Morning everyone.

LOL @ you all comparing knicker putting on positions!! Knickers I can still just about do, socks is a different matter though

So glad to be back from Leeds. Last time I'm doing a journey like that, I was soooooo tired by the time I got there. Crashed straight into bed, didn't even bother with room service

I'm another for the insommniac club. Evry other night I lie there for hours just waiting for sleep with nothing happening. Never sure whether to get up or just stay in bed.

Ei, so pleased you have sorted out your DP & his nan.

Whoops, just realised I've typed this and completely forgotten to hit post - duh, pregnancy brain strikes again!!

george32 · 23/09/2005 09:47

Quick question; Eating peanut butter in pregnancy - good or bad?

dramaqueen72 · 23/09/2005 09:49

morning everyone
george, nope I definately have to hold on to side of something when balancing to put one leg thro knickers!! socks are a nightmare......

really bad spd pains last night, so much pain to roll over in bed and have to take about fifty attempts to do so it wakes me EVERY time and I am soooooooooooooooooooooooo cranky on not enough sleep i think I am falling apart. seems i will not be able to MOVE in nov/dec. and so much to do. eek!
still excited about my 4d scan tho, that makes me smile, thinking about that....
hows the secret stork posting going/ has just about everyone done it/about to do it?

dramaqueen72 · 23/09/2005 09:52

oh god not the peanut butter question........(theres a very split camp on this george). if you have any history of allergies, sucha s food allergies, in your families dont eat much of the stuff. thye are abit OTT about it over here in uk IMO, in USA they are encouraged to eat the stuff (it is full of good stuff you know!) and personally if the mood takes me I eat it. (the mood hasnt taken me much tho this pg since eating it when I had m/s and now ti reminds me of that!!) so I would say, as long you werent actually going to bathe in the stuff and eat twenty gallons, go ahead.......

sweetheart · 23/09/2005 10:04

quick post then I'll be back .....

George, I agree with DQ - unless you have a family history of peanut allergies it's considered to be OK.

I've eaten it lots (probably about 3 times a week) and I'm fine.

sweetheart · 23/09/2005 10:07

Ei, sorry to hear your in pain with your wrists. It's probably the last thing you need at the mo!

DQ - have you made up with your dh yet? Hope everything is OK.

I'm waiting for my stork's things to arrive - it might take a couple of weeks but it'll be worth it

Ninah doesn't seem to be about this morning but I know she's got her prezzie sorted and was planning to post it over the next couple of days.

george32 · 23/09/2005 10:09

Thanks guys.
Played it safe & went for marmite instead as the guy going to the shop wanted to go.

Was still nice

scully · 23/09/2005 11:09

If only i had this bond when i was expecting my dd...

sweetheart · 23/09/2005 12:12

well, up until last weekend our garden was like a battle zone. Now we have a nice new patio and pathway and the mounds of earth are being cleared of debris and levelled so we can plant some grass seeds.

I've had nothing but a big mud pit since we dug it all up about 6 months ago so I'm so pleased to finally see it coming together.

No wonder you are achey - carrying a tumble dryer!!! I'm still shocked by that.

Where abouts are you ebbie, could you join us for the meet up?

george32 · 23/09/2005 12:12

Hi ladies, just popping in to say hi before my next appt of the day!
Ohhhhh, my neck and muscles ache today after my stretching yesterday, feels a good type of ache though, feel like I've woken some long sleeping muscles up. I went to the active birth class last n ight, loved it, really nice time to bond with mole and chill, stretch, relax, and have a giggle too.
Right off to my next appt, will check in after midwife has been and gone later today.

sweetheart · 23/09/2005 13:54

Just had a bit of bad news - my dad is being made redundant before xmas.

Him and mum have been struggling as it is since she retired. Dad is 60, not in brilliant health and has no qualifications. Who's gonna give him a job

My mum is also loosing money from our cleaning and childcare whilst I'm on mat leave - I feel really guilty!!

ei23mummy · 23/09/2005 14:38

hey ladies!!
i havent managed to get dressed yet so ill keep you all posted on my style of knicker application!!lol!!
im so sorry to hear about your dad s/h, thats such a kick in the nuts around christmas aswell!!
george, im a devout peanut butter fan so i say a big YES to eating it whilst prg!!
whats everyone up to today?

OP posts:
ninah · 23/09/2005 15:17

not dressed ei ?!x!
sh - nuts! I am emailing

scully · 23/09/2005 15:19

Will he get any sort of payout sh, to make it a bit easier initially? We had redudancies here a few weeks ago, they are never nice, always a shock.
Well I've been a bit spoilt today - was taken out for lunch by one of the guys here, and then my team bought me a b'day cake from Thorntons and their b'day present to me were vouchers for a 1hr aromatheraphy facial, 1hr manicure and 1hr pedicure and they even bought them from a place near my home, which is no where near where I work.
Makes me feel slightly bad for being a hormonal cow lately
Ebbie, is the tumble dryer a normal size? How on earth.....

george32 · 23/09/2005 15:57

Is it your birthday Scully? Well, I'm presuming it is if everyone if buying you birthday things

SH, sorry to hear about your Dad, I hope he manages to find something else soon.

Only half an hour to go for me & I'm counting every minute. (Plus only 3 weeks today at work to go - woo hoo!!)
