Am I the first? I can't see another November thread.

Ok, my stats, I am 32, have 1 dd (2.1) and edd is 03/11/2011.

I had a mc at Christmas but feel ok about this pregnancy, though I only found out 3 days ago so I may get a bit more panicked as time passes.

Anyone else want to join me in a November baby thread?

chipmonkey · 13/03/2011 22:24

HAve added you to the list, suzie!

chipmonkey · 13/03/2011 22:27

Sorry, meant to say, welcome Pipsbump! I think those who have had MC's before are understandably nervous. But if you think of it, you are more likely to have a successful pregnancy than a MC so no harm in getting a little excited. I think it's nice to have people to discuss symptoms and scans with.Smile

SnoozleDoozle · 13/03/2011 22:42

oooh, I'm similar in that I haven't had severe symptoms this time round. With DD I was nauseous constantly, came out in terrible acne, could smell weird things, sore boobs, knackered, and cried at the drop of a hat. And I had 6 negative tests before I finally had a positive one, even though I knew(that one wasn't planned, as you've probably guessed!).

This time, mildly sore boobs, mild nausea, mild acne, mild everything. Except the knackered bit, I'm totally shattered. But I think its the mildness of all the other symptoms that is making me doubt myself! But, as I said in earlier post, I just know, same as I knew last time, despite all the tests saying otherwise!

chipmonkey · 13/03/2011 23:10

All four of my previous pregnancies were different in terms of symptoms. Ds2 was my easiest and I have to say, he has also been my easiest child, never gives me any trouble!

Ds3 was an awful pregnancy, hyperemesis, bleeding, placenta praevia, emergency section at 32 weeks and he is the feistiest! But very cute!Smile

chipmonkey · 13/03/2011 23:13

I went to try on dresses today, and my boobs are HUGE! I was trying to find a dress that I didn't look pregnant in as I have told no-one except dh and SIL and the assistant brought me in this floaty thing but it was so low-cut, that it was like Little House in the Prairie meets The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. They were like melons! I knew my coat was getting tight across the chest!

rightontime · 14/03/2011 07:40

welcome to snoozle and pip

I had a very very faint line with an ebay cheapy. I was about to throw it in the bin thinking it was negative when the faint line caught my eye. I didn't show that test to DH but did another test the next day that was also faint but a little more visable. DH barely looked and said, no, no second line. so I did a CBdigi which was preg 2-3. I took another ebay cheapy a couple of days ago and the test line was darker than the control line so I would say that yes a faint line is a line regardless of the fact you can hardly see it.

Chip At least it is coming into summer so you wont have to wear your coat much longer. Although I am sure you will need a new on before november. lol

I am hoping my sister will have a BFP and we can be pregnant together so fingers crossed. It is very unfair though cos me and DH literally DTD once. I checked my CM for ovulation had sex once and only once and was pregnant. Great for me but frustrating for those that find it harder. sorry.

cep · 14/03/2011 08:08

morning all, hope you're all ok. Welcome newbies and congratulations.

i had a bit more pink last night, but am still going to wait till monday i can't face a scan this week. If i get loads more then i may rethink this decision but for now i think i'll just paper check all the time.

Loup23 · 14/03/2011 08:35

Congrats and welcome newbies! Hope everyone had good weekends.

By my calculations I was six weeks yesterday and last night had dark brown when I wiped (sorry, tmi), no cramping or pain so I'm not really sure if I should be concerned or not. This is #1 for us so no idea what is normal.... Don't really want to see the dr as I'm sure she'll either tell me it's a m/c and there is nothing i can do, or that it's normal! Any ideas? Is anyone else experiencing this? x

cep · 14/03/2011 08:50

loup brown is fine, it's old blood. they don't worry unless it's bright red and coming with pain.

Loup23 · 14/03/2011 09:16

thanks cep that's helped, I was so shocked last night but relieved that no cramping came over night. Ok, will sit it out and hope it passes soon. I hope you are doing ok after your spotting, Fx for you.

rightontime · 14/03/2011 10:12

Hope theres no more spotting loup and really hoping everything is ok for you cep

I have just been sick for the first time. I am 6weeks tomorrow so timing for MS is spot on. Must admit getting it out of the way means I am feeling a bit better now and less Icky.

Hope everyone is doing ok today.

WuzzAndBuddy · 14/03/2011 10:26

Morning all!

Whats the plans for today? Anyone doing anything interesting?
DS and I are currently still in our pjs, he didnt wake up til 8.45 so we're totally thrown this morning!
He's at nursery at 1 so I'm going to wander into town and meet my friend on her day off, might even take my camera and walk through the park.
Love Mondays.

