Merry Christmas everyone! Congratulations Jack!

(And also happy 26th Birthday to me Xmas Smile)

Keep those bumps... and those babies now (!) happy and healthy!

PS: Anyone thinking of eating smoked salmon today...?

PolkaDotRudolf · 25/12/2010 09:52

Eating smoked salmon as we speak Zero! Mmmmmmmmmmmmm
Happy birthday to you! Hope you are getting double presents!!!!!

NeedToSleepZZZ · 25/12/2010 10:00

Oh Happy Birthday Zero! Double the fun for you I hope, I'm sure a little smoked salmon is fine... enjoy Smile

I watched One Born too and loved Barbara, I think lots of mws are like her so sure you'll get your wish angels. As you're having a girl I think the new Dawn French book is very educational (from what I've heard!).

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL THE FAB WOMEN ON THIS THREAD!! I'll have a glass of bottlegreen ginger and something for you later!

knittamerrykid · 25/12/2010 11:06

Congrats jack amazing news. Hope you get to hold your little beauties very very soon.

We need to start a graduates list now.....can't believe i actually typed that, maybe sunk in a little....eeekkk!!

I spent Boxing Day, also on the loo and sick. Still got bad stomach and doubled over in pain at times. Maybe i should ring hospital?? What u reckon ladies, or is this part of the third trimester shebang??

Too scared to eat anything today!!

ZeroMistletoeZeroTinsel · 27/12/2010 08:32

Might be worth ringing a midwife to be on the safe side pinkie. And maybe try eating a bit of toast or something...?

NeedToSleepZZZ · 27/12/2010 09:31

Sorry to hear that Pinkie, if you have diarrhoea then I can recommend eating a banana, I had it for about two weeks but they've been my saviour. Also, agree with Zero in calling mw to be safe.

Had brilliant christmas but very very tiring and doing it all again today asmy brother is coming, more sprouts and games Xmas Grin

ledkrsbellyislikesantas · 27/12/2010 09:34

pinkie any tummy upset can signal labour 0nset but very early stages,or could just be a bug.Ring for advice to put your mind at rest.I had terrible upset tummy last night but i think i over did it on the rich food
Blush

PinkiePoo · 27/12/2010 09:46

Thanks ladies. Rung day unit who said it was probably a bug and to stick to clear fluids and toast today, and hopefully should pass, but did say if pain gets more regular and feel more like contractions then to call in, but....i think i have just been very unlucky and caught a bug. Just gonna have to ride it out for today...

Baby can stay put for now please, far too early!!

Lulabel27 · 27/12/2010 10:23

Congratulations Jack on the birth of your girls.

I hope you've all had a great christmas. x

ledkrsbellyislikesantas · 27/12/2010 15:13

hi all my sister is a neo natal nurse and i asked her last night how my baby would be if born now at 34 wks,she said tired and hard to feed so i just thought that would get us thru the next few weeks.its gonna drag now isnt it?
i have dd birthday on 21st then ten more days but it will seem like a lifetime esp as we not going to get any more comfy in coming weeks.

WanderingInAWinterWonderland · 27/12/2010 16:30

Bloody hell!!!!! I can't believe I missed our first Feb group births! Xmas Grin Xmas Grin Xmas Grin Xmas Grin Xmas Grin

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS Jack! how amazing! Xmas Smile

Off to read the rest of the thread now! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas! X

debka · 27/12/2010 17:05

I know, ledkr, January is going to really drag. We have NOTHING exciting happening, but at least the days will be getting longer. Although considering how I have to drag myself through each day at the moment, that doesn't sound like a particularly good thing!

PolkaDotRudolf · 27/12/2010 17:36

I am also thinking these last few weeks will drag on... We are going away for NY until 2nd then we are off to London on 6th & 7th as DS has a hospital check-up but apart from that I have nothing planned either.

snowangels1 · 27/12/2010 18:04

So I guess in a way I should be glad I'm in the middle of moving now as at least unpacking/getting workmen in to do bits etc should keep me occupied/busy for a few weeks Hmm
