I woke this morning,with my neighbour knocking on the door,thankfully dh hadnt left for work yet,u c our back gate is really flimsy at the mo,and needs a new lock,
next door neighbour,has a hook on bk of our gate,to hold his open while he moves his van out etc,I dont have a problem with that but.....
On tue,dd and her friend were in the garden and dd came running in to say that we MUST go outside NOW,gate was wide open[its a double gate too,acess to rd]so locked it Again,and saw n d n,asked him not to use the hook until new lock on as gate keeps opening,
ok he said...Yesterday came home from being out all day to find gates Wide open...Went outside and put tape to stop him using it[thought wouldnt b a problem as had asked him anyway for the time being not to use it..]So this morning he comes roung Shouting at dh, saying i was blaming him for the gate,i came downstairs and said,no i didnt i just said our gate needs new locks.....So mad,i cried so hard thought i would go in to labour.apparantly he apoligizeds as dh showed him our gate...Do u think i was in the wrong?I feel really guilty now,but am fed up of coming home to an open gate,gale force winds never open it when he is away on holiday and while i am saying its not the hooks fault i would never forgive myself if anyones children esp my own exscaped thru the gate being open...Or if any of dd toys in garden got knicked....
