Congratulations Jenzopos! Lovely news on your girls! x

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 19/11/2010 22:47

jjkm thanks for posting that info on BHs/prem labour, I am slightly para about prem labour given my history so I am glad to have read that.

Good luck for tomorrow Swazze :)

Hi to Tabby good to see you again!!

Doing good thanks Holidays although shattered again today, def gonna get my iron levels checked. Just been on a TAMBA seminar at our local children's centre. Was really interesting/useful (especially for DH) and also quite scary! How are you getting on?

Victoria - how are you feeling now as you were under the weather?

Great news on your date Amberc!

Swazzee · 19/11/2010 23:25

Congrats Jenz! Good weights and lovely names.

I'm lying in the hospital ward (with heartburn) listening to someone moaning with labour pains. For two days now I just watch people come in, have pain, move to labour ward and then hear they gave birth. Really hope it's me tomorrow!

smokeybacon · 20/11/2010 07:28

Congrats jenz! Well done. Lovely names and what good weights.

holidays2010 · 20/11/2010 09:06

Swazzee Hope it all happens soon for you, it reminds me of the episode of friends when Rachel gets upset as everyone keeps going into labour before her! Lots of good luck and best wishes, and I cant wait to hear all about it Smile

Lavitabellissima · 20/11/2010 16:40

I like the gap in the list, assuming Swazzee gives birth soon it means Mamamojito is next! Then you Amber so exciting!

swazzee whats the latest??? Keep checking in but am hoping you are busy being in labour or snuggling with your new arrivals.

holidays2010 · 21/11/2010 13:11

I'm noticing alot of girl arrivals, no boys yet?

hippy3 · 21/11/2010 16:05

well HELLO !! have not been on for a week. Had the most relaxing time in Wales and was spoilt rotten. Just what the doctor ordered.

jenz those weights were massive !!! congratulations...

Went for another scan this week. My smaller baby has now caught up and although it is still VERY slightly smaller the doctor said it is nothing to be concerned about. However one has less amniotic fluid now.. The doctor told me that I also have something special called amnio aretiral something ???....Basically its abbreviated to AAA.

It means that there is an artery in me that divides the blood supply between the two equally. And therefore that I am less likely to develop TTS. Which is great this is why he is not concerned that The one has more amniotic fluid. I am back in next week to see if it has righted itself.

However he seemed really positive that it would not develop into TTS. Smile and that he was just taking precaution. Seems that Im not destined to have a stress free pregnancy.!! lol.....

So I am back in for another scan this week.Oh and just to let you all know...ITS BOYS !!!! am delighted. knew it was from the second I was pregnant, my DP was convinced it was girls but I just had a weird feeling all the way thru.

Hello to all the newbies, and am so glad to be back on here. A week feels like so long to catch up with everyone!

I have also POPPED in the last week, and deff look pregnant now. And honestly am loving it. ! 17 weeks today and I dont think I have felt any movement yet..although when im in bed at night I can feel what feels like air..or rumbling or something.?? so who knows....

Gald to be back. Sorry for the really long post ! Wink

tabbycat76 · 21/11/2010 16:34

Hi peeps - been away for the weekend cuddling and drooling over a friends new addition - 6 weeks old and just simply gorgeous! However, recently I'm getting severe reality checks that I'll have two soon enough - wonder if I'll cope ok as I'm abit of a worrier! She left me holding the baby while she popped out to collect our hubbys from town and I must admit, I did have a split second thought of... oh shit! Hahah!

Massive congrats to Jenzopos by the way - lovely names and great weights!!

I've decided that the tightenings I've experienced lately are Braxton Hicks. They're not painful by any means tho I'm aware my tummy is tightening. Another strange feeling associated with pregnancy, that and having my bladder danced upon by my second twin who's breech.... naughty child! Feels like wind on my bladder!

Does anyone else have the feeling that they're going to deliver early????

