Am I the first? I can't see another November thread.

Ok, my stats, I am 32, have 1 dd (2.1) and edd is 03/11/2011.

I had a mc at Christmas but feel ok about this pregnancy, though I only found out 3 days ago so I may get a bit more panicked as time passes.

Anyone else want to join me in a November baby thread?

laabama i'm down fareham way.

free i think i counted about 30 of us, but i was getting interrupted so i may be wrong. Confused
yes aches are normal, but blooming annoying.

freeangel · 13/03/2011 15:53

Thanks cep nice to hear its a normal. I am just worrying over the smallest aches and pains!

There will still be another 15 at least to join us i reckon as we havent got to the end of november yet! Seems so far away.

I have the top of the hampshire border near me. I have the same edd as you too local like cep

How you feeling now cep

goldmaple · 13/03/2011 16:56

Hello knitter, MrsArch, laabama, nicknack and crackpot (and anyone else that I missed!)

cep have fingers crossed for you that it was just some random spotting and means nothing! very glad it stopped and u are doing better:)

nicknack Can't believe how mean your boss is! U should never have to do something that puts u or the baby at risk!!

Had to go away for work thurs-sat so I haven't posted in a while. But now its my weekend. yay! So very tired!! Went to bed at 9:15 last night. I have been having more dreams than usual too:) I will definitely count that as a symptom since I don't have many others.

Thanks to all the mums out there for info on slings. I now have a lot to think about. Going to hold off on all shopping until week 12, but might make a list... would love to see yours terrys but have no clue what PM ing is?

rightontime · 13/03/2011 17:23

Yay, brother and sisters told so that is done and out of the way. Not sure how my sister took it as she has been TTC for 14 months with no success. I have sex literally once and have a BFP. She seemed happy for me but I do hope that she is not too upset by the news and hiding it. Sad

Free I am sure general aches and pains are quite normal. I sometimes get a stitch like pain down one side but not worried about it.

Is anyone in oxfordshire?

KnitterInTheNW · 13/03/2011 17:30

Nope, I'm in Warrington...

TerrysNo2 · 13/03/2011 17:32

No most/hopefully all of us are on the nov stats thread.

freeangel · 13/03/2011 18:13

Shame about the aches, but least the pink has stopped! Smile

Yes please terry can i have the updated list!?

Thats a shame about your sis righton i have heard from friends this happens, people try and takes them years, theres one lady who my friend told me about took 10 years for her first then spent another 7 trying! I dont know all the ins and outs of it though! It is fairly common for people to try for years whilst everyone around them falls so easily!

One of my dear friends starting trying the same time as me last year and she is still trying! I lied to her and said we are still trying. Except on the phone the other night i asked her how she was getting on, she asked me and i said i hadnt tried the pee on sticks this month, and didnt really have an answer for where i was in my cycle as im counting weeks of pregnancy! oops, i got off the phone quick! Grin

KnitterInTheNW · 13/03/2011 18:50

One of my best friends and I have been tiptoeing round each other a bit like that too, she has Crohns disease and was trying to TTC her second for well over a year. I got PG last time, and it was really hard telling her. Then I had my mmc and we both had a big cry, and then pretty much straight after that she got pg, and she found it really hard to tell me with what I was going through. She's about 20 weeks now I think, and I texted her with a pic of my testing stick. No need for any more tiptoeing now!

SnoozleDoozle · 13/03/2011 18:57

hello

I am new to mumsnet, so please be kind to me!

Is there room for a newbie?

I am 35, 2nd pregnancy, and due date of 2nd Nov. I am so excited, but can't quite believe it at the same time, it was only our second month of trying, wasn't quite expecting it to happen so quickly....!

chipmonkey · 13/03/2011 19:08

Hi Snoozle, welcome to the nest of vipersGrin

Except all of us on this thread, we're lovely we are!Wink

chipmonkey · 13/03/2011 19:15

Snoozle, have added you to the stats thread

suziechan · 13/03/2011 19:20

hi Snoozie and welcome!

Your name sums up how I'm feeling at the moment...I can't seem to get enough sleep!

Erm can someone please add me to the stats...sorry I'm new and I don't know how to (without messing it all up for everyone!)
I'm 31, it's our first..and due date 3/11/11!

SnoozleDoozle · 13/03/2011 19:25

Ok, now that I'm not scared to post, can I share something that you might think weird?

My pg test was positive, but with a very faint line. Now, I know from first time round that faint doesn't matter, that faint is still positive, but I was so excited (unlike first time, when I was in a state of shock!) that I was scared to do another, in case I had imagined it......But I know I didn't! I know I'm pregnant, because its my body and I know. Is this weird?

KnitterInTheNW · 13/03/2011 19:31

Not weird at all, I'm exactly the same! I keep going upstairs to look at this morning's stick, and checking it. It's not a dark line, but definately there. And I keep having to remind myself that no AF is a fairly good backup sign too!

Pipsbump · 13/03/2011 19:41

Hello Lovely Ladies,

I would like to join your group :)...I was a bit scared to as I had a mmc in November 09 and a mc last July :( but I've been reading your posts and I've decided to be brave and join before 12 weeks.

I am due on 03/11/11...I am really happy but nervous.

I hope everyone is keeping well :D x

goldmaple · 13/03/2011 19:44

Snoozle my line was so fain that DH called it a 'manufactoring defect' when I showed it to him. But a line is a line! Wait for first morning wee to try again! And welcome:)

terrys I am going to try to PM you.

goldmaple · 13/03/2011 19:53

Hello pips! Welcome too:) Missed you in that last post.

Piplysmelie · 13/03/2011 19:58

Welcome to the Newbies.

Gosh I think that is quite a few due on the 3rd. I might try and avoid that date! As the doctor gave it to me as a due date I am pretty sure I will Grin. I think it is only 5% of mums who give birth on their due date.

laabama · 13/03/2011 20:13

Snoozle I've spent the last week doubting myself, so I for one don't think you're weird! :)

TerrysNo2 · 13/03/2011 20:22

goldmaple you need to e-mail me your e-mail address so I can send it to you, I just got a PM from you but no e-mail!!

Welcome snoozle and pips (going to get confused over the two pip ladies, I know it!! [smile) - congrats to you both!!

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 13/03/2011 20:42

Snoozle and knitter I've done a test every morning since wed!
I started off with internet cheapies and then moved onto CB non-digital, then this morning did a CB digital that said 2-3 weeks. I'll repeat that in a week, hoping to see it go up to 3+.

I've told DP (obviously) and my best friend (texted her a photo of the test) - she is 43 and has 2 older kids and not ttc luckily.

DD (2.5) took us a year to conceive. We'd had GP tests and had just had our initial appt at the fertility clinic, they said come back when your period starts and it never did!
This time round, we used charting and taking temperatures and checking cervical fluid - I then discovered I ovulate anywhere between day 18 and 27 of my cycle so nowhere near the std 14 day the doctors say.
Even so, it's still taken us 6 months.

Of the friends I met at baby cafe with DD, of 9 of us, there is only one other who's gone on to become pg and she wasn't trying. I'll be the second (and I'm the oldest of them all Grin)

Not going to tell anyone else till after the scan I think (well that's the plan).

Not feeling 100% confident atm, as I have no symptoms except mild nausea and I still have 'ishoos' over DD's delivery - get scared even thinking of a hospital so blood pressure goes up at every ante natal appt! Don't know what to do about that.
