Star82 and Moog, I have increased discharge too. So with 3 of us it must be normal! Also not really any other symptoms except for just now had a bit of cramping a bit like a period pain. Hope it isn't!

I am trying to resist buying any more tests, it is so difficult though isn't it when you just want reassurance?

Hello moomin I am 37 and on my first as well so we can be the old birds! Grin

PercyPigPie · 13/10/2010 17:34

Has anyone not got any symptoms at 6+1? I had, but they have gone Sad.

Btw Yellowtomato, I think even after a miscarriage you would test positive in a pregnancy test for some weeks, so no real point in testing again.

petitech · 13/10/2010 17:40

Have scan 1030 tomorrow fingers xd

StarflowerGirl · 13/10/2010 17:53

I'm in the same situation as petitech today. I've had some spotting on and off since early this morning but had little to no cramping. I've just seen a GP who has arranged an appointment at the EPAU for me tomorrow at 11:45. In the meantime I'm under orders to rest and put my feet up.

petitech Best of luck for you tomorrow!

Star82 · 13/10/2010 18:05

Oooh, goody!!! Must be normal ish then.

I have also been spending loads doing tests still. I seem to be justifying it by thinking it will give me more of an idea how far along I am. I've been getting the digital clearblue so distantly hoping by noting the dates it changes from 1-2 to 2-3 I might be able to pin point it. No idea how accurate they are though so probably just wasting my time and money.......but it's keeping me occupied for now :)

Yarnie · 13/10/2010 18:18

To anyone worrying about lack of symptoms, I hardly had a symptom until the third trimester last time round, and even then it was only heartburn! It was quite boring!

Yarnie · 13/10/2010 18:19

And for those that are spotting, I also had quite a large amount of bleeding on two occasions, proper red blood and everything. I now have a sturdy 19 month old boy.

PercyPigPie · 13/10/2010 18:23

Yarnie - thanks for reassurance.

I've always had symptoms before though(3DC and miscarriage)- surely one pregnancy wouldn't be so different (am very hold, hence very worried this time round).

MoogHasNoBrain · 13/10/2010 18:25

Yellowtomato and Moomin - I am 38 so joining the old birds gang!

tar - Ihave been doing that too with the Digis - I am on 2-3 weeks now...

MoogHasNoBrain · 13/10/2010 18:26

That was Star, not Tar - sorry

moomin156 · 13/10/2010 19:00

just trying to catch up on all the posts.....only got to page 8 and feel like i have missed so much. Hope to finish reading them all tonight so i can feel that i know you all as some of you have been on here for weeks. Feel light a proper newby :)

Star82 · 13/10/2010 19:10

Yes me too. Says 2-3 at mo. It changed to that fri/sat so will try again this sat. Doc appointment tomorrow. We moved to a new area mid august and hadn't even registered at a new surgery until finding out last week gave me the nudge!!!

petitech · 13/10/2010 19:39

Starflower hope it goes well for you too x x x

moomin156 · 13/10/2010 20:03

Yellowtomato and Moog thankyou for calling me an 'old bird' LOL, makes me feel so much better!
Have all the same worries as everyone else, completely terrified of something happening and with hardly any symptoms its even harder. Have resisted doing anymore pg tests other than the 5 we did on the day AF was due ( plus a control test when DH did the test just to check they werent duds!!!!) so i am now at 5+5 and 10 days late for AF. According to site EDD 11th June.
Fingers crossed for everyone and i have a feeling you will all provide me with lots of support.
My thoughts are also with all those that have left the thread.......

moomin156 · 13/10/2010 20:26

actually Im 5+4.......must be pg brain already :)

GoodVibrations · 13/10/2010 20:44

IamMrsJones Good luck for the scan on Friday. My scan is Friday aswell so I will be thinking of you!

petitech and starflower what a worry for you both. I too have friends who bled early during pregnancy (and my cousin bled throughout the pregnancy) and they were fine so try to stay positive (easier said than done I know). I have everything crossed for tomorrow x

Welcome to all the newcomers!! I have lost track of everyone but I'm so pleased that we have such a big group.

8 weeks today for me :)

BrassicaBabe · 13/10/2010 20:59

Hi
I "joined" earlier in the week but didn't get much of a chance to post. I'm an "old bird" too at 37!
I'm 6+6 now. (Although not sure why the docs add on 2 weeks Hmm)
I've had bleeding for a week before I found out I was pg. I also had a "period" the week before that. So by the time I even tested I was 6 weeks gone Grin
I've not got any symptoms yet either.

