Hi! Just popping in on all the due threads to say how very jealous I am of you girls -my tiny baby born in June seems like a big girl already! I miss my bump and want to do it again! (Forgotten endless uncomfortable days at 41 weeks+ already...!)

Will shamelessly add that I have just listed loads of Ruby's lovely but outgrown clothes on the For Sale thread if anyone still needs anything!

Good luck all and loads of magic sprinkles for easy births

Ei, can't believe you haven't long been up. Oh I wish I could have a lie in.

Sorry you are having a hard time with your neighbour Ebbie. I hope you feel better now and you get things sorted with him.

You all sound very busy today & so much planning going into your food. Back in the office today so I've been down the shops & bought a doughnut & sandwich - thrilling. Nothing in the house for dinner unless I go shopping so think it could be another sandwich for me.

DQ, I'm good at filling holes with Polyfiller, (I'm good at making the holes to fill too!! ) I'll swap you a tray of flapjack for my DIY skills

Oooh, more lovely secret stork pressies!! DQ, this was a great idea.

ei23mummy · 29/09/2005 15:00

im not particularly busy today so your all making me feel super lazy with your house work and being in work!!lol(i am actually really lazy tho so it might be that aswell!!)

dramaqueen72 · 29/09/2005 15:06

cat me ebbie and I'll try and do that recipe for you, ditto anyone else wanting any. I really cant remember who wanted what now.
nemo, hope your brownies are yummy
about secret stork, who fancies doing what next? revealing ourselves at christmas? one more gift when your storks baby is here? christmas gift swap? I personally could keep buying for my ss, for ages, and would also love to send gift when baby arrives and THEN reveal after we've all had our little ones.
so who can come to our meet up still? not really long is it? as oct is about to start
my midwife asked me to have my bags packed by week 30-33, just freaked out at that being like NOW almost. eek!
george, its a crack in plaster that I need to fill. hmmmmmmmmm, hope its straight forward!

sweetheart · 29/09/2005 15:22

DQ will be 31 weeks on Sunday - I hadn't planned on packing my bag for a good few weeks yet!!!!

I'm still in for the meet - think the best place would be the restaurant with the kiddies play area. I'm happy to phone and book if you like.

Been out for a looooong lunch with my boss today so I'm feeling stuffed (and I've just remembered tonights casserole ) Had a caramel parfait for pudding - YUUMMYYY!!!!!

Went to the PO earlier and picked up what I think is my ss gift (it's in a Clark's box so am I right?????). I'm trying to resist temptation to open it until I get home.

I was planning on sending my ss a card when she has the baby. I also have a few address from the stork's I sent out so though I might send cards to anyone I've got addresses for. Thats if people don't mind of course!!

sweetheart · 29/09/2005 15:23

Ohhh, I was yawning on the way back from lunch and my boss said if I was tired I could go home. Stupid bloody me protested just a tiny bit too much and now I'm stuck here for another 1.5 hours

I shall keep my mouth shut next time and just say "Oh, OK - Thanks"

george32 · 29/09/2005 15:31

Pack the hospital bag??? With what??? I haven't bought anything yet! Oh no, panic hits again.

Love the idea of buying another pressie to send when our ss ladies babies are born.
(oh, I so enjoy buying presents )

scully · 29/09/2005 16:05

yes, like the pressie idea - giving and receiving
sh, there would be dust after my footsteps if anyone suggested I leave early - I do hope you've learnt the error of your ways
still on for the lunch as well, won't know until much closer to the time though if dd is coming with me.

sweetheart · 29/09/2005 16:33

So far on the provisional list I've got:-

Me
DQ
Ninah
Bonkerz
Scully (possibly plus dd)
Nemo + ds
Ei

Anyone else????? I'll give it until Monday and then book a table. We can confirm No's about a week before hand and change the booking if need's be!

And YES!!! In future I will be keeping my big mouth shut about going home early!!! What an idiot - DUH!!

sweetheart · 29/09/2005 16:33

DQ -

Next week when I'm bored I now have something else to organise and budget for. Hadn't even really thought about the stuff I'd need to buy for my hospital bag.

george32 · 29/09/2005 16:51

Can you put me on the list too please.

Woo hoo - home time soon

Nemo1977 · 29/09/2005 16:53

DQ a word please lady...you do realise you are extremely bad dont you...the nemo household is going to be even bigger and rounder thanks to those brownies...lol They are gooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuussssssssssssssss Ds and I had one each and my sis turned up on her way to uni and swiped 2...pmsl. Ds got up from his sleep saw them still on the side and went mmmmm mummy nice...lol Have so far resisted his second helping but at this rate am going to have to do double batches..pmsl

Ei soooooooo jealous of 1pm lie in...that will definetely change with kids..lol Adams lie in was till 7.45am this morning and thats only after being awake half the night..lol

SH poor you being shattered and stuck in work.

George I havent bought anything for hospital bag etc either and I am 29 wks tommorow I cant even remember what goes in it anymore. Also think a take away is called for in your house as sandwiches are not substantial enough for a pregnant ladies evening meal

Nemo1977 · 29/09/2005 16:54

sh think bonkerz is bringing her little boy too..maybe to make me feel like im not a loon...lol Just I have no chance of anyone being able to have adam as dh will be in work

sweetheart · 29/09/2005 17:26

Just wanted to log on and say a HUGE THANK YOU to my ss. I have been well and truly spoilt!!!!

