can highly recommend the renault scenic (second hand though) or the ford focus c-max (second hand again)- nice high cars, with amazing space inside.

I don't think you need to drink much before hand these days - the scanning equipment is much more sophisticated than it used to be and by 20 weeks the uterus is fairly high up anyway. Every time I've bothered drinking before, I've had to go and wee it all out again and go back, anyway - so I didn't bother this time.

Fantastic news about your scan, thell. I love the name Roberta shortened to Bobbie for a girl

desperatehousewife · 19/10/2005 16:55

munz, don't worry about aches and pains - all sorts is happening down there - ligaments being streched, internal organs moving around a bit to make room for baby and insides adjusting to the new thing in there! I had all sorts of what I thought were terrifing pains first time round - real painful pulling in my pelvis and tummy pains. Pains in legs which i was convinced was dvt! All perfectly normal. You've been dopplering havne't you? So if you've heard heartbeat, you know all is well! try to relax as much as poss.

rp - when u say high up - how high do u mean?

oooooh off to update stats list as well.

toothyboy · 19/10/2005 20:20

This is so exciting - finding out who's having what. You're all making me want to find out now! My scan's not til next Wed (22 wks) - I can't believe so many of you are having them before me when I thought I was one of the earliest of us!

I'm certain I'm having a boy - even though this time is totally different to last time (ds). Last time I didn't have any sickness whatsoever, this time - I still feel a bit pukey at 21 wks! It's just that my mum and mil both had 3 boys and 1 girl, so I think the male gene is more dominant in our families!

Anyway glad everyone seems OK (apart from the SPD ladies - take it easy you guys ) and can't wait to find out how many more boys and girls we're all having! Is there anyone else waiting til March?

munz · 19/10/2005 20:26

ok guys here it is as usual any changes let me know.

NG - v v important question here - did u get the DVD of elizabeth? -if u did on the cast interviews has it got CE on there? - if it hasn't I won't bother gettin it - but if it has I will!

tb - glad to see u again. I think most of us are either this week or next week for scans. no sickenss here - just bloody sore niples!
