Calling The Viroids - Just Shagging Graduates!

Just thought I'd start a thread for all those JS graduates, whether a newbie graduate or even if you left us a while ago and are well on your way. Would be good for us to keep in touch, see if we're all staying 'sane'. Grin

Don't know about you ladies, but I am still filled with the overwhelming urge to PIAR (that's POAS for all you older graduates - after you left us we went a little mad and started harnessing the power of the ramekin!) I think once you start the habit it doesn't leave you!

Well, it's good to know that the Just Shagging method works. Even if we did once in a while just cheat a teeny tiny little bit! Wink

milano I posted on the other thread. Glad you are feeling a little better today. Lots of hugs for you Sad

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 05/11/2010 16:51

Never thought I'd be as happy to eat a bacon sandwich as I was this morning. Even better is that DH made it for me and I got to eat it in bed.

I also have a very fetching support belt to wear around my hips when I'm out walking. Gosh this pregnancy thing is sexy!

firefrakkers · 06/11/2010 07:55

Ohhhhh bacon sandwich Can't get decent bacon here.

Hope the SPD isn't too painful, NMCB!

How's everyone else doing?

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 06/11/2010 08:34

It was gooood, and I'm not usually a fan of bacon.

The SPD isn't to bad, but if I don't work at it now, it'll be hell when I actually get a bump!

Off to the inlaws for the weekend, so we'll be telling them later today. Wish me luck.

Hope everyone else is going good xx

gormers · 07/11/2010 11:08

A good idea to get yourself breakfast in bed - for weeks my OH was getting up before me and delivering breakfast to me, eating before becoming upright is a godsend!! And if you're anything like me, you'll eat whatever it is that will stay down - I tended to have little fads of foods for about a week at a time, before that made me sick too!

However, haven't (properly) been sick since early in the week now - so am hoping that I might now be safely out the other side. Hope it goes quicker for you nmcb!

Went to our first NCT sale yesterday - what a madhouse! Couldn't believe the queue to get in!! Got a couple of bargains though.

Oops, spoke too soon. Having taken some paracetamol for a horrible headache, I've now been sick for the past 3 hours! Aarghhhh!!!

OP posts:
frakkinup · 09/11/2010 12:37

Maybe you have a paracetemol intolerance, gormers?

Get it checked if you do because it seriously can be life-changing when you find out!

BrassicaBabe · 15/11/2010 08:16

Helllooooo. I'm back! Hopefully here to stay this time! Tested BFP on Wednesday. AF was due sat/sun and still BFP! Could be, would be due 23rd July.

Blush Any tips for what to take for constipation? I seem to be a big bunged up! Not very glamous for my one and only pg symptom! Grin

frakkinup · 15/11/2010 08:23

OMG! Congratulations Grin

Prune juice?

I'm sure other symptoms will arrive :) then you'll be wishing they hadn't!

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 15/11/2010 09:55

Think it's time for some new bunting.

Prune juice was my suggestion too. It's yuk but gets the job done. (Hmm sorry about that)

BrassicaBabe · 15/11/2010 10:19

Gonna try and keep the preggo talk over here. There are quite a few pg viroids over on the JSing thread at the moment and I want to tread sensitively.

Got a stinking cold too. Will give the prune juice a go. thanks.

nomore when did you stop POAS? I've been PIAR since Wednesday each morning. I have lied up my (internet cheapie) sticks on the windowsill in order watching the line get darker! GrinBlush The desire to PIAR shows no sign of going away yet! Grin

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 15/11/2010 13:34

Blush guilty as charged on the JSing thread front.

I got over the whole POAS thing very fast as I refused to have any sticks in the house after the initial testfest. It was a superstition thing from the 2 CPs as with both of them I had had a spare test in the cupboard both times. Daft I know. Grin

BrassicaBabe · 15/11/2010 18:23

Cold has progressed. Been in bed since 2pm. Think I just had a near death experience Grin

frakkinup · 16/11/2010 08:43

Hot lemon actually worked wonders for my cold/virus thing. At least I have an excuse not to take medicine now! DH is always complaining that I refuse to drug myself to the eyeballs when I have a sniffle and now I have the perfect excuse...and will have for as long as I manage to BF so there's an incentive to keep going with it for me!

