Am I the first? I can't see another November thread.

Ok, my stats, I am 32, have 1 dd (2.1) and edd is 03/11/2011.

I had a mc at Christmas but feel ok about this pregnancy, though I only found out 3 days ago so I may get a bit more panicked as time passes.

Anyone else want to join me in a November baby thread?

bumpsnow it was 26th of january, so i think that makes it my 7th week on wednesday! just not sure because of what doc said, then again iv only been once and he was a new doctor fo me (just registered the day of my appointment)iv decided im going back on wed tho, so get the ball rolling from then with bloods, mw ect:)

is it too early to be getting excited? As times getting on it should be a good sign no? Hmmxx

Woodifer · 14/03/2011 13:51

3rdtime i'm only 5 weeks or so, sometimes it is worrying to not have more symptoms!!

but i have ballistic feeling boobs and rollercoaster moods so fingers crossed to make it to 12 weeks.

oh with "weeks pregnant" there might be a difference between counting from day of last period (usual uk doctors version of weeks) or weeks from conception (obviously gives less weeks)

bumpsnowjustplump · 14/03/2011 14:01

3rd I think your EDD is the 2nd of November is that what you have? All hcp go from first day of last period and work on a 28 day cycle to give you a EDD. Your scan at 12 or 20 weeks (we dont get a 12 week scan just a 20 week one) will give a EDD based on babies size.

3rdTimeLucky2000 · 14/03/2011 14:10

i hate the symptoms!! i only realised on this thread that having symptoms is a good sign (seems obvious now) so hate having the symptoms, but love haveing them at the same time... im just getting really angry with myself, i wish i could do all sporty thing like you but just not happening! im thinkin of joining a yoga class tho, so at least thats something! (not much but better than nothing) :)

i started crying alot from last week! iv cried 5 times so far today! its all these images of the tsunami and earthquakes!Sad everything gets to me!(obviously still would be devasted for those poor people anyway!!) are you kind of the same then? xx

cep · 14/03/2011 14:11

hi all.

chip lol how old is ds4? was it a good impression?

3rd sounds like your dr got a bit confused.

bumpsnow hope you find some time to relax.

terrys good luck for tomorrow.

well i haven't had any pink so far today but symptoms seem to be fading, don't feel very sick today and have had no aches in my stomach so far. hopefully it's a calm before the symptom storm.

3rdTimeLucky2000 · 14/03/2011 14:15

thanks bumpsnow i got the 3rd nov, but il def take the second if poss :) i just feel a bit stupid on the thread tbh, i seem to be full of questions for everyone but no answers Blush and i spend most of my time googling all the abbreiviations so i know what we are talking about!Confused xx

3rdTimeLucky2000 · 14/03/2011 14:17

hi cep glad no more pink today! got fingers and toes crossed for you! yeah i think so! maybe i was speaking too fast or something?! xx

cep · 14/03/2011 14:28

3rd don't feel stupid everyone has to learn the stuff when they start on here. and don't worry about the questions, all i do is stress. Grin

Woodifer · 14/03/2011 14:29

3rdtime - i've been alternating between ecstatic bliss and weeping at the news - lalalala aren't hormones great.

re sporty things - you just have to go with what your body's up for - if you need to rest you need to rest, if you need to eat half a block of cheese you need to eat half a block of cheese (that's what i'm telling myself anyway Blush). If you can go to yoga where you don't have to sign up for a full course or something, it's prob better than feeling like you "have to" go to yoga cos you've signed up/paid even though you don't feel like it that particular time.

pod3030 · 14/03/2011 14:30

hi lovelies! can i join too? very early days but i am due 18.11.11. it's my first, i'm 38. not much in the way of symptoms except hurty bosoms and very pointy nips! will read through and have a catch-up just wanted to mark my place! Smile

3rdTimeLucky2000 · 14/03/2011 14:42

Thankyou your all very nice, i was a bit worried i was starting to wind uz all up! glad that im not tho! :)

i just worry about the whole exercise thing! i know that its better for your baby if you eat all the right things and do exercise, but i just dont feel able to atm! im living now off potatoes and bannans (altho thatl prob change again in couple days) and doing nxt to no exercise! sob :( sorry just think i might be having a bad day! feeling a horribly selfish! xx your all so nice xx

cep · 14/03/2011 14:43

welcome pod and congratulations.

have we seen sibella around lately, can't remember seeing a post from her, hope you're ok.

dirge are you ok? haven't seen you since sat.

