i have noticed that all the babies born so far are a good 8lb plus, dd1 was 8lb6 so if i follow the trend this baby is prob gonna be nearer 9lb!!! Ouch

elclose · 13/10/2005 17:27

p.s congrats to new mum, i remember the first night after dd1 was born i didnt sleep at all as just laid in hospital bed looking at her all night , its such a strange and amazing feeling!

Redtartanlass · 13/10/2005 18:03

CONGRATULATIONS JOCKEY

How much did she weigh?

Just been for a great wee nap, feel on top of the world, but don't think anything will happen until SAt

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 13/10/2005 18:07

RTL - you trying to tell me NOTHING is happening AT ALL?!!

Right, so Danishmummy tomorrow morning, RTL tomorrow afternoon latest, who's after those 2?!

mawbroon · 13/10/2005 18:11

My MIL thinks I am going to go into labour tonight following my urge to cook today.

Hope she's wrong..... it would mean an emergency section.

Redtartanlass · 13/10/2005 22:25

Nothing going on, off to bed.....Sweet dreams

mawbroon · 13/10/2005 22:28

Night RTL. Hope you get a good sleep.

Where's everyone else?

Redtartanlass · 13/10/2005 22:31

grannygoose · 14/10/2005 07:13

Congrats to Jockey and hooray for RTL. This thread really is very exciting!!!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 14/10/2005 07:19

No morning news then people?!

Jeez.... it gets scary when the first thing you think of in the morning is whether anyone on here has dropped overnight!!!

GOOD LUCK THIS MORNING DM!!!

KiwiKate · 14/10/2005 07:31

Hi there. All the best with the impending arrivals. (my dd is 4 weeks old tomorrow - it is all so worthwhile once they are born!)
xxx

Lexie100 · 14/10/2005 07:38

Friday 14th OCT offically my due date - so the stats say i'm very unlikely to have it today so not getting my hopes up. Slept so well last night (only 5 trips to the loo)

OP posts:
jessicaandbumpsmummy · 14/10/2005 07:41

lexie - i slept better - only 3 trips to the loo, AND Jess didnt wake up til 6.50am rather than 5am like yesterday!

So, I am now 1 week over my dates, and there is only 1 week left til the hospital dates - guess it really is a case of any day now.

After being so determined to get this baby out, im actualyl starting to get scared and want it to stay in! God, my hormones are EVERYWHERE!

mawbroon · 14/10/2005 08:45

Just reporting in this morning to confirm that I haven't dropped overnight!! I am definitely a freak. Went to bed at 1130pm, got up at 8am had NO trips to the toilet. (despite drinking normal amounts)

Going to aquanatal and then will see if the garden has dried up enough after the torrential rain to get some tidying up done. I have to plant my daffodill bulbs too. Now, whether I actually get off my arse and do this stuff is another matter........

I wonder what time DMs wee one will make his/her appearance.

triceratops · 14/10/2005 08:46

Congratulations Jockey on your little girl. It sounds like you had a good quick labour. You sound totally in love with your girl, well done

Redtartanlass · 14/10/2005 08:48

Thanks everyone for your good wishes, but guess what.......still here Had a bit of a show at 1am but other than that........

Thinking of Danishmummy today, I wonder what time she's in? When's your date again MB?

Anyway good vibes to everyone and here's to someone weekend babies!!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 14/10/2005 08:49

RTL..... it WILL happen today for you, i just know it!

mawbroon · 14/10/2005 09:01

Hi RTL. I go in a week today for ECV and will get a section same day if it doesn't work. And if it does work then I'll be playing the waiting game all alone on the thread..........

Piggiesmum · 14/10/2005 09:09

Hi Ladies. I am back home from my 4 week confinement in hospital. Actually I've been back since Sunday but just haven't been up to posting, although I have read through the threads tryng to catch up with everyone.

Huge Congratulations to everyone whos popped already and hoping those of you left won't be kept waiting much longer.

Anyway, ds was born on 4th October at 4.54pm by emergency c-section under GA. His birth was the scariest thing ever in my life (will fill in the gory details on the post-natal thread when I get chance but he is just so worth it. Obviously I'm biased but he really is so cute. No photos yet as don't know how to attach them.

Take care
Piggiesmum

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 14/10/2005 09:11

Congrats PM - well done, and sorry the birth was traumatic.

mawbroon · 14/10/2005 09:15

Congratulations PM. Hope you are recovering well after your section.

J&BM - I would bet you that you're not but it's illegal (have you seen the "how dodgy are you" thread )

RTL - it HAS to be you today. Go for it!!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 14/10/2005 09:16

MB.... did see that thread! Ok, how about it will be just you and me nattering away getting stressed out all by ourselves, and then we will pop on the same day?!
