Hi Popmum - I seem to have everything today which everyone needs to know about. I have been booked in for anti-D by the hospital at 29 weeks. They did this automatically when they got my blood results.

3k · 14/09/2005 15:09

Tabs - I have been looking at some of the postings in the other section and your hospital list was massive!!! Did you really take all that stuff?????

Tabs · 14/09/2005 15:25

No - haven't had a baby yet! That was just a list that I picked up from another forum, that I thought I'd share. At least if you pick and choose what you want from that list then you shouldn't be missing anything!!!!

Frizbe · 14/09/2005 15:53

Tabs what about Soloman? just a thought!
Rachelrog great news re your bubba, you must make a local meet up soon! although when the next one is I haven't a clue!!
Tic tac, wow a girl! fab news can't wait to see your scan when you get back!
Amanda1, yikes 2hrs, your not going to make the ward this time! home birth I presume?
FS, yep cat me and send those photos!

Well we had our 16 week bloods n check today, heartbeat is strong and quite fast, so I'm guessing another girl, but my 20 weeks scan will tell me either way when we get there, also the little blighter is a right kicker....so looks like I'm in for brusied ribs sometime soon!

YeahBut · 14/09/2005 15:57

Have my structural scan in 2.5 weeks and will definitely be asking if they can tell me the flavour. The hospital has a policy of not "looking" for it and if they do give you an "opinion" it is with the proviso that it is only 70% accurate! Apparently they were sued by someone who was told one flavour and actually got another!!! Can't make up my mind what I'm hoping for. I'd like another girl because it's what I know but for some reason, I have a feeling in my water that it might be a boy. Mind you, I thought that with dd1!!! Dh definitely wants another girl. We're both pretty short (5'2 and 5'7) and we have suitably wee children. Dh used to get picked on at school because he was shorter than the other boys and he worries that this would happen to our son if we had one. It doesn't seem to matter if girls are "petite" does it? Anyway, what will be, will be!!

Tabs · 14/09/2005 16:09

Frizbe - think DH and I both like Solomon, but we've ruled out anything beginning with S as it just seems to sound odd with our surname. Thanks for the suggestion though - keep 'em coming!

flamesparrow · 14/09/2005 17:24

Go out for one afternoon and you all appear!!!

Rachel - soo sooo pleased to hear all is well!

Tabs - I only know because its in the books I've been reading

My breasts have actually shrunk! I've gone from an F to an E. They don't look any smaller though so I think its probably just the difference in bravissimo sizing and mothercare.

Completely unpregnancy related... Got my proper wedding photos back today (only had the proofs album before), and I think she's enlarged from the proofs, rather than the negatives - they all look slightly fuzzy I'm gonna get my mum to look too to make sure its not just me, but we might have to argue with the photographer. I only hope she hasn't lost the negatives and that's why she's done it!!!

Frizbe - will CAT you, and then if you email me back so I can email the pics (its all so complicated!) Oooh, or I could just photobucket em and stick a link up on here!

FS, go get em re the photos girl! well out of order, fuzzy wedding photos...grrrr....

TicTac · 14/09/2005 20:55

Cool I found you all! Congrats to those with good results back you must be relieved!

I have bought some mat pants while I have been here and they are too big at the minute even though my jeans are now officially too small!

Did Jua know the flavour of her bubba's or was she going to find out...can't remember.

I have felt loads of movement today, I think she is paying me back for all the pocking she had yesterday!

As for names, we love Daisy at the minute!

Good morning Mums!! I've been away from here for a while and i've missed so much!!

Congrats to all of you who know what flavour you're having.... this is just so exciting! My scan isn't until the 5th October and my dh and i are getting so desperate to know. He currently thinks we're having a girl as my huge bump is more out the sides, and i must admit to feeling somewhat different this time round... but who knows?!
We've had a change of heart again in terms of names... at the moment we love Harry and Caitlin.

I saw my mw last Wednesday as i hadn't seen her since my booking and everything is progressing wonderfully. Peanut is a little on the large side and is showing about 2 weeks bigger than my dates, but it's just a growth spurt apparently. Maybe i should start calling baby brazil nut instead of peanut!!

Anyway, i can't really stop now as my little man is going to nursery for the morning and it's his first time. He'll be fine but what on earth am i going to do with myself for 4 whole hours...

Hope you all have a great day and hope to catch up with you later,
Womba x

Frizbe · 15/09/2005 09:22

Womba I reckon have a coffee/tea/slice of cake and chill out, Enjoy!!
Tictac, like Daisy, dd has a friend called daisy!

Fabulous news Amanda.

Womba - maybe you should buy OK too, to read whilst you're having your coffee/tea/cake break.

Congrats on the results Amanda, you must feel so relieved. Ignore exdp - why do you have to give him proof? Tell him to bllcks! Sorry, had to rant he seems to be giving you so much unecessary grief recently. (Any chance of scanning a Jordan wedding pic? I'm too tight to buy one )

RachelRog · 15/09/2005 12:12

Amanda - had the FISH test where they let you know within 24-48 hours - they send you a bill for £60 but it is worth not having to wait!

We decided not to find out the sex - having 20 week scan in 2 weeks so will see what we feel like then - I always said I wouldn't find out because it seems a bit more special to have a surprise and it takes the edge off it all - but I am SO TEMPTED!!!! I just know I would not be able to keep it secret though as so crap at keeping secrets.... They said the sex is on my maternity notes if we change our minds....nearly rang and asked yesterday...even had the phone in my hand!

RachelRog · 15/09/2005 12:14

Meant to ask if anyone is having/has had the 3D scan. There is a clinic near me that does the for £225 and you get an hour with the consultant and baby on DVD!! Yipes!!

Said to myself and my husband that if all was well with the amnio I would book one.....

Tabs · 15/09/2005 12:23

RR - TicTac had 4D scan this week whilst away - check out her post on the old thread for details.

I'm having one in November when I'm 28 weeks.

I think Chloe is still considering it too.

OP posts:
chloe55 · 15/09/2005 13:01

Yeah I am, haven't booked yet but I will prob be having mine at about 28 weeks too. I've found one for £195 in Leeds and if they don't get a clear result you can go back free of charge so sounds good.

Morgan · 15/09/2005 13:18

Congrats Amanda 1 and also for "rocking" - your dd sounds like a very happy little girl! I hope doing the injections gets a bit easier.

spacecadet · 15/09/2005 13:20

great news on your amnio results amanda with regards to finding out the sex, our local hospital dont tell you

Tabs · 15/09/2005 13:27

Where is everyone today then? Has a mad axeman come along and chopped all your fingers off so that you can't type?

Chloe - spotted your thread on prams. Suggest you have a look in the 'products' section, as there are quite a few pram threads in there that may help.
