yellowtomato - I will be 37 this month Grin

I'm still cramping and generally tired, thirsty and starving!!! And nearly cried at Aiden's performance on X! Lol! Grin

wonnaywombat · 17/10/2010 05:22

Morning all! Any new symptoms overnight? Still no sickness but still wishing there was - mad, I know! Boobs definitely growing still and I think today's wearing of my slimmest fitting shirt will be the last - didn't realise there was such a gape til I got in the lift at work! Shock

Weird dreams keep coming - last night was all about the labour which has now got me into a bit of a panic even though it's miles off and there's still these dodgy early weeks to get through....

petitech and iammrsjones - a gentle enquiry - how are you getting on today....?

Welcome to loulajoe, loopylougarou, sarice and greenandblack!

star82 - I admire your patience.

Wishing you all a lovely Sunday full of yummy roast dinners!

knackered76 · 17/10/2010 08:24

Morning all!

I seem to be waking up at 4.30am every morning and then desperately trying to go back to sleep until one of my mini ones comes in. Needless to say am much tired, not to mention the bugger of a headache I've had for a few days and can't shift Angry. Oh well, onwards and upwards (or hopefully horizontal at some point today in a bed with no children around me!).

Star82 - -sorry the scan only worried you. If it helps, the early scans I had in my healthy pregnancies were always out with dates and estimates. It's just really hard to tell so early and even 1mm makes a huge difference to everything. Try not to worry about it too much and keep yourself occupied until the next scan.

Greenandblack - welcome and congratulations! It's the joy of having had at least one already that makes us expand at a scary rate. I spent the whole of yesterday with my jeans undone as I couldn't do them up Blush. Am planning on spending today in my dressing gown and then I don't have to worry about it :)

Sarice - congratulations! Where do you live? (thinking jealously of a warm climate with beaches!)

Cameli - it's really hard not to get wound up about things, something that our darling other halves will never fully appreciate! Good news on the heart beat, that's a major hurdle crossed. I know it's easier said then done but try and relax and enjoy the pregnancy :)

cep - I felt nothing in my first 2 pregnancies and the products are currently watching cbeebies!

theQuibbler - I often get confused whether DH is being an arse or I'm being emotional, I tend to go with the former Grin

Happy Sunday ladies!

DeadBodyofKaraStarbuckThrace · 17/10/2010 08:49

Morning everyone!

Sassamax - my SIL said the same thing, or that it might be twins ShockGrin

Would love a girl, but wouldn't mind a boy as ds is utterly adorable :)

theQuibbler · 17/10/2010 09:18

Morning all,

Feeling better this morning, hope it lasts for a bit. Symptoms do come and go at this early stage (I'm only 6+2) so I'm just going to try and give myself a break from the worrying Smile

Good idea for a dressing gown day, knackered76 - that's what I did yesterday, and if it's possible, I do think it can help when you're feeling less than fabulous.

Star82 - it is so tricky this early on, even a few days make such a difference to what they can see. It's good that you get a scan in a few weeks, I'm sure you'll get a much better picture then.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday. I've got to get the little one ready for school again. He only started a few weeks ago, and it was a bit wobbly. Now he has had all last week off because of chicken pox...I suspect there are going to be a few tears in the playground tomorrow Sad

LDNlady · 17/10/2010 09:44

Good morning all. I hope you're all well.

I appear to be having all kinds of fun at the mo with discovering a cyst on my left ovary on Thurs after lots of pain to not being able to poo thanks to not being able to eat as I feel sick. Husbands Nana promises me that things do get better but at only just coming up to six weeks all I can see is annoyances ahead!! :o

cep · 17/10/2010 10:04

Morning All,
Thanks for your words of support i'm sure i'll be fine when i've seen the dr tomorrow.

All of you that have had scan's already is that because of problems before?? Or because you asked for them?

The quibbler my dh is always an arse and then i get blamed if i get annoyed at what he's said. Now i'm pg that's only going to get worse. Angry

yellowtomato · 17/10/2010 10:06

Morning everyone

Star82 Hopefully you were just way too early and all will become clear when you have your next scan.

Still not really symptoms here...only 5+1 but am getting desperate for symptoms! I kind of have a bloated stomach but it does seem way to early to not be able to do up my jeans.

