Happy birthday for Sunday Scully.

Ninah - sorry, only just got your e-mail. I finished work at 3pm and have only just logged onto home computer.

It looks like my dad will get the minimum pay out they legally have to make - probably £100 so not really any help!

ebbie22 · 23/09/2005 16:49

I know how you feel my dad got made redundant last year, had a job lined up,that fell thru, did get another one after countless interviews, but it has stressed him out so much think he is going to have a breakdown soon[between us girls].My heart goes out to him, wish there was something that i could say or do.....

ebbie22 · 23/09/2005 17:14

dramaqueen72 · 23/09/2005 19:59

LOL you ladies! I do love you guys!!! I missed being able to get on here today.
s/h trust me wait until your pg with your fourth child........then that 'slight accident' you whispered will be without fail its scary isnt it?!
secret storker.um.you sound abit scary but exciting too!
I'm hoping lots of storks will be on here delighed with their gifts soon. sounds like lots of gifts just gone out/just about too!
s/h I'm really sorry about your dad how crap. hopefully tho there may be some seasonal work about? even just for abit? I'm sorry, like christmas isnt enough pressure already.
george, -yes dh is alright tonight....I dont know guess it must eb me, but honest to god he can piss me off so bad in the evenings......guess I'm tired and achey, and hes such a BLOKE that its bound to end in snappy comments...(at least) I wouldnt say i love him madly right now tho
ebbie, WISH everyone would come to meet up, would love to meet all of you, feel I 'know' you all, like you say, and care so much about how youre all doing. even tho meeting up face to face might be a shock-i have pictures of you all in my head and you might not look like that!!!- and we shall all have to wear 'mumsnet name' badges!!!LOL
anyone seen kangel about? i havent seen her here, or did I miss it. try and keep track of everyone and make sure they check in, but failing miserabley......... all names blurr slightly into one!!

dramaqueen72 · 23/09/2005 20:03

p.s. ebbie, I'm abit like you moving stuff, with me its furniture, i think 'oh that would look nice in the bedroom instead of there......' and find myself stuck halfway up stairs with large cupboard etc....... but not in mid to late pg!! please, tumble dryers are heavy great square lumps, please dont go shifting such stuff, dont want you or bean coming to any harm okay! NOW SIT DOWN!!!!!

Nemo1977 · 23/09/2005 20:05

ooo dq describe your mental image of me its intriguing

I think you are blonde, blue eyed about 5ft6, thin wiht little football bump, and wear quite trendy clothes..lol

dramaqueen72 · 23/09/2005 20:07

yes well nemo, i think youd better not meet me then! I'm obviously much better in cyber space!!

Nemo1977 · 23/09/2005 20:09

pmsl am sure oyu are lovley hun...just the image i have..obviously image people have of me will be different aswell

dramaqueen72 · 23/09/2005 20:12

well I think you are looking abit tired, what with a toddler and that bump! you have hair that long enough to be put back, and its conker brown. which would prob make your eyes brown too....... youre about 5.5, and up as late as me on mumsnet break it to me gently if youre blonde and taller/shorter! am I close?

Nemo1977 · 23/09/2005 20:16

lol dq
definetly on the tired look, i do have long dark hair that is always tied back as I dont have time to do anything else. When I can be bothered I dye my hair a reddish colour but not done it at all this year so am back to my natural.I am 5ft8 with blue/grey eyes. Also a larger lady so quite round..lol

dramaqueen72 · 23/09/2005 20:16

FWIW, I'm 5.5, normally a size 14, currently looking about 37wks pg witha HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE all out front bump. I have highlighted mousey/blonde hair (whats the nicer phrase? ah yes, strawberry blonde!!) sz 6 feet 9just incase you want to know, am descriptively 'curvy' and abit er...loud. but shy really underneath. veggie, and somewhat of an arty/animal nut/baby lover. so..you put off that meal out now!?

dramaqueen72 · 23/09/2005 20:18

5.8! so i'm the shortarse then
glad you have the 'right' colour hair for my mental pic! and hate to break it to you, but we are ALL round now. v round! cant wait to see restaurant owners face when we all arrive!!!

Nemo1977 · 23/09/2005 21:00

lol will be funny

bonkerz · 23/09/2005 21:18

HI girls, what a day!!!

Started off bad cos had my GTT test and had to sit on uncomfy plastic chair for 2 hours and have 2 blood tests from the same arm!! OUCH

THEN..... I had an accident in the car AGAIN but this time it was much worse, lost control of the car and ended up 90 degrees in the middle across a 60 limit road! Am still shook up! 2 police cars and about 8 people had to stop to help move the car (an 8 seater minibus!!). Apparetly my back wheels skidded and i bashed the curb hard before spinning 360 and ending up across the road! Horrid experiance but luckily baby and i OK and noone hurt at all and only my car damaged! HAd to get AA to take the car to garage where we think it will cost in excess of £500 to fix! Money we dont have so insurance will have to cover it BUT still gotta find the excess! Went to doctors to get baby checked and was told i would have to PAY for the appointment!! Was told i am not ill and therefore will have to claim on insurance for the cost of being seen! LUckily i turned on water works and doc got the doppler out and didnt charge! Alex seems fine but have been advised to rest! Could have been so much worse.

Had planned to post stork present tomorrow but have no car now so cant! Sorry. Hope to get car back next week and will post ASAP. Im sorry!!

Feel bad saying anything else other than talking about you, but my best mate is here and I wanted to ask you what you thought about this: Saw midwife today, asked her what the heart beat was and she said 'high end of normal'.
So, whaddya reckon? Boy, or girl?

Nemo1977 · 23/09/2005 21:41