3rdTimeLucky2000 · 14/03/2011 14:43

again, selfish me... Welcome pod3030 congratulations :) :) :) xx

cep · 14/03/2011 14:47

pod i've put you on our stats thread. Smile

3rd i'm barely having anything healthy, and don't do exercise so don't worry especially not at this stage when you're so tired anyway.

pod3030 · 14/03/2011 14:58

thanks cep Smile
re-exercise- i am a regular runner so am still doing that. Listen to your body is the best advice i've been given.if you're used to a certain level of fitness then carry on as normal, but don't suddenly start a hard routine if it's new to you. x
thankyou for the welcome, it's so nice to be alongside other november-ists!Grin soooooooooooooooooo excited.

3rdTimeLucky2000 · 14/03/2011 15:12

:) thanks cep, pod and everyone else! you are very wise women and i shall take all your advice! :o

im going to have a bit of a tidy up now (tidy house, tidy mind) and seeing as that will take me a good hour, i will be saying goodbye to you lovly ladies for now but will no doubt be back on later on for a whine catch up! :) i hope you all have a lovly afternoon xx

rightontime · 14/03/2011 15:40

Welcome and congrats pod

3rd Tidying and house counts as exercise Wink

I am not very active. I walk to the school and back and occasionally do the wii fit. Am hoping to start 'fit 2 be mum' classes at the local sports centre but as I work there it would be a giant advert to all my colleagues lol.

Worst symptom so far has appeared today. I have a rash on my face around my eyes. I got it last time to. It is just like little red dots that unless you look closely they look like spots and that I have really bad skin. Never mind.

Fell asleep this afternoon when DS2 had his nap. Lucky the postman came when he did (at 2.45pm, Imust have the latest postie ever) otherwise I would have been late for the school pick up. Blush Can't believe how much difference 24hours makes.

Cep Hoping that your symptoms pick up. Mine are worse some day than other so FX for you.

DirgeInVegas · 14/03/2011 15:42

3rd you generally can't join in your first trimester

This thread has sped on since I last checked in so apologies for not addressing most of the posts.

I feel dreadful, absolutely exhausted, can't concentrate, nauseous, I feel hungry but have food aversions.

Terrys good luck for tomorrow! Will be looking out for you tomorrow. What time is your scan?

OP posts:
DirgeInVegas · 14/03/2011 15:47

Cep sorry xposts because I am so slow at typing and mt brother is distracting me with talk of winning the Euromillions!

Glad to hear your bleeding has stopped.

I didn't get to post over the weekend. I was sofa-bound for most of it and DH has broken the laptop so posting from my phone was too much like hard work Smile.

bumpsnowjustplump · 14/03/2011 16:15

I am eating junk all day long and sitting on my fat bottom when not working.. I put on 5 stone with both my children and both are fine. I always crave the wrong foods, this time it is anything salty so crisps are my staple diet at the moment along with chips and white bread, which is a reason I take pregnacare to ensure my peanut gets some goodness.

DirgeInVegas · 14/03/2011 16:24

Me too bump, I can't eat healthily in the first trimester. I need salty carbs too. With DD I found that salt & vinegar crisps made me feel better and also porridge (not that unhealthy actually). I also drank a pint of milk a day from the MS stage until I gave birth.

This time I am all about salty foods, orange juice and cheese. Oh and carbs - noodles, pasta, rice, mashed potato.

Uh...I feel hungry and crap at the same time.

OP posts:
DirgeInVegas · 14/03/2011 16:25

I weighed 7.5 stone by the time I was 10 weeks pg with DD because food aversions had made eating too difficult.

I might weigh myself this time....

Can I join you lovely ladies? I got my BFP yesterday after a miscarriage a month ago, so I think I'm probably due around the middle of November (16th?)

I'm feeling mostly nervous as well as a bit sick. Otherwise no real symptoms. I had a glass of wine on Friday and immediately puked. My body was like "no wine for me, can't you see I'm pregnant?!" Clever body, so not like me!

rightontime · 14/03/2011 16:29

Congrats Lizzy. welcome to the bus.

suziechan · 14/03/2011 16:41

Congratulations Lizzy!!!

(I had the same reaction to a much-wanted glass of red a few weeks ago too...!)