Also, thank's for the lovly note you enclosed - I did mine in such a rush I forgot to add something nice like that.

Anyway, I got:-

Little babygrow - so cute
some bibs
a teddy
sweeties/choccies - YUUMMMMMMMMMMYY
Birth announcement cards (totally brilliant idea - thanks)
a kit to make a hand impression
Sanctuary stuff (MY FAV!!!!! You can NEVER go wrong with sanctuary )
And some books for dd - thank you, that was SUCH a nice thought.

I opened it infront of dh and he wants to know where his prezzie is!! HA - he though we were all being odd sending each other gifts, well he's not so smug now is he -

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

Right, I'm off to try and work out who's my ss now Hopefully it's one of the meet up ladies so I can say a big thank you in person!!!

sweetheart · 29/09/2005 17:30

ohh, and keyrings - forgot to say them. Sorry my dd had walked off with them!!!!

Nemo1977 · 29/09/2005 17:36

pmsl SH sounds like a goody bag. I am just laughing because I thought about putting a note in and then thought my stork might recognise my handwriting...lol how dim am I!!!!!!!!!!!!

bonkerz · 29/09/2005 17:52

HI Ladees
You have all been so busy! Cant keep up and just cant think straight! The secret stork idea has been great and dont mind what you all decide to do, will go along with it!
I am defo gonna be at the meet as long as i fit behind wheel of car! And will also be bringing DS as noone to pick him up from school so am predicting he will be poorly that day (im a bad mummy!! but he had 92% attendance last year and thats only cos he has op on tonsils!!so i dont care!)
Last night just went from bad to worse! Tumble dryer started making horrendous noise and when i went to look it had chewed up DH work shirts and DS school jumpers! Rang complaints today and DEMANDED someone gets here tomorrow as i have wet washing all over house and being pregnant thats not good!! Someone is coming in morning!!!! DH moaned cos he had to put heating on to dry clothes and then moaned cos i said i wouldnt drag 3 kids to PO to get car tax for HIS car. Ended up going to bed at 8.30 in DS spare bunk bed! Dont know what to do tonight as dont feel so moody but cant be arsed with DH! May sleep in spare bed again cos slept REALLY well!!!
GOT MY BIG CAR BACK TOO and am well chuffed and also very cautious! Terrified to go over 30mph! Im sure that wont last long though!
Back ache getting worse and have had acheing pain in tops of thighs all day. Have also noticed Alex kicks are more like dull thuds the past couple of days so have resorted to counting them and shes still on 10 kicks or there abouts. Is this something to worry about or she just not got much room now? Am not overly worried but her lack of jigging is noticeable! IYKWIM
Ok have spouted enough me thinks! Am off to cuddle DS!
BTW made sausage cassorole for tea today but dont fancy it so may go get takeaway too but not chinese after last time!!!!

bonkerz · 29/09/2005 17:53

NEMO: You saddo!!!!!!!DUH

sweetheart · 29/09/2005 18:21

bonkerz - don't worry hun. It's perfectly natural for our little bundles to move less from now on - which is why they recommend the counting kicks thing. There is a severe lack of space for them now. Only panic if you have a day with no movements!!

Sorry your dh is being an arse. I know what you mean about the empty bed thing. My dh goes to work at 4am and it's absolute bliss when he's gone - I get the whole bed to myself

george32 · 29/09/2005 18:49

Bonkerz, my little one is having a quiet day too & aren't we about the same due date?
I'm amazed that it can still move at all as there can't be much space left in there with my digestive problem. (GP has given me some lactulose by the way so hopefully I can stop moaning about it soon! )
Anyway, what I'm trying to say, in a very long-winded way, is that I'm sure everything is fine Bonkerz, I bet she starts kicking like crazy at some wierd time in the early hours.

I think I really confused my DP about the secret stork pressies. He kept asking me who it was from & couldn't get it out of his head that it was something I was doing at work - I did have to point out that finding a whole bunch of ladies all due in Dec in a company of around 80 people would be a huge coincidence!

dramaqueen72 · 29/09/2005 20:23

george, LOL at your dh and ss! mine thinks its very weird that I am going to meet you all - or some of you anyhow!!he is quite used ti stuff turning up via internet shops or ebay so wasnt so interested in ss.......... I'm glad sss is going well {-nobody got any complaints so far? all ss getting gifts etc??)I think we should keep secret til we have all had babies then. how lovely. i cant believe we are all going to have new babies, isnt it mad?!
I have babies v quickly, and several days even weeks early hence midwife saying about bag.
found www.babyrucks do a nice bag (I need an actual bag, mines fallen apart) and have list of what to put into from last baby if anyone wants help wiht that. still you can never pack too early in my book, god forbid dh having to scrabble about and bring it in.......he would be no good at that!!
nemo, glad the brownies turned out well. nice arent they? batch bake them and freeze for those domestic goddess moments when you cant be bothered..........

Nemo1977 · 29/09/2005 21:58

DQ I am under orders from DH to bake moreeeeeeee brownies..he has come home and polished off 4 after his tea Between him and Adam they are not lasting long at all...He also asked if you have anymore recipes please..lol

dramaqueen72 · 29/09/2005 22:54
