Rocket I haz just laughed my arse off at your self-description Grin Pampering sounds awesome.

Bitey am super impressed with your cleaning shizz. Re. the cake carrying though, maybe start small with a cupcake or eccles cake, work your way up through iced buns and chocolate brownies then carrot cake then eventually to the full-on gateaux?

My Mum has just made a wedding cake for my brother and it took over 4 hours to cook because it was so massive. I will certainly not be carrying that fecker. It may require a forklift truck.

rocketleaf · 28/01/2011 22:22

Thanks musical oh dear, has he broken himself? will be even funnier tomorrow at 8 am Wink Hope the new bed is comfy, we also need a new one before separate beds become a necessity (along with about a thousand other things!)

rocketleaf · 28/01/2011 22:24

talking of cake, this avo i had a slice of blueberry and raspberry frangipani and a slice of baked cheesecake with home made dark chocolate wafer, all made by my very talented cheffy friend. Its was AMAZING and i would not hesitate to carry it a very long way just for the chance of another slice.

Muser · 28/01/2011 22:39

I want that cake. Damn.

OP posts:
Ocarina · 28/01/2011 22:53

Bitey I think you should carry whatever cakes you like, as long as you carry them in here for us to eat.

Scorpette · 28/01/2011 23:34

Hot DAMN, the description of those cakes are making me drool! Well worth taking the risk to carry those! I like Ocaroony's thinking on this matter Wink

Your hair does indeed look gorg, Rocky. All silky and swishy and ooooh

Good timing on the new bed, Muse. Keep him away from the new carpets if he feels sicky... Confused

TYF is hilarious when drunk, even though that only happens once every few years. Goes from super-shy to demanding every sings and dances and starts putting people in their place politically. So a bit like me when sober, then Grin

Thanks for the advice, Rocks. I have done counselling courses and also read my Mum's old books and guidebooks 'n' that. I read huge amounts of psychology books for 'fun' in my spare time (it's a barrel of laughs round ours, I can tell you). Haven't done much more research than clarifying my goals and working on the steps I'd want/need to take (not looked at any courses yet).

Of course, I own a pair of Freudian Slippers, which count towards at least 50% of a psychology degree, I do believe.

MustMountMoreFairies · 29/01/2011 10:26

'Ello there PESHes. Can I squeeze into your ranks?

Muser · 29/01/2011 10:35

Are you diffed ElfShagger? Did I know this? My brain says this is new news. In which case OHMIGOD!!!! Tell all.

OP posts:
MustMountMoreFairies · 29/01/2011 10:40

Well, Ma'Muse, I wouldn't be trying to muscle into your ranks if I wasn't, would I?

Yep, it's news. The classic BESH story really. Scheduled IVF, started doubting if I want kids at all, smoked, drank, had an X-Ray and hey presto, got diffed! Bit of a shock really.

rocketleaf · 29/01/2011 10:45

Oh my good lord!!! feymountaineer I have been fretting over the whereabouts of our FC triplet! thought you had gone permanently awol. Mahoosive congratulations on your diffment!!!!!!!!!!! As per what muse said. Details details please? How many weeks?

Muser · 29/01/2011 10:48

An ironi-diff! They are one of my favourite kinds! Oh that is wonderful news. It calls for nekkid dancing and more gin

OP posts:
rocketleaf · 29/01/2011 10:50

X post there due to slowness of posting from phone. Brilliant news Mountie just brilliant! Must have been a head fuck getting that far along with IVF route but glad it finally scared your wobble into behaving.

MustMountMoreFairies · 29/01/2011 11:01

Why, thank you lovely RocketShip. I think I am 7+4. Found out about 3 weeks ago, I think. SO didn't think there was a chance. Brainfuck the whole thing was indeed.

