant heavy periods mean!!!!!

hi diege - good luck for tom [cgrin]
shame so late exciting

had a good day today

so glad school back so much more peaceful with just 1 child @ home

cantmummyhaveabreak · 27/04/2011 19:10

Not having any pains diege. All fine on that front, just seriously heavy... Have been thru over 60 super plus tampons and the same towels too! Rediculous!

DH finishing early isn't all that bad, we went for a pub lunch for tea after getting the kids, have eaten way too many chocolate profiteroles, and about to crack open a bottle if wine now- be rude not to after such a nice evening!

hotcrossSES · 27/04/2011 22:34

Hello all!

Sorry for being AWOL too! Just had a very busy (but good!) Easter :)

Cant - sorry for heavy AF. Sounds horrendous :( Diege is right though, that the first one post partum is often very heavy. As long as you've not got any other symptoms (such as fever or discharge smelling - sorry TMI!) then all should be ok. Take care and I hope it eases soon for you.

Gruff - if you're lurking, huge congrats again. Your FB photos are wonderful :)

Diege - as you know, I have a fear of scans so I can empathise with your feelings about tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you but I'm sure all will be fine.

Ginger - sorry it looks like the job opportunity is off the cards. How likely that something else would come up?

Hello Rugby & tink - sounds like you both had great Easter weekends :)

I'm now in 2ww. FF put my ov day back a day so only SWI was the day before ov and the day before that. Chart here
It also works out that I'll be in the middle of the emotional wreckage of the end of my cycle as my PILs arrive to stay next week Hmm

tinkbig · 28/04/2011 09:51

hi cant - glad u dont have any pains
diege - good luck for scan Grin
ses - chart looks good

Rugbylovingmum · 28/04/2011 10:04

Hi all, just popping on to wish Diege good luck for today.

Back later x.

GingerbreadGiraffe · 28/04/2011 11:43

Me too- all the best Diege

Cant- sorry for heavy bleeding. I've never had anyhting like that, it must be terrible. You are super cool though just dealing with it :)

Ses- fingers crossed for your 2ww. Maybe having PIL will be good distraction for you towards end of the 2ww... will be sending lots of vibes for success in your direction anyway :)

Thanks for nice comments about the role. We are kind of settled on not going, after me spending coming around to the idea. Although we can still change those plans. Dont think we would ttc #2 until sept at earliest so still time to defer.! Anyone got experince of 3.5yr age gap? (assuming we are able to succeed!)

Hi Rugby and Tink.

Diege · 28/04/2011 11:52

Hello. Many thanks for the good scan wishes; will post when I get back (scan at 3.30, though they run very late).
GIRAFFE, I have just over a 3 year gap between dd and 3 and it's been great - jealousies/rivalries, and enough time to get your energy back/forget how shattering the baby stage is!
CANT, how are things today? I'd say monitor things next month, but if still as heavy def seek advice. Of course the only other solution would be the get pregnant
SES it helps to know I not the only one who doesn't look forward to scans! I have been awake since 4.30am worrying, so can't wait till it's over and done with. YOur chart looks really really good btw!
Hi RUGBY, TINKS xx
Back later x

tinkbig · 28/04/2011 15:56

yes ginger mine have a 3.5 year age gap Grin

dd1 is 5.5 years dd2 is 2 years
age gap pretty good i would say Grin
they r just starting to play nicely together 2 a good age gap 2 have i would say

cantmummyhaveabreak · 28/04/2011 16:45

Ginger- we have a 2y10m gap between the dd's and they're great together, dd1 is such a mother to dd2!

Diege- in all honesty I would love to get pregnant asap... But we cant start saving for a bigger car till after our holiday in august, then its xmas shortly after that... So wont have a bigger car til at least next summer really... And I really want to be driving before having another... And on top of all that I'm still working my magic on DH and the idea of dc4!

Period all but stopped after my 'they're while out yesterday, drank half a bottle of wine and felt a bit frisby so had a gof, wish we'd kept the lights on as I had another massive gush, making such a mess! :( then had nothing since, till I did some wii fit earlier and had another massive gush. :( not good!

tinkbig · 28/04/2011 17:34

poor u cant

Diege · 28/04/2011 19:32

Back from scan and all well Grin. Baby measuring fine, still 5 days head so they've brought my due date forward to 4th November. Soooo relieved, and have celebrated by having a bit of a splurge on maternity stuff from H&M. Pretty awful range, but got a few good bits including jeans (anyone remember my obsession with maternity jeans? Wink)
Have also told the dds just now and they are super happy and excited, wanting to take the scan pictures in to show and tell at school Hmm. I suppose that will be one way of spreading the word!

GingerbreadGiraffe · 28/04/2011 19:55

HI Diege - I've been thinking of you this afternoon. So pleased all is well for you. I do recall your maternity jeans fetish- how many pairs do you have now ? or did you get rid of the last few pairs?

Cant- sorry for the gushs-might be worth getting it checked if it keeps happening. Im impressed at the GOFing so soon post partum!

Thanks for comments on age gaps Tink, Diege and Cant! :)

So pleased its another long w/e. I'd love to work 3 days a week!!

tinkbig · 28/04/2011 20:26

Hi diege great news and yah for clothes