Hope everyone is ok today.

broughthimroundtotheidea · 17/10/2010 10:14

Hi girls, happy sunday!, well I went out last night and sober was no fun! just made me look down my nose at everyone having fun when normally I would be beating them all in the fun stakes.
Well after dancing last night my boobs are KILLING this morning!!! That is still my only symtom although I did gag when feeding the pesky cat this morning!
I cant do my jeans up now! which may be down to the fact I am eating so much, I keep thinking enjoy it now cause if this PG goes like my previous 2 i will lose weight due to MS.
I have zero experience with early scans, so I can't offer any advise I'm afraid, although I wouldn't look at what they said as negative at all x x x

DeadBodyofKaraStarbuckThrace · 17/10/2010 11:02

Grrr am so annoyed! I had 3 of my team lined up to call for coaching sessions, and the 1st 2 weren't available! 1st one was working (and she had changed the appointment to this morning, which makes it doubly annoying!), 2nd one had to take her little boy to hospital so she has a decent excuse at least! Hope the 3rd one id there when I call her!

I could have done with lazing on the sofa this morning!

Am craving strawberry milkshake for some reason....

featherblue · 17/10/2010 11:04

Morning everyone! Welcome to the newcomers. How is everyone feeling?

Cep and yellowtomato I was symptom free too, but I'm 6+2 today and symptoms seem to be ramping up a bit. Still have sore breasts and am very tired, but have been having some stomach issues. Just uncomfortable undecididness between (sorry TMI) constipation and, um, the opposite! Just belly unhappiness in general.

Am also slightly nauseated this morning. Not too bad. Maybe it'll stay at this level?? Grin

broughthimroundtotheidea I know what you mean about going out. I'm kind of desperate to go out, as I'm finding myself really bored, but we've been keeping a low profile since I found out (except for one wedding). I will have to tell my close friends immediately when we go out, so we've been trying to stay in and keep it a secret. I would love to just go down to the pub with everyone, but I imagine I'll be bored quickly when I do and am not drinking. Ah well, I'll get used to it I suppose!

Oh, and I'm 31, so I guess I'm sitting on the stairs of the bus too!

moomin156 · 17/10/2010 11:08

Morning everyone, hello to anyone I haven't met yet, welcome to the group. Well 6+1 for me today and not a sympton in sight, although I was starving yesterday. Told my parents yesterday, tears all round. And text my sister a picture of the BFP.....feels good that they know. Spent yesterday wondering how we are going to fit all the baby things in the house.....
Well I hope everyone has a great Sunday....roast beef for me x

theQuibbler · 17/10/2010 11:59

Oh dammit, just damn it.

I'm getting some not very good signs - watery brown discharge and a bit of bleeding. No cramps yet, but am just going to have to wait and see. This just sucks....
Wish me luck.

moomin156 · 17/10/2010 12:07

Oh Quibbler, I'm so sorry. Fingers crossed for you....xx

yellowtomato · 17/10/2010 12:07

featherblue I am also having tummy issues WARNING TMI coming up. I used to go everyday now it's only every other day and the day when I don't go is very uncomfortable, very bloated to the point of not being able to fit in clothes. Quite painful too. I have bought lots of prunes and just hoping it doesn't get any worse.

I keep waking up early (well 7am which is early for me at the weekend) and then feeling really sleepy again by lunchtime. So annoying when I could have just slept late instead.

I also know what you mean about the not drinking, it is so not fun to watch other people get drunk. I am also avoiding close friends because they would know the minute I didn't order a large glass of wine that something was up. No excuses would cut it.

moomin156 · 17/10/2010 12:08

Oh Quibbler, I'm so sorry. Fingers crossed for you....xx

yellowtomato · 17/10/2010 12:09

Quibbler just seen your message and sending sticky, positive vibes to you. Fingers and toes crossed and will be thinking of you today.

Keep us posted, hopefully it is nothing, people do sometimes have a bit of bleeding and it means nothing.

Try to rest and look after yourself.

Igglybuff · 17/10/2010 12:15

quibbler fingers crossed for you x

wonnaywombat · 17/10/2010 12:17

Quibbler - thinking of you lots and sending +ve thoughts x

wonnaywombat · 17/10/2010 12:19

yellowtomato and featherblue - I'm hearing and sympathising.... I've been advised that keeping up the fluids (water especially) is v important especially when increasing your fibre intake - the doc explained it to me as things getting like concrete if there's not enough liquid to soften it....

pozzled · 17/10/2010 12:23

Fingers crossed for you Quibbler, hope all is ok.

DeadBodyofKaraStarbuckThrace · 17/10/2010 12:48

Quibbler - hope you are ok Sad

moomin156 · 17/10/2010 13:08

Well I'm having the opposite issue with the bowels......think its all the fruit juices I'm drinking instead of wine

sasamaxx · 17/10/2010 13:25

Hope you're OK Quibbler and it's a false alarm.
