Am I the first? I can't see another November thread.

Ok, my stats, I am 32, have 1 dd (2.1) and edd is 03/11/2011.

I had a mc at Christmas but feel ok about this pregnancy, though I only found out 3 days ago so I may get a bit more panicked as time passes.

Anyone else want to join me in a November baby thread?

Hello lovely ladies,

Can I join too? I'm 5+5 I had a miscarriage in July (due date would have been tomorrow) i had an ectopic at the beginning of October. I'm having an early scan next friday,so feel excited at apprehensive all at the same time. Seeing the exhaustion and constant nausea as a very positive sign!

cep · 08/03/2011 20:48

welcome excited and loopy congratulations to you both.

excited it is normal to have a "bleed" around the time of the af. and brown is old blood. i know it is really scary though.

i've put the newbies on the stats thread, there's a couple who's edd i don't know can you go and update when you have time. cheers and welcome again.

excitedLJ · 08/03/2011 20:51

thanks cep
I'm relaxing more about it as the day goes on and just trying to be positive and hopeful. I hope by tomorrow I'll be back to being reservedly excited!

What a busy day on our thread!
dirge Congratulations!GrinI am SO delighted for you!
reallyuseful Good luck for your scan tomorrow. Do let us know as soon as!
bumps Aw. Not your fault! Hope your poor bunny is starting to feel better.
busyboys, 3rdtime and excited, a warm welcome, and congratulations!

Well I'd had a rubbish night. Felt like AF might be on the way again, and had bad dreams and woke up with tears trickling down my cheeks. Got out my CB digi this morning and steeled myself for a drop back to 1-2, but got a 3+!!. And I'm not 3+ till Thursday so very happy. Cramps have slowly faded away over the day. Got my blood test results from last Friday, and got 317 for my hcG which is at the top end - maybe twins after all! The clinic in Madrid said to have a scan on 18th. Can't work out what I will be in terms of days since conception, since the embryos had a head start before implantation. About 6+3 I think.

Glad to have my internet back now. Had Virgin round to fix problems this pm. I kept saying "Are you sure it's not the modem that is causing the problem?" as he was trying to fix other things. I didn't like to add " cos it was fine right up until one of the pet rats knocked a glass of water right into it, but now, not so good." lest I get charged! He fiddled away with stuff that was nothing to do with it, but I shouldn't complain as he's got our TVs HD working now.

knockedupagain · 08/03/2011 20:57

And also welcome to loopybear who has appeared whilst I was composing my witter! I really hope that you have better luck this time.

TerrysNo2 · 08/03/2011 21:20

cep I am so impatient, was going to try and wait but I just can't. I want to be able to get a little bit excited about this PG and every time I do I just keep thinking what if I MC again. I am hoping a small HB will give me something to hold onto.

Thursday is a big day for me, its the day I started miscarrying last time so I will be chuffed if I make it through to Friday!

TerrysNo2 · 08/03/2011 21:26

oops, forgot to move onto new page before posting Blush

So, welcome loopy and excited!

knockedup glad you got a 3+ on CB Digi!! Do you have a preference over twins or not?

cep · 08/03/2011 21:28

i don't think i'll allow myself to get excited until after the 12 week scan. i didn't find out about the mmc until i was 11 wks last time so if i pass that then i can relax.....well kind of. Grin fx for this week.

right i'm off to bed, 4am start (thanks ds) and i'm knackered.

TerrysNo2 · 08/03/2011 21:42

cep did you hear the HB before your MMC last time? I heard that a HB reduces the risk of MC.

3rdTimeLucky2000 · 08/03/2011 22:35

sorry for late reply! thanks, im really nervous this time around so will be googd to have this support system as havnt really told anyone yet! how far is everyone? im 6+ now xx

chipmonkey · 09/03/2011 00:58

Hey guys. Well, had a red bleed this evening and a bit of pain. dh told me to go to bed and I told him the kids wanted pancakes so I was making pancakes! But ended up snivelling while making pancakes. Poor ds1 and ds2 didn't know what was up and kept coming in to hug me.

After dinner, I went up to bed and bawled my eyes out as I was sure I was MCing.

Dh got the big boys to put the little boys to bed and brought me to the hospital. So I got a scan and they did find a sac and a bean but no heartbeat but they said it might be too early for a heartbeat. I am 5+5 today. I am thinking that perhaps there should be one? They have asked me to come back in 2 weeks which is when I am seeing my own obs anyway.

So hoping my little bean is OK.

cep · 09/03/2011 07:45

chip you poor thing. i didn't think hb started till about 6 weeks. fx everything is ok.

terry's yes i did i saw it just before 7 weeks. it is supposed to reduce the risk but in my case obviously not, they reckon it died just after the 7weeks. That's why i'm waiting till 7 weeks to see dr because even if i get scanned before i still wouldn't be able to relax.

3rd i'm 5+3 today. i won't be telling people until 12 wk scan done.

ochaye · 09/03/2011 07:52

Oh cep - you've got me thinking! I was going to wait until I'm at least 6 weeks before I phone the midwife ... but maybe I should just get an appointment in now. It'll be a few weeks away till I get one I'm sure. Right, that's it, I'm going to phone this morning.

