Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Elf... get some Veet Wax Strips and get DH to do it for you..... thats the only way my legs have been fuzz free since about 18 weeks!!!

Talking of which, must get DH to give everything a tidy up today just in case beanie pops early.... pains are still coming and going so not sure what is going on!!!

BigBumpBonnie · 25/09/2005 17:42

Fastasleep, you going on about your dh and breastmilk, I've now got an image of him as David Walliams in Little Britain, you know the one that still breastfeeds! Tell me he's not like that

fastasleep · 25/09/2005 18:26

DH is not at all like that guy from little britain...ewwwww! No he's all rugged looking cos he hasn't been bothered to shave in ages, he looks like a big grizzly bear or something with a black furry face and a chubby tummy to match lol...

Talking of DH's mine gets more and more horny towards the end of pregnancy and then pests me horribly until I feel up to doing the bedroom thing again afterwards lol.. oxytocin must have some weird effect on him, he does get extra cuddly though... but he's always been a softy..

I'm totally braindead! I can't seem to do anything and I keep just sitting down and zoning out completely... sigh

Redtartanlass · 25/09/2005 19:08

Just want to say Good Luck to NM2B for her C section tomorrow and I suppose I'm too late to wish the same to Moomin, she went to today, didn't she?

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 25/09/2005 19:10

cant beleive that by the end of tomorrow there will be another october baby born in september!!!

Redtartanlass · 25/09/2005 19:13

How many will that be, will it be 2?

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 25/09/2005 19:15

3 in total! Scary stuff!

But then again in about 6 weeks time we will all have dropped and be on the post natal board slushing over our cuties!

Redtartanlass · 25/09/2005 19:21

Oh I don't know, I keep lurking on the Sept thread to see how the overduers are getting on. I was 2 weeks overdue with ds2 and can't bear the thought of being OD again. I wonder how many Septs will end up Octs.

Does that make sense?

ButtonMoon · 25/09/2005 19:22

Hope all are well.....I'm just achey. Not moving now until after baby is born so I feel a little more settled again. Did too much yesterday and had a little bit of spotting last night which scared me a bit. Had the same with DD so didn't bother phoning or going anywhere, will tell MW tomorrow instead. Up most of night with horrific heartburn again...getting through loads of milk at the mo. LOL about shaving legs...I manage to take big chunks out of my ankles when I try to shave mine and as for my nether regions, well, think I'm going for the au natural look to give birth as I can't be bothered with the faff. More babies coming soon then....how exciting! 90% born in the two weeks either side of due date.....the countdown is on!!!!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 25/09/2005 19:22

it does RTL - im keeping a nosey eye on them too!

of the 4 dates me and DH had decided would be boo's birth date, one has passed...

Our predictions were.... 24th Sept, 6th Oct, 16th OCt and 5th Nov - i sure as hell hope i dont get to 5th Nov!!!

Redtartanlass · 25/09/2005 19:29

People always say "lazy girl" don't they. So I'm expecting her to be late, which is very strange considering the whole pregnancy, I've been expecting her to be prem, because of the single artery milarky.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 25/09/2005 19:31

for some reason, i believe this one will be early - just not sure how early.... with all the twinges ive had since friday night, im suprised im still hanging on, but it just goes dead for hours and then i get about 4-5 hours of pains! Driving me insane!

I leave for one day and it takes me half an hour to catch up. But I am bump-less now. Ya-hay. After on-off contractions all day yesterday, baby boy was born at 7.45pm last night. Sadly not at home as the homebirth kit hadn't been delivered yet Weighed 6 lb 9oz and born at 37+1 weeks. Very glad to get him out as had been so uncomfortable recently. Had to deal with panicking obstetricians who were keen to interfere so wasn't the best experience but all over now. No name yet.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 25/09/2005 19:32

WOW EXCELLENT.... OMG, that means tomorrow will be baby number 4!!!

Well done sweetie and congratulations!

Redtartanlass · 25/09/2005 19:34

Wow oh wow oh wow

CONGRATULATIONS.......

Redtartanlass · 25/09/2005 19:36

Did baby end in back to front position? Or was that the probs you were talking about?

Jockey · 25/09/2005 20:16

OMG!!! I really need to keep an eye on this thread. Many CONGRATULATIONS Alterego. Brilliant news!!!

morningpaper · 25/09/2005 20:16

CONGRATULATIONS!!! It's getting SO scary now!!!

Had the most AWFUL pains tonight in Pizza Hut, had to go outside for a walk. Honestly thought I was about to go into labour there and then. Think it was the bucket of diet Pepsi though...

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 25/09/2005 20:20

MP - could be the start!

We need a stats update desperately!!!!

alterego · 25/09/2005 21:28

Half my trouble was I wasn't sure if I was in labour because the pain wasn't much different to the general pain caused by back to back. He was b-2-b to start with but when I asked dh which way he had come out he said he hadn't been watching !

morningpaper · 25/09/2005 21:38

alterego: can't wait to hear all the details - post them soon please! I'm a real birth voyeur!

Elf1981 · 25/09/2005 21:49

Alterego - big congratulations!!
Cant believe that babies are being born thick and fast when we're not in October yet!
Hope I'm next - lovely pains in my sides, back and under my bump over the last couple of hours. Debating as to whether to phone hospital or not...

alterego · 25/09/2005 21:50

I'll try and do it tomorrow. Little man wants feeding and then I'm off for bath and bed. He's great though. He's got a really cute, squeaky cry and a little button face. Besotted already

SusiS · 26/09/2005 06:33

awwww alterego congratulations!!!!!!!
can imagine that you don't want to leave his side
