Thomcat · 23/09/2005 21:49

I don't wanna know, i don't wanna know.

!

I don't wanna know.

I didn't ask.

ebbie22 · 23/09/2005 23:51

oh bonkers hope you have been resting....tc,i havent a clue,do u really want to know?Does anyone know about the show tickets,is it 22 pounds pp?

ebbie22 · 23/09/2005 23:53

And moving the funiture from one room to another isnt really the problem, its moving it bk when u reliese it was better where it was in the 1st plae[should really invest in a tape measurer...lol]

Thomcat · 24/09/2005 00:09

No, I don't want tto know anymore, I think it might be a girl but I don't want to know for sure.

Anyway, anyway,

So great to see midwife, great to hear heartbeat. Lottie bum shuffled over and took the heart monitor stick thing off the midwife, before she had used it on me, she had her baby in her arms and she put they heart thing on the area of the baby where her heart would be! Bless. Then Lottie and my mum got to hear the heart.

Midwife said I was a good size, baby in good position, good heartbeat, everything good

She said as the hospital is out of my area, officially I am not allowed to actually plan a home birth, but if it's her that is on call the night I go into labour then she's up for keeping me at home. So fingers crossed. I'll start collecting old sheetsw and towels anyway and see how it goes. If I get to stay at home, wonderful, and if I go into the birth centre I get to have a water birth. Just hope I don't end up delivering in an ambulance! Then again, good story for him/her to tell people when they grow up! Doesn't really matter I guess, but would be nice to be in my bed with baby on my breast and lottie snuggles up in the crook of the other arm, and d curled up round us.
I can't wait. I'm so excited

ei23mummy · 24/09/2005 00:15

bonkerz, meant to say, I had a really, really close call the other day. I don't know what I was doing. Pulling out of my road, looked up nothing coming, looked the other nothing coming, but didn't check back again and just pulled out. I just saw this man 's face and he swerved to the other side ofthe road as he braked.

I felt so bad, I got out and just said 'sorry' about 12 times. He just said 'have a nice day' and drove off!

I was so shocked and felt so stupid, and I got a bit teary. I haven't told anyone about it, except you!

george32 · 24/09/2005 01:18

Morning everyone.
Nemo, no wonder you are so tired at the moment - did you get any sleep?
Back to bed at 3.00am for me & managed to doze off so feel much better now.

Thankyou so much to my Secret Stork Lovely pressies, choccy (um, didn't last long!!), lovely lavender baby bath milk, a little weeney t-shirt, 2 keyrings to put baby pics in, and some teeny tiny little socks for little baby feet. All so lovely, thank you

Busy day ahead of house things like painting & removing fitted wardrobes. I think I get the job of chief tea maker!!

dramaqueen72 · 24/09/2005 11:01

sounds like a good gift george........
and also an good job you have there today!LOL how about popping out shopping and coming home to find it all done?!LOL! that is this stage of pg DIY!

dramaqueen72 · 24/09/2005 11:02

nemo I missed out, I missed out! I'm all sad and unloved now........

sweetheart · 24/09/2005 11:37

Back from the NCT sale - I grabbed myself some bargains so I'm quite chuffed

Lots of stuff I could have brough but luckily I didn't take much cash with me. I know what I'm like

So, now I have:-

A baby bath
Some snuggle robes
A nappy bin
Some Avent bottles
An Avent breastfeeding system
and
a hat and mitten

all for £15 - bargain I think.

My mum also gave me the babies shawl today. It's a tradition in our family. My mum knits every new baby in the family a shawl. So I've got to go and find somewhere safe to put that. My cat likes to sit on anything new and make it all hairy GGrrrrrr!!!

Nemo1977 · 24/09/2005 11:46

sounds like a good trip SH

dramaqueen72 · 24/09/2005 11:55
