mum22soon · 27/09/2005 22:13

Hello

Just joined Mumsnet. Is this still the thread for due Feb 06? Or has it merged into something else? I am due 24/02/06 so thought id join in.

Tabs · 27/09/2005 22:22

Welcome mum22soon. Yes, you've come to the right thread. You've just caught us in the middle of abusing one of our regulars who's found out what flavour baby she is having, but is making us beg before sharing the news!!

We're quite a chatty bunch, particularly during the day, so do join in as much as you have time for.

So, tell us a bit about yourself... Is this your first, do you know what it is yet, how old are you, where do you live....??
Did I mention that as well as being a very chatty bunch we're a very nosey bunch too?

Ha ha. I am 26 This is my second but feels like my first. was only 16 y/o with my first who is now 9. All seems so long ago now so feel like a first timer. I live in Eltham, South London and work full time as research analyst.

I am due 24/02/06 and have my second scan in three weeks. Still undecided whether to find out sex. Only found out i was pg at 10 weeks so just getting over shock and looking forward to it. Have already posted a couple of worries elsewhere on other threads and have had brilliant response. Glad i found it.

mum22soon · 27/09/2005 22:30

Also glad to hear others are drinking Nesquick!! I cant stand milk alone so topping it up with Chocolate nesquick - lifesaver and it helps my indigestion no end.

Morning everyone and a big welcome to mum22.

SC what the hell are you playing at - 'fess up now or else!!

3k · 28/09/2005 08:59

Morning all and welcome mum22!! Good to have another Feb 06 mum to be on here!!

Spacecadet!!!!!! COME ON!!!!!!! We all want to know what it is, how cruel can one woman be?!

My boss is away all week now, so I can have a break and keep up to date with you all although I dont normally have a problem with that!!!

My MIL bought us a baby bath and top and tail set from M&S, it is a standard baby bath and really nice. They do them in wilkinsons for about £3-£4 if anyone wants to pick up a cheap one which is what I was going to do before I got bought this one. We have been buying, ordered cotbed, got given a changing unit and have been picking little bits up in the sales etc. I bought a few things from Ebay like monitors which were a bargain!!

flamebat · 28/09/2005 09:13

Hiya M2S - I'm due 24th too

And I may be forced to track all of you drinking nesquick down and beat you soon

COME ON!!! TELL FLAVOUR!

Chloe55 · 28/09/2005 09:24

Hee hee!

Tabs · 28/09/2005 09:27

flame - has your date changed - I have you on stats as due 23rd?

Talking of stats, I'd do an update if only I had the flavour to add to Spacecadet's entry.

They changed it by a whole day for the last scan, but seeing as they cocked it up by a month with DD, one day doesn't bother me

poppyh · 28/09/2005 09:36

Hi all,
thought Id say hello.Im due on 3rd March, but after 2 c sections, will be having baby some time at end of Feb.So thought Id say hello.Have 2 kids.DS whos 11(I was 19 when I had him), and DD who is 2 and a half.Live in South London. My Ds was born 12th Feb and DD 24th Feb, so hoping im not booked in on either of these dates.

Chloe55 · 28/09/2005 09:37

Hi Poppy, Wow you've got some spending to do on birthdays in Feb!

poppyh · 28/09/2005 09:41

I know, and it will get worse!!

Frizbe · 28/09/2005 09:49

Hi to Poppyh and mum22soon!
Tabs, dd had very dodgy hip,(genetic on my side!)so they stuck her in a pavlik harness and told me I couldn't take her out of it, not even for a wash for the 1st 3 mths but she's luckily ok now, the harness did its job after 6 mths of it, and she didn't have to have an op, or go into plaster (thank the lordy!) Fingers x'd this one doesn't have the same probs, although I am expecting it at least now!
SC come on tell us!

Welcome Poppy, Wow this thread is growing loads.

Still no news from Spacecadet!

Chloe55 · 28/09/2005 10:12

We might have scared her off, I'm gonna hunt her down on different threads and interigate her until she breaks
