Am I the first? I can't see another November thread.

Ok, my stats, I am 32, have 1 dd (2.1) and edd is 03/11/2011.

I had a mc at Christmas but feel ok about this pregnancy, though I only found out 3 days ago so I may get a bit more panicked as time passes.

Anyone else want to join me in a November baby thread?

Thanks everyone and don't worry polly - congratulations and welcome to the thread.

It's stopped again now and I've been feeling nauseous this morning so I am fretting less but still a bit glum. Thanks for the hand-holding though - it's appreciated. freeangel you're right, I think when it's happening to your body it's hard to take the what-will-be-will-be attitude. Easier for dh because it affects him less I guess.

Ps DD was the result on a skipping the condom once! So glad I did it, hate to imagine life now if we'd been 'careful'.

Waiting for GP to call me btw

welcome whereareyou and congratulations.

i had a little blood when wiped this morning, so a little panic today, some odd aches and pains but seem to have stopped now. so see what happens now.

Hope everyone is ok.

TerrysNo2 · 04/03/2011 14:27

Hello all

Welcome popolly accidents can be the best thing ever - DS certainly is! Congratulations and do tell us your DP's reaction!

cep and Dirge so sorry you are having brown/blood - I know its scary but it could be nothing. I know when I had my MC at christmas it was there and didn't stop (for longer than 1 hour or so) so having a bit of it over one day sounds like it shouldn't be anything too serious. Keeping my FX for you both and everyone else at this early stage (and me!!).

cep · 04/03/2011 14:36

terrys hiya. mine was an mmc i'd had 2 tiny little shows of blood, 1st scan saw h/beat second scan no h/b. 2 days later started bleeding. is weird it didn't happen until after the scan.

DirgeInVegas · 04/03/2011 14:41

Yes I only had 1 little bit of spotting with my mmc at Christmas. I never actually started bleeding, I had erpc at 9 weeks - baby measured 5 weeks. Spotting at 7.5 weeks.

My gp called but I missed her and now she's not answering. .

Thanks though Terrys think I won't settle until I see a scan. I was probably always going go worry like this, despite my optimistic start!

sorry just realised i didn't refresh the screen before my post ealier.

dirge am sorry you're getting the brown blood again. if you feel you can hold on for another week see the dr the day before so when you're 5+6 and tell her of the bleeding, (for me they always booked epu scan for the next day) so when you go you should be 6 days. i really hope everything is ok. dh keeps telling me to chill, i told him about hte blood this morning and he said "oh right" and that was it.

welcome popolly sorry i missed your previous post, congratulations.

My neighbour's dh came round to tell me they'd had a little boy, Arthur, bless. I did say the blue balloon on the front of the house did give me a clue. Grin

freeangel · 04/03/2011 14:56

How you doing cep and dirge now? Hows everyone else?

cep · 04/03/2011 15:11

hi free i'm not too bad still get scared when go to the loo, but odd aches have stopped. Thank you for asking.

dirge have you managed to get hold of the dr again yet?

freeangel · 04/03/2011 15:15

Thats fine, its nice to have people to talk to as men dont seem to share the same concerns! I check everytime i got to the toilet, which is a lot today! lol have you rung the doctor? or would they not do anything as its still early? just try to relax? or you at work? I dont work fridays and i have next week off work! Yay

cep · 04/03/2011 15:26

i was at work this morning, i work tues-fri mornings. I haven't spoken to the dr, i have an appointment on the 21st. sounds daft but after last time (first scan was just before 7 weeks second at 11wks) i'm a bit scared of scanning before 7 wks, i know it makes no difference to the outcome but am determined unless i have a big bleed, to wait till i see the dr then to ask for a scan. I'll mention the bleed, just won't say when it was, i wonder if they'll let me have another one a couple of weeks after.

freeangel · 04/03/2011 15:31

No thats fair enough, you go with you feel is right! I have looked after children for 14 years and know lots about babies and children! But being pregnant i have no idea or clue about any of it! Very scary and exciting at the same time!

chipmonkey · 04/03/2011 15:37

Aw, Dirge! Nausea is a really good sign. I remember feeling so sick with ds3 but being kind of happy about it because of all the brown spotting I got with him. Don't give up hope, that kind of spotting is so common and you will probably have a bouncing baby at the end of all the stress!

No more red blood here, it has dwindled down to brown but not enough to stain a pad, only visible on wiping.

I got a CBD today and it's saying 3+ weeks which is where it should be, so I am fretting a little less. I rang the fetal assessment unit and they have said I can come in any time but it is probably too early to scan. A doc will see me but probably will schedule a scan. Nice to know they're there!

Dh asked me how I was feeling last night and I said "Better, I feel sick now" He laughed!Grin

Welcome Popolly!

chipmonkey · 04/03/2011 15:41

Popolly, have added you to the stats thread

Is anyone not on there who should be?

cep · 04/03/2011 15:48

free i may be completely different next week and begging for a scan. Grin

chip so glad the bleeding has stopped. i think with my epu i have to go via the dr, but am not positive, i wasn't brave enough to ask last time.

chipmonkey · 04/03/2011 15:55

They didn't mention needing a GP referral in mine. I did mention my Obs name, although I haven't seen him yet. I would be annoyed if I had to see my GP first. Here they charge 60 Euro per visit.

cep · 04/03/2011 16:21

As i said i never asked if i can self-refer will make sure i ask next time, cause it is a pain in the behind waiting for dr to call back.

deemented · 04/03/2011 16:28

Mind if i join you? Smile

I'm due approx 08/11/11.

cep · 04/03/2011 16:36

welcome deemented congratulations. have you visited our stats page yet?

lucyintheskywithdinos · 04/03/2011 16:43

Welcome deemented

dirge hope they get back to you fast, great that you are nauseous though (as odd as it is to type that!)

hope everyone has good things planned for the weekend, I have a workshop all day tomorrow, have to leave the house at 6.45 with both DDs, no idea how I'm going to manage that!

knockedupagain · 04/03/2011 16:45

Welcome aboard to both popolly and deemented! Is this your first deemented? It's an emotional rollercoaster here at the moment, with several of us having been spotting in the last couple of days. dirge, cep and chip - I hope everything settles down now.

I had a minor panic in the night when it felt a liitle like my period might be about to start, but I've felt fine today. I'm exactly 4 weeks. I hate this constant swinging from total confidence to total misery and back again. I'm trying not to say anything to my kids as I don't want them to go thru it too. Had a blood test at the docs today to measure HcG, and want the result NOW, not Tuesday!

knockedupagain · 04/03/2011 17:05

bumps How did you get on with your worm hunt? I think rightontime is right to say you should go to the doc if it isn't sorted soon.

tallulahpolly · 04/03/2011 17:22

Hi, just looked at the stats page. Lots of us now, a nice mix of ages as well!
To those who have been spotting-hope it all settles down soon.
I keep feeling my period is about to start too, then rush to the loo to find nothing there! I did my third test today, just to 'make sure' before I booked in with
the Dr next weds. Also I don't have any symptoms so still can't believe it's true. Boobs are a bit sore and I have completely gone off chocolate-does that count?

freeangel · 04/03/2011 17:52

I didnt enjoy my kitkat senses the other night, i was most upset at that! lol am hoping it was just that type of choc bar. I did 3 tests, i actually bought one of those didgi tests, it said i was 3+ on thur. Think i have spent enough now on tests!

welcome to Deemented

cep · 04/03/2011 18:22

i just had a chinese takeaway, and although i didn;t have a lot of it i now feel really sick.