Jenzopos · 21/11/2010 18:56

Heya all..wow i'm tired! Still sore...frustrating, not sure how long the discomfort goes on Confused
Managing to breast feed but sore nipples as I often have to try a few times to get them lathed on!
My midwife came and weighted the girls and they haven't lost too much weight. was a relief as Charlotte is a fussy feeder and I was worried she wasn't getting enough. midwife was amazed they have only had breast milk. The hospital were offering top up feeds on the first night which i refused (glad i did my research beforehand!)

tabbycat I never thought id get to nearly 39 weeks!

holidays2010 · 21/11/2010 19:39

Hey all.
I am starting to feel rather large which didnt bother me on my 1st pregnancy but im starting to get paranoid about how big im actually going to get!

Swazzee · 21/11/2010 22:28

Hi all! Just checking in on my iPhone from the hospital so I'll keep it brief for now and update you all with what may be the longest birth story in history when I get to a proper computer in a few days.

My boys were born today by emergency c-section. Adem is 6lb 3oz and Rafi is 5lb 13oz. (Boys at last Holidays!) They're both doing really well and look absolutely gorgeous :)

I'm so happy, despite the hell of the last 4 days I've been in hospital.

thingamajig · 21/11/2010 22:35

Hi all, I'm 23 weeks and pretty big, I'm glad they won't let me go past 37 weeks when I will have either induction or a section depending on their position. Both of them are breech at the moment, so I have 4 little feet dancing on the bottom of my bump. And when I give DD her goodnight cuddle thats another 2 feet kicking me! They better turn round in the next few weeks as I am petrified of having a C section, its bad enough having to have a hospital birth. I had DD at home with no analgesia and that was fine; DH doesn't like hospitals so I worry that he will disappear halfway through.

Congratulations Jenzopos and hope Swazzee has seen some baby action by now.

The next few weeks are going to be pretty busy; we are moving house on 9th December, and its DDs birthday too - I hope to have a party when we have moved in, as her birthday is Christmas day itself. Fortunately we are going to my Mum's for Christmas, so not too much organization needed there.

I need to go to the post office tomorrow to pick up my dream genii pillow - I finally relented and bought one, and the ignored the instructions to leave it in the porch. Hope it will lead to better sleep.

Off to have a cup of warm milk before bed; it might do something for the heartburn, you never know......

thingamajig · 21/11/2010 22:39

Wow Swazzee, huge congratulations. Gorgeous names and can't wait to hear how they arrived. Big boys too, well done.

holidays2010 · 22/11/2010 07:28

Congrats Swazzee! :)

How is it everyone else seems to have their birthing plan all sorted and no one (meaning Dr/midwife) has even talked to me about birthing options?
Confused

thingamajig - let me know how you get on with the dream genii - I was considering buying one myself but my sleep has improved lately so 'might' not need one...

tabbycat76 · 22/11/2010 09:12

Morning all.

Congratulations Swazzee - great names, fab weights, just need the story now! Hope you're recovering ok from your ordeal and that your boys are behaving themselves to allow you to rest somewhat!

I had the weirdest dream last night. I dreampt that both twins were breech and I had two of the biggest heads so well down in my pelvis that you could feel them with your hands and easily move them about. It meant I had to walk constantly like John Wayne because they were soooo huge! I mean you could actually see the size of these heads through my clothing!!! Where on earth did that dream come from?!?

One more week before my 28 week scan - can't wait to see what weights they are. Twin 2 IS breech and I can easily feel it's head in my hands when I prod and poke a bit and it feels a good size so hopefully they're both good sizes!

I wonder if I'll get spoken to about a birthing plan then too....?!?!?

Hope everyone has a a good day!

tabbycat76 · 22/11/2010 09:14

Sorry - error on my dream - both babies were head down!!!! Just having woken up combined with baby brain equals mistakes!!! Hehe

holidays2010 · 22/11/2010 10:43

I dreamt I gave birth at 22weeks the other night! I even asked how it was possible in the dream but apparently it is. It was so wierd oh and I was asleep through labour?!

sassy34264 · 22/11/2010 12:26

Congrats to jenz and swazzee. Welcome to the world little un's. :)

Amberc · 22/11/2010 13:20

Congrats Swazzee - more lovely names! Looking forward to the birth story! 7 more long weeks to go for me. In constant pain with my back and SPD. These weeks will drag Sad