Hi there 3rdtimelucky. There are a few of us on here who've had a miscarriage so you're in safe hands Smile.

GOOD LUCK reallyuseful ... I'll be checking for news!

excitedLJ · 09/03/2011 08:10

Morning Ladies, thank you all for the welcome.

Good luck really will be waiting with fx.

Well I have been to the loo twice his morning and there is nothing there when i wipe so I'm tentatively pleased. I have no real symptoms at all though so just feeling v weird. Even waiting til Fri for blood results feels like ages and I dont 'feel' pregnant. It's rubbish, I want to be excited.

cep · 09/03/2011 08:43

ochaye i haven't contacted the midwife yet either. hopefully once i have a scan at 7 weeks. (will be telling dr on 21st that i had those streaks of blood but won't tell them it was a week or so a go) and if everything is ok i'll book appt with midwife then. I sound really pessimistic don't i. Blush

excited i think everyone on here still has that fear when they wipe, i know i certainly do. Grin

really good luck, will be watching for news this morning.

chip how are you feeling this morning honey?

i have officially thrown up this morning. haven't gone into work as feeling bleurgh, and couldn't take ds to nursery as feeling sick and dizzy, i know in the long run i may regret that if he's a pain in the bum today but at that time i couldn't face driving.

ochaye · 09/03/2011 08:51

Oh cep ... symptoms!!!! Lucky you Grin. Did you make your docs appointment purely because of the blood? Or do you have to go to the doc first before the midwife? We used to have to do that here but now we just go straight to the midwife. Think I'll phone and book an appointment for some time in the future anyway. I'm just a bit concerned that if everything goes well, I won't get a scan for ages if I don't get myself in the system.

I'm with you all the way excited ...

Just looking back at the thread and I seem to have missed a chunk of posts somehow. Will go back and re-read! Forgive me chip - I missed your post from last night. I have everything crossed for your little bean.

freeangel · 09/03/2011 08:56

Morning ladies, congrats to 3rd time and excited Good luck with your scan today reallyuseful
How you feeling today chipmonkey Hope you feel better cep
I feel sick, yay!
Hopefully everyone will have a good day, its sunny and not cold out there today for the first time!

cep · 09/03/2011 09:08

ochaye to be honest i don't know i've always just gone via the dr. this time i booked it cause i want to get a scan in before i do anything else. The only way i can think of doing that is by saying i've had a bleed, which i have just not since last week.

free yay glad you're feeling sick, in the nicest possible way.

freeangel · 09/03/2011 09:18

Thanks, glad you have been sick and feel rubbish in the nicest way too!!!!

ochaye · 09/03/2011 09:27

cep - I have a friend who is a GP and he recommended saying what you need to say to get the result you want! Whatever puts your mind at rest and keeps you sane is what's important.

Glad to hear you're feeling sick freeangel Grin. We have beautiful sunshine today ... but it's SO cold. We even had snow last night!

freeangel · 09/03/2011 09:38

Its really slight though, good start i guess! You cant always win! You dont have symptons, you worry! You do feel rubbish, you get fed up! You feel better then you worry!

Snow? Where does everyone live on this thread!? Im in berkshire near reading and bracknell! :)

excitedLJ · 09/03/2011 09:44

free i live on anglesey so no snow here.

I know what you mean about symptoms coz at this point I would love a proper symptom! I'll just cling to my need to pee a million times a day!!

Feeling so much more positive today, done so much reading of threads where others have experienced a little bit of bleeding and been absolutely fine.

I'm back to being a bit excited now, I'm having a baby!! Grin

x

freeangel · 09/03/2011 10:06

Yes, im looking forward to having the doctor or midwife say to me yes you are pregnant! I have done 3 tests so i should be positive in the fact they have all said im pregnant but i am i tempted to do another!

I think you can scare yourself by googling your symptons. I have had tummy ache, pains etc and been so worried but i have heard its normal. Unless theres bleeding or its severe dont worry too much! But even though bleeding can be worrying, sometimes its perfectly normal and you just need to get it checked!

cep · 09/03/2011 10:11

free they don't. at least not down here, they took my word for it cause the hpt's are so reliable. when pg with ds i convinced myself at first scan would be nothing there and i had imagined it all, this with about 10 hpts. Grin i have my last one which i may do later, or tomorrow to see if has gone up to 3+

ochaye That's a sensible gp friend. Grin

TerrysNo2 · 09/03/2011 10:17

Morning all

reallyuseful keeping an eye out for your scan news!

cep I think I will have another scan at 8 weeks or so, it costs money but for me the price is well worth the peace of mind.

chip so sorry for bleeding, I booked a scan for this week initially (when I would be 6+1) and the sonographer advised me to wait a few days longer as you aren't likely to see a HB then and it just worries people. Hopefully 2 weeks will be a different story! Are you still bleeding?

I live in Surrey, positively tropical compared to ochaye who lives in the arctic!! (well Aberdeen sounds faaaarrr away to me!!) Wink

free can't believe I am Envy of you feeling sick! I want to!! Smile

I don't have any real symptoms, breasts a bit sore, going to bed early and need to pee easier but they could all be me reading too much into them!