MusErr such a classic ironi-diff 'twas. I'd be careful about nekkid dancing though, my norks are a formidable force at the moment!

rocketleaf · 29/01/2011 11:26

wait til the blue veins show up. Unfortunately can't tell you brainfuckyness goes away really. It just sort morphs into different kinds of menkal as weeks go by. Not to worry tho. We are here to hold your hand (and peer down your top when you aren't looking) here have a large glass of gin and shamepain cocktail and a Brie and chorizo canapé to celebrate. :)

LadyGoneGaga · 29/01/2011 11:40

Mountie yay, yay, yay! Top news. Joins in the nekkid dancing but has to hold boobs in place as too sore to waggle too vigorously.

Grin Grin Grin

Ocarina · 29/01/2011 11:43

Woohoo! We does like an ironidiff round here. That's fab news Elfie

Scorpette · 29/01/2011 12:37

Fucking YESSSSSS! Oh, Mountbatten, I'm SO happy for you! I'd join in the nekkid dancing but each of my norks has its own gravitational pull, so I daren't. And as a fellow ironi-differ, I am v impressed - the X-ray was a particularly nice touch Grin

Wow, top news to crack off the weekend :) And as Cho is due on Monday and has been on radio silence for a few days, I'm hoping we'll have some more top news v soon...

Medee · 29/01/2011 13:19

Hello, I iz back. Catch-up post?

Love those portable changing station bags.

Muse great news about TBG?s trip

Bah to Scorps' physio experience

Lovely scan and NT results news, all round.

Great system at that birthing centre, Drom. It shocks me that the #1 cause of death for pregnant women is domestic violence.

Not a bad mummy at all to get some kicking action started Scorps. One day at work last week I jotted it down whenever I felt anything and it was roughly once an hour, so that satisfied me that just cos I don?t notice it, doesn?t mean it isn?t happening, while I am busy, active etc.

Hurrah for Mountie, that?s ace news! And another ironi-diff!

Scorpette · 29/01/2011 14:07

Cheers, Medee :) That's a good idea to write down every time I feel a kick; bet it's loads more than I think.

Did you have a fab time? Are you all pampered and chilled? (hope so!)

Medee · 29/01/2011 14:14

yes, was a lovely, lovely time. Mum-to-be massage very relaxing, and spent ages just bobbing about in the pool (ozonated rather than chlorinated!) enjoying the feeling of weightlessness.

Several people commented on me being "neat" including a midwife of 30 years' experience. But as I am bang on my measurements for my dates acc to my last MW appointment, shan't get too worried baby is small.

owlbooty · 29/01/2011 16:32

OMFG! That is tremendous news, MTF - massive huzzah and pliz to plant face in this 'ere giant celebratory cake Grin

ChoChoSan · 29/01/2011 18:02

Congrats, Mountigetsherman you got your win at last!

scorps I'm still here...low profile due only to lack of news and boredom...babber not giving the slightest indication of desire to move...I suppose it took so look to get residency, there is a reluctance to give the gaff up yet.

Cluckster where are you? I think the path is definitely clear for a bit of queue jumping here!

starnosemole · 29/01/2011 18:35

hopon is diffed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mahoosive congratumalations am delightedly chuffed for you.

CluckyKate · 29/01/2011 19:51

Still here Chogirl and keeping low profile for very same reasons - bored, fed-up and feeling a bit pathetic really.

MrCluck is being very good though and earned top brownie points last night by arranging babysitter & taking me out for lovely, surprise slap-up meal at a favourite restaurant.....top banana!!!

Don't think I'll be doing any queue jumping just yet but reflex-lady has decided to "go fer it" on Tuesday so we'll see what happens. Had a teary moment just now at thought of cuddling my little baby by the end of the week (wishful thinking) - can't believe it's just around the corner. Dog has got very clingy too....p'raps she has a sixth sense for such stuff, or maybve it's because I'm not working so now top dog in this place. Who knows Hmm

Congrats to all on fab scan/nuchal news and big welcomes to Mountie

Muser · 29/01/2011 20:05

Maybe gin is going to do a big run up and queue jump. Whatchya reckon gin? You lurking out there?
