Loopymumsy Thanks for the MW advice. I don't think I'll have a problem with asking for a different MW, the only trouble is we're very rural and there isn't much choice! It's important to get it right though isn't it when you're at your most vulnerable!

Hi have been invited over here as unsure about preg tests but have done 3 and all v faint but there IYSWIM.

I have not been on in a few days and the tread has really filled up!

Im just totally uncontrolably tired and just fall asleep and theres nothing I can do to stop it! Feel asleep in the car on a 2 min journey.

I am meeting the Midwife on 30th Sep and looking forward to it to get some questions answered and check im doing the right thing!

By MN dates im due 16th May and this will be my 1st.

Have finally agreed with the tests that I am pregnancy so added myself to the back. Added cowboylover too.

"..I am pregnancy.."???!!! my pregnant brain has kicked in already!

Well, I was stuck at work yesterday, so DH rang for EPU and doctors for me. The EPU said I was too early really for them to do anything, and that I should be okay, but if I get any pain that I have to go straight to A&E and get referred that way.
Its just really frustrating! I am trying not to think about it too much, the whole not knowing drives me a bit loopy.
In general, feeling okay, very, very tired, a bit iffy, and a little emotional. Just hope the m/w doesn't take too long to arrange a first appointment with me.

Im sorry that things are not being resolved for you iheart, it's so frustrating. Are you still spotting?

Well im so pleased to report that my scan was absolutely fine this morning :o Was so shocked when sonographer told me she could see baby's heartbeat, i could hardly breath due to the build up of anxiety beforehand. I had absolutely convinced myself that i had had a mmc. Am over the moon. Dated me at 8+2 so new due date is 27th April.

Thankyou so much to all your lovely messages of support. It really helped me get through last couple of days.

Well, my boobs feel like they've doubled in size overnight and are now aching like mad....so you were right Zinnia! Hope everyone else is doing ok and welcome to all the newbies.

Congrats MummyWilliams and Yorkstar, so pleased for you both. Iheart hope you're OK, must be so frustrating.

Hatstuff I would just like to make it clear I didn't wish any uncomfortable symptoms on you!

And nice one with the scan dates, Loopy, great idea. Am delighted to say that I can add some of my own, take back everything I said about my PCT, have my booking appt on Tuesday week (at 8 weeks) and 12 week scan booked in for 21st October, bang on time. Even better, the MW venue has moved since my last time to just around the corner from my flat (pity I'll probably have moved half a mile up the road by the end of the pg, but them's the breaks). Glad I bothered going to the GP now.

Sorry I have not been around, I am afraid I am going to be leaving you all. Started bleeding on Tuesday and a scan yesterday confirmed that bean was no longer with us. :(
I hop eyou all have lovely healthy pregnancy's and enjoy your bundles.
I am being kept very busy with my 3 year old, so he is keeping my mind off things. Unfortunately we cannot try again for a little while or the due date would coincide with some big upheavels for dh at work, so I am out of the ttc game until next year now :(

loopy it says on scan notes that cause of bleed is unknown. Sonographer did say it could be a implantation bleed that has traken a while to work its way out or a little cervical erosion. Im not sure, have not had anymore since Wed so have my fingers crossed.

Also, as im officially over 8 weeks, apparently they count todays scan as my dating scan and its unlikely i will be able to have another on one NHS until 20 weeks. Seems ages now. I have my booking in appointment on Wed so will chat to mw then and see if i can wrangle a 12 week one too. If not i will sweet talk dh to pay for a private one inbetween just for reassurance.

Not too long till your scan now though and fingers crossed for MrsChemist on Sunday

Is anyone suffering sickness yet?? Im not suffering full blown sickness yet like last time, but have completely lost interest in food, and am now seeing it as fuel and forcing myself to eat, instead of obsessing about chocolate and food constantly.

i have read through but finding it very hard to remember names - my pregnancy brain has well and truly kicked in

however, i wanted to say sorry to tummytickler for your news - so pleased you have a lovely toddler to keep you busy and you have some time to get yourself together before trying again next year.

for now, will just add my name to the list while i remember. no scan date sorted yet, but booking in is in four weeks. feel twice as knackered and sick and sore as i did yesterday. Am trying hard not to complain though - that's my mantra this time round - I second the person who said just being pregnant is a blessing.

yorkstar I echo what loopymumsy has said with regard to having the nuchal measurement.

I'm not exactly sure of dates, but there is a very small window of when this measurement can be taken, I think its between 11 & 13 weeks not 100% positive. So if your local hospital does these as standard (check with midwife/doc) then you should most definately be offered another scan.

At our hospital we have the dating scan together with nuchal measurement. Then have all the bloods (maternal screening - triple test etc.) done on the same day - the nuchal measurement & blood results are combined to give you your complete result.

Gosh! that all sounds garbled I hope it makes sense.
