DQ - Wishing you a really, really happy birthday. hope you have a lovley day and a lovely evening.

God I slept so badly last nigh. Got into bed at 11 and was still awake at 2am. D snoring peacefully away next to me! I got up took some gaviscon, read, and then just gave up and lay there. Then I started to slowly wake at about 6ish.

Just having lunch at work so thought I'd mumsnet while I eat then back to the grind stone i'm afraid. Out at book club tonight.

So have a good day and evening everyoje, but esp you DQ,

TC x

dramaqueen72 · 21/09/2005 14:57

ladies
thankyou all so much for so many happy birthday wishes. feel v special

ei, glad you cleared the air and sorted it out. you have to do these things early, they def get worst if you shut up the first time etc....so good for you.
ugh nemo, burgers? how could you? yucky! I really dont like that kinda thing. mind you, if that leaves me sounding healthy you should see the amount of chocolate eaten in the last 24hrs here!
I have just tried on most of mamas and papas maternity wear. it all looks lovely on the hanger.........however its really too small across my bump........and if i keep going up sizes it gets too big everywhere else! so there i was in a nice shop, with dh saying 'pick a few things, I'll get them..' and only one thing fit!!!!!!!is my bump that abnormal in shape/position? i dont think so, tho may have to worry about it some now!

sweetheart · 21/09/2005 15:00

Oh DQ - you don't want to waste your money on maternity stuff anyway - not with less than 3 months to go!!!

Make him save the cash so you can treat yourself to a new wardrobe after the babies born

dramaqueen72 · 21/09/2005 15:05

it was a case of needs must s/h! I am done to 2 prs of trousers that are 'wintery' AND fit.
so I had to go make it three

dramaqueen72 · 21/09/2005 15:05

I was DOWN to even!

sweetheart · 21/09/2005 16:07

I'm bored !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

flutterbee · 21/09/2005 16:16

H Ladies,

My God you all talk so much I didn't post yesteday as I was at the hospital getting my Glucose test and my eyes are stinging where I have just read and caught up with everything.

The Glucose test has to be the most boring and horrible experience of pregnancy yet I hated it, then on the way out DH commented that the next time we are sitting in hospital waiting around it will probably be when I am in labour....scarey thought.

I went in to work this morning and handed in my sick note for the next week which leads me up to my holiday time, which then leads me up to my maternity leave YAY for me no more work, the look on the witches faces at work was a picture.
And DH and I have decided that next Friday is moving day so the packing has started, now all I need to do is talk one of my big brothers in to driving the hire van up the M1 to help us move as I can't drive and DH needs to drive the car. I am soooo excited but a little bit nervous about all the work involved and the fact that it is a 200 mile move.

Hope all you are well sorry for the long post.

ninah · 21/09/2005 16:26

sh I was the one Doing the shouting!
So nemo - did you?!

Nemo1977 · 21/09/2005 16:30

ninah i didnt lol we had jam on toast, a banana and a pack of crisps then went to play cars with ds..woo hoo..lol Although put him to bed for his nap and he was great. Not bothered at all so hopefully the fretting last night was a one off.
