money causes so much stress doesnt it millie, im afraid i have to agree with you though.....bills first, luxuries second. Thankfully i am the 'accountant' in our household so have complete control. Been in debt and dont want to go back there, DH has been single on a good wage and never had to worry the last few years where as i am over cautious.......hope you sleep well and dont worry too much about it all

I am ok thanks Barbie, tomorrow he'll have forgotten all about what he said to me tonight and I'll be so engrossed in my beautiful DD (DS will be at school) then I'll hopefully have friends and family to ring round with my news, all will be fine xx

Sarahmumtobe · 16/12/2010 08:21

Good luck everyone with scans today and welcome all newbies! Haven't posted in a while as have had second wave of tiredness/nausea but have been checking in from time to time. 14 + 2 now with my first but definitely have a bump and am in maternity trousers for work although seem to have lost weight so hoping appetite returns a bit more soon!

jbells · 16/12/2010 08:46

morning all- just popping into say gudluck to everyone with scans today looking forward to reading all the good new tonite

soon of to drop DD at nursery then off to work :( booo

NoMoreSnowPlease · 16/12/2010 08:54

I wrote my post last night then turned the computer off. A couple of minutes later I suddenly though, did I really type my PBS is playing up? Yes yes I did. I meant my PSD has flared up (pubic symphosis disorder). Talk about a massive case of watching TV while typing pregnancy brain!!

~Millie I also meant to say that even if you did have twins on board you would cope (somehow). still a scarey thought though! Money causes issues in my household too. I'm always the one saying no to things and feeling like a stinger, but we're in debt past our eyeballs, so we just have to put up and shut up for now. (Oh the delights of being short on cash at this time of year. Honestly I feel like punching people sometimes when the ask if I've done all my christmas shopping!)

Hope everyone has a good (better) day. [fbear]

knackered76 · 16/12/2010 08:59

Good luck all of you having scans Grin

Millie Hope you're feeling better today and dp has done some grovelling. Money issues are always there to cause arguments in any relationship. Have to say I'm with you though, I hate being in debt for things. DH finds is quite amusing that I am soooooooo risk averse!

Barbie incase I forget later, good luck to morrow for your exam. I marvel at you and bow down to your sheer brilliance at doing early pregnancy and exams Grin

santamaxx · 16/12/2010 10:08

Hope all the scans go well today!
Good luck for your exam tomorrow Barbie

moomin156 · 16/12/2010 11:44

Fantastic news supersunny i have been lurking with baited breath whilst wrapping presents. How many weeks did they put you at and whats your new date. So excited for you, the best christmas present of all Xmas Grin

knackered76 · 16/12/2010 13:06

Grin Fab news Supersunnyday. I second all the questions above as well! It's such a relief isn't it after you've suffered a missed miscarriage. When I had my scan I lay down and practically burst into tears before they had even started I was so wound up!

Fingers crossed for the rest :)

supersunny 24th March! Xmas Shock You must have a freaky alien baby if it only needs six months in there Xmas Grin

Sorry, not very funny, but am back with report on Scan No. 2 Xmas Grin Xmas Smile Xmas Grin

It was great! We were there for ages because we're participating in research trials so we had a lot more paperwork to do and we were sent off to another part of the hospital for the blood tests that go with the nuchal test (and bloods for the trials). Well, we were told to go to another part of the hospital but were so delirious after the scan we just sat back in the normal waiting room and waited for half an hour before we realised we were in the wrong place. Doh.

But anyway: baby now measuring at 12 weeks 4 days, so we gained a day (yip yip). At first it was looking face on into the screen but after being forced about a bit it had its arms behind its head and its legs crossed, like it was lazing about in a hammock! Nuchal was 1.4mm. Am soooo excited to finally have my pictures - I was gutted 3 weeks ago that we didn't put our feet down and get one. Didn't cry - I'm weird in these situations - I didn't cry one little bit at my wedding either but just felt totally serene and that's exactly how I felt today. Sort of overwhelmingly calm, which is weird given my usual state of flapping ... DH went all red and chokey though, though he denies it now Grin

Got to ring family now (yes, I have told you guys before my own mum ... she'd kill me if she knew), but will be back later to see how the others went.

And congrats supersunny!

moomin156 · 16/12/2010 15:15

TTL congratulations, sounds like you have one chilled and happy baby in there. I also had to do a double take at supersunnys EDD......thats proper pg brain if you ask me LOL.
Hope you had a great time ringing everyone......lots of screaming down the phone Grin

takethatlady · 16/12/2010 15:23

Grin moomin, yes - well we've had a lot of screaming episodes recently because I got pregnant in August, told everyone on the 16th (to much screaming), lost it on the 18th, then got pregnant the next cycle (thought the cycle was 63 days long) so had all the screaming again, then had a scan 3 weeks ago with more screaming. So everyone was a bit blah this time!

Some sources say I'm in the second trimester now, so I'm taking that Smile