BrassicaBabe · 16/11/2010 09:22

Feel a little better today. Yesterday it hurt to walk or move. Every joint was on fire. Today I'm just full of snot! Grin

So far pg symptoms appear to be constipation and thrush! Hmm Glamorous eh?!

Wasn't pointing at you or anyone nomore about JS thread. Grin Was just mindful that our preggo number has recently increased.

Oh, and I'm still PIARs! Just the little internet cheapie ones, so I have a nice little graduated line when I line them up against each other. You can see the BFP getting stronger!

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 16/11/2010 11:50

Hmm at you interior decorating Brassica

Haven't the energy to post more, just feel sick and hungry. Roll on the end of all day sickness! Grin

gormers · 16/11/2010 11:54

Whoop Whoop BB- congratulations!!!!! I PIAR every few days until seeing my GP at about week 6 - the obsession takes some time to go! Sorry to hear about your cold, take it really easy as simple viral things hav hit me pretty hard since being upduffed, and taken longer than usual to go.

Had a few bad days in the past week but generally vomiting is much much better, and the constant nausea has gone - it just tends to hit suddenly and hard now instead!

So, I was on nights at the weekend and things were fairly quiet. I have an ultrasound machine for any emergency scans that need doing out of hours - nothing related to gynae scans, and my machine has a completely different set-up to abdo/pelvis machines. However, I couldn't resist having a look & it was good enough to get some pictures of bump and it was some lovely one on one time with just me and bump. Lots of kicking, bit of thumb sucking and a lot of hiccups going on!! Managed to record some of it whilst scanning on my iPhone to email to DH. Guess I'm really lucky to have an opportunity to be able to do something like that, it's like a continuation of PIAR - wanting to check that things are still ok! Although movements are becoming a bit clearer to feel now.

NMCB - hoping that you're not suffering too much with sickness, you have all my sympathy if you are!xx

OP posts:
gormers · 16/11/2010 12:00

Oh no, Cross post NMCB - seems like you are definitely suffering, so sorry! Hope you're DH is taking good care of you, above everything that was the thing that helped me the most.x

OP posts:
NoMoreChocBiscuits · 16/11/2010 13:11

Thanks Gormers. I took my mind off it by vacuuming the flat and eating some chocolate. At least I'm not throwing up to often (although lets just say it's a good think I had a thick plastic bag when I was in the M&S food hall yesterday!).

How's the cold BB? Getting better I hope

BrassicaBabe · 16/11/2010 14:16

nomore are you about 6 weeks? Or has time flown faster than I think? Poor you for the chucking up.

The cold is just snot today! The painful joints has gone.

Nice one for the sneaky ultrasound gomers Grin

BrassicaBabe · 16/11/2010 15:01

Off to do a supermarket run....dried prunes on the list and I'm going to work my way through the alcohol free lines too.

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 17/11/2010 17:51

Good to hear the prunes are doing their work BB I'm still swinging from one extreme to the other .

6 weeks! Noo, 9+2 today. Please don't wish another 3 weeks of feeling shite on me!

How is everyone else? Growing nicely I hope. Are those bursts of stealth MS going away yet Gormers?

takethatlady · 17/11/2010 18:49

Oh hello ladies, I didn't realise the thread was still full of posts!

bb I totally agree about being sensitive on the other thread. It's hard because I love posting over there and catching up with everyone, but I really don't want to overstay my welcome or depress people who are properly JSing.

But this one is running great, I see!

So hello!

Sorry for the blocked noses/arses and the puking Grin

BrassicaBabe · 17/11/2010 19:33

Blime that went quickly nomore. Well probably not for you if you've been puking it away though.

So other than the girls who haven't made the trek over yet, I'm the newest at 4+3. Where's everyone else? takethat you must be about the same at nomore?

I've dipped in and out of the July thread. But it doesn't feel like home Grin

Eisberg alcohol-free rose wine anyone? [we need a puke face]

BrassicaBabe · 17/11/2010 19:58

Oh, and I need to track down the twunts who harp on about feeling "soooooo much better in the morning, and sleep sooooo much better" without alcohol the night before. They lied! Grr!