Am I the only one missing alcohol?! I could murder a glass of wine Grin

moomin156 · 13/10/2010 21:36

I thought i would really miss my wine so had a glass on Sunday with my meal and to be honested i didnt enjoy it that much. I am going down the 1 small glass occassionally wont hurt route.....and that helps. If i thought i couldnt have a glass for weeks i would be too depressed. DH has also stopped drinking so that helps

petitech · 13/10/2010 21:50

Thanks for the reassurances yarnie and goodvibrations, ill let you know how I get on tom. Have felt so weird today like in limbo, was odd too as ended up telling my boss as I couldn't concentrate for worrying at work. Luckily he was great just says get yourself to the doctors. Night night all x

BarbieLovesKen · 13/10/2010 21:57

Star and LDNlady, huge congratulations and welcome.

LDNlady, am so glad that you said your nipples are killing you (actually that sounds really mean, Im not happy obviously that your in pain) but everyone is complaining of boobs, not nipples and mine are killing me. Thought I was quite odd there.

To everyone complaining of lack of symptoms, plllease try not to. I know thats easier said than done but I honestly know loads of people who only knew they were pregnant because of expanding stomach (I for one, felt soo normal with dd that didnt even discover I was pregnant until week 8!!). Also, try and enjoy the lack of symptoms Wink I am completely miserable with all day and night nausea again, back pain and exhaustion! cant believe this has started so so early. Am wondering if its anything to do with two pregnancies being so close together, as ds is just 8 months?

IamMrsJones so glad that you had some reassuring news and that things are looking good. Will be thinking of you on Friday morning xx

broughthimroundtotheidea You sound soooo much like me - worrying about work when come on! what on earth are you feeling guilty for?? you really shouldnt be, you are more than entitled to have a baby for Gods sake!!! try not guilt yourself - its not good for you (I know from experience), motherhood comes with enough guilt Grin. Hope your ok though. Know how horrible work concerns can be, I think more so when your bringing a small person into the world, you worry about providing.

featherblue looked at maternity clothes????!!! Im in them over a week now!Shock Sad I know its ridiculous so soon but maybe its because its my forth pregnancy (3rd baby) and ds wasnt so long ago - damn stomach muscles are shot to bits. In all seriousness though, I look very pregnant. Tis very strange really. Dont know how Im going to be able to hide it for another 5 weeks.

Moomin156 - completely normal! from my understanding its everything stretching and moving about, getting ready to accomodate baby Smile

Star I definately had that discharge too - on all of my pregnancies.

Oh petitech and starflowergirl am so sorry to hear your having a hard time right now. Hopefully, it all will be fine (which is often the case!!) will be thinking of the both of you tomorrow morning. In the meantime, think feet up and relaxing is definately good advice for you both.

Oooh goodvibrations 8 weeks!! Smile dont know why, but thats a little "landmark" date in my head - 4 weeks left sounds like so much less, plus it means your over the 2 month mark and 2/3 of the way through the first trimester.

Brassicababe, they add on the two weeks as not everyone is as certain of their date of conception. They therefore date everyone from the first day of their last period to make it as accurate as possible, most ovulate mid cycle so its basically saying in total your 40 weeks pregnant when actually your 38 weeks (very bad at explaining, hope that makes sense)

Hope everyone is well - sorry this was soooo long but have completely lost track of everyone and am trying my best to catch up!!

moomin156 · 13/10/2010 22:04

Thanks Barbie.....

Star82 · 13/10/2010 22:28

Thanks Barbie.
Actually, come to think of it, a few weeks back my nipples went huge and i wondered what was going off. They didn't hurt but just grew in length and circumferance which i thought really bizarre at the time but makes sense now.
I'm now nervously awaiting the increase in boob size :( Normally a DD but went up a band width and into an F last time. So uncomfortable and one of the things i dislike about pregnancy, but at least i kept all the hammock bigger sized bras from last time so shouldn't need to buy any more.

wonnaywombat · 14/10/2010 05:52

Hi everyone - it's so reassuring to read that everyone is having the same anxieties and questions as me so thanks for sharing stories / solutions. My latest thing is to give me boobs the odd poke to make sure they're still tender - trying not to do it in public though! Blush

I have one blocked ear at the mo which is v annoying but I'm certain nothing to do with the PG! Grin

I'll add my name to the old girls' club too - 37 - and my first.

Wishing everyone a symptom-filled day!

petitech · 14/10/2010 07:54

Starflowergirl how are you doing today? x

wonnaywombat · 14/10/2010 07:57

And how about you petitech? x