Woodifer · 14/03/2011 10:50

heya wuzz i biked to chesterfield from sheffield (10 miles)this morning to get the train to my work in derby

normal commute is cycling to sheffield station.

it was a lovely if chilly morning - cycling through countryside Smile. only got there a minute before my train though Confused taking it a bit steadier on both the ups and the downs.

i love cycling and running - both are feeling a bit harder work a the moment! cycling not as bad as running - i have only been jog-walking. i have told my running buddy and we went for a lovely gentle jog (walking up the hills) on thursday. i haven't told any of my bike club - so i'm avoiding going - as i would get carried away and try too hard/ or they would wonder why i was so slow.

i am taking it as it comes - i know i could wake up tomorrow wiped out by fatigue or nausea - lucky so far.

WuzzAndBuddy · 14/03/2011 11:06

Wow Woodifer, good start to the day!
Bet its nice doing something like that on a nice morning, not so much fun if it had been pouring with rain? Or are you one of those crazies thats out cycling in all weather!? Grin

I hate days that start the wrong way, really throws me! The sleep in was lovely, a great treat but I just can't get going now!

I have to admit, I'm feeling pretty good at the mo. I'm getting some really big crampy pains more often than I'd like, and feeling a bit nauseous every now and then but luckily the tiredness isn't kicking in until about 5.30-6pm, fingers crossed it stays that way!

Right. I am going to have a shower now, gotta get started, half the flippin day has gone already!

chipmonkey · 14/03/2011 11:26

Have been sick twice already this morning. Am hungry now but don't know what to eat. Dh phoned me about some noise his car is making and I couldn't listen properly, too nauseous!Sad

cep sorry to hear about the pink again. You are probably right to wait another week if you can. When I had my scan for my bleed, they told me only to come back if I had lots of bleeding or was in a lot of pain.

Loup a bit of brown blood is fine. So long as you have no pain and no red blood, you should be OK. It's always a worry but I had brown spotting all the way through my first trimester with ds3. He has turned out fine.

suziechan · 14/03/2011 11:35

chipmonkey oh no, i'm sorry to hear that...i'm loving ryvita at the moment if that helps? dry stuff seems to work better with my stomach!

suziechan · 14/03/2011 11:35

oh and thanks for adding me to the list!! sorry just saw your other post!

chipmonkey · 14/03/2011 11:56

see, I bought crackers the other night because I thought they would help. They didn't, unfortunately. It's all very randowm though, I managed cinnamon pretzels just fine!Hmm

bumpsnowjustplump · 14/03/2011 12:01

Morning all.. Busy weekend finally over with, I hate my weekends on, I have to start my weekend days at 5 in the morning and dont finish until 9.30 thant night.

Still i have a couple of days off now so going to sit and concentrate on resting. Apart from doing the school run, ballet, toddler groups and housework that is Hmm.

Feeling very sick at the moment which isn't very good with the kind of work I do as there are too many triggers.. lol. Although I havent actually been sick yet.

Cep how are things now? thinking of you :(

Welcome all the new ladies...

chipmonkey · 14/03/2011 12:44

Great. ds4 has just done an impression of me by leaning over the toilet bowl and spitting in it.Hmm

TerrysNo2 · 14/03/2011 12:48

Hello all

woodifer you are making me feel lazy Wink Grin I was impressed because I walked UP the travelater on the way to work rather than standing still!

chip being sick is horrid but also hold onto it as a good sign, hormones are a raging.

bump what do you do?

The past few days I have started feeling sicky and I am getting really faint if I don't eat for a while. I ate out yesterday and bought a soup today for lunch and they have both tasted so salty I can barely eat them. And I am loving fizzy drinks or flavoured drinks when I usually drink water.

Scan tomorrow - excited and petrified!!

Woodifer · 14/03/2011 13:04

i am guessing bump is a nurse or a doctor??

good luck for tomorrow terrys

chip i'm sorry that made me laugh - hope you feel better

3rdTimeLucky2000 · 14/03/2011 13:28

afternoon everyone! cep so sorry to hear the pinks back, got to say tho, it seems to be a few days apart and still no red so thats gotta be good hopefully!

woodifer how good are you! i can literally just walk across the room without being sick or falling over, and your off doing jogging and bike rides! turning green with jelously at your greatness lol:)

just done another test this morning as i havntdone one for 2 weeks, blue line came up pretty much instantly so hopefully thats a good sign everythings progressing!

one thing thats really confusing me, Confused i went to the doctor when i first found out and he said that i was 5+ to 6 weeks, and that was two weeks ago, but people on here have got the same due date as me, and were only 6 weeks on friday???? i really dont understand! has doc miscalculated? xx

bumpsnowjustplump · 14/03/2011 13:32

I am a community carer, so on the right lines but not as well paid Wink. I am hoping to become a community nurse but that is even further off now than it was 2 months ago he he he..

3rd when was the first day of your last period? that is the best way to work out due dates..

bumpsnowjustplump · 14/03/2011 13:34

Terry good luck tomorrow mine is on friday so know how you feel x
