Oooh good plan - lets stalk her!

flamebat · 28/09/2005 10:37

Amanda - a bit of a random comment, but I was thinking about it last night... your new baby is soooo lucky when you think about it. You have only known of her for 6 weeks and already you have fought for her chance at life time and time again. Some children are born and raised without ever having anyone have that much love and passion for them, so already she is one of the very lucky ones.

xxxx

Chloe55 · 28/09/2005 10:45

I have seeked but can not find, I wouldn't make a very good stalker!

Flame - how well put, in fact you have brought a tear to my eye and what you say is so true. I am sure Amanda will really appreciate that comment.

flamebat · 28/09/2005 10:46

I did seekded too (too much time round toddlers ), but not be finding nowhere. She's like Boo - Hiding again!!!!

Considering this guy is your 'friend' he makes an awful lot of trips up from down south to see you. What a special friend he must be .

Once you are feeling a little less stressed and tired do you want to let me know about coming to see your car. Like I say, I'm in no rush but just letting you know I am still interested

Morning all and welcome to the 2 newbies. I fear for SC safety after reading all the hormonal postings to the poor woman...hee hee.

Tabs I have totally lost the plot with who is having what and when etc...do you think we should do the usual and after all the scans start a new thread with an updated stats?

Amanda - The only prblem with a big baby is it's gonna hurt like a bas!ard! Aww no sorry really, I dunno what it means really.
you know I was harping on about the GTT test and how I didn't want it etc. I asked my midwife and she said the only effect is I may have a big baby...surely they would spot that anyway?

As for frequency of visits, I have my check up every 4 weeks at the min and then a consultant appointment after every scan (this is 3rd NHS scan) because of the birth defect I had. I suspect I will have a few more once they figure I am having a girl.

TicTac · 28/09/2005 11:34

Oh Chloe - I am on a skive today so not on email...sorry if you thought I was ignoring you (if you have sent anything that is!)

flamebat · 28/09/2005 11:43

I thought that gestational diabetes could lead to a lack of fluid around the said big baby too.

And you are a cruel woman with "hurt like hell" with big baby [pokes out tongue] - pretty much squeezin any sized baby out hurts like hell

Chloe55 · 28/09/2005 11:46

TicTac I am trying to skive but so far failing - why won't people leave me in peace, God anyone would think I should be working at work! (I always seem to find time to come on here though

That's a really good link about GD flamebat - thanks.

TicTac - happy to start new thread whenever, but only seems fair that we should wait until we've all had our scans, and some aren't for a few weeks yet. Will put a stats update on (including flavours) once I have SC's though, so you won't need to try and remember everything!

Thanks for link flame.

Tabs - yeah deff wait for all the scans to be in...when does the 3rd trimester start?

Providing we get the all clear next Thursday (scan) it looks like we are going to the baby show and will be on the Sunday! DH, sister & Mum will be there (poss other sister too but don't know) seems like everyone wants a day out! Actually mum and 1 of the sisters live in Surrey so no great shakes them getting there!

3k · 28/09/2005 12:37

That's great TicTac, I will be there on the Sunday too - perhaps we can meet up and Tabs too if she is there that day??

flamebat · 28/09/2005 13:53

I wanna come!!!

Pregnancy seems to make me use the face more often!!!

TicTac · 28/09/2005 14:34

Sounds great 3K...I am sure Tabs was going on Sunday and I think someone else was too.

Can't you come flamebat??

flamebat · 28/09/2005 14:45

Nah, not easy to get to, and no money so it would just be me wandering round moping

and only 11 weeks left in work

Chloe55 · 28/09/2005 15:37

13 weeks for me and only 3 more month ends woohoo!!!

TicTac · 28/09/2005 16:18

Boots are giving 10% discount on cots and have 15% nursery decor (inc Mamas and papas) from today!

All the stuff we are getting is currently in their sale but we really didn't want to get any of it until after the scan! What should I do??

Chloe55 · 28/09/2005 16:20

Buy it! Buy it! Buy it! Sorry, I don't have much willpower. You have had the 4d scan so at least you know things are going as they should be with tictac, I understand you wanting to wait but you will kick yourself if you do!

TicTac · 28/09/2005 16:31

Oh but buying nursery furniture makes it all so real. The pregnancy is not "viable" until 24 weeks so I wonder if I am being a bit premature....

I am such a worry wort with this but if you knew just how much we wanted this baby and how much we never thought it would happen...god it doesn't bare thinking about it but..ARRGGHH
