Calling The Viroids - Just Shagging Graduates!

1002 replies

gormers · 13/08/2010 19:57

Just thought I'd start a thread for all those JS graduates, whether a newbie graduate or even if you left us a while ago and are well on your way. Would be good for us to keep in touch, see if we're all staying 'sane'. Grin

Don't know about you ladies, but I am still filled with the overwhelming urge to PIAR (that's POAS for all you older graduates - after you left us we went a little mad and started harnessing the power of the ramekin!) I think once you start the habit it doesn't leave you!

Well, it's good to know that the Just Shagging method works. Even if we did once in a while just cheat a teeny tiny little bit! Wink

takethatlady · 20/10/2010 18:13

Hey! I think I'm one of your tentative BFPs! All the shagging paid off and I am preggo again. I don't know exactly where I am. Somewhere in the fifth week. Got a BFP last Thursday and my only symptom is boob-achage, prompted by regular boob-pokage.

But I've made it almost a week from BFP so that'll be 2 days longer than last time. Think I'm going to wait to go to the doctor until next Thursday, when it'll be two weeks since BFP and I won't be far from week 6.

Conceived in a 9-week-odd cycle [hshock] so I am petrified things will go wrong - everything you read says you're going to miscarry cos you've got 'geriatric egg's and a crappy lining.

Praying the blighter holds on. Congrats to all you lot and your sticky sticky beans!

takethatlady · 20/10/2010 18:16

Oh you guys I've just been reading the thread. So relieved to hear the JSing is difficult to keep up! I am being totally paranoid and avoiding JSing even though I know it does absolutely no harm.

I just want it to stick and I don't want a big ol' penis ramming it out of there [hblush]

I know that is mental. Have NOT told DH this and will obviously have sex soon enough. [hgrin]

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 20/10/2010 18:31

GrinGrin[hgrin] TTL. Penis's can't get that far in. Hehe I dare you to put that on the June thread.

takethatlady · 21/10/2010 07:36

Ha ha - why do you think I'd come here [hgrin] The JS threads are the only place I can go to tell people the mental real things that go in my head [hwink]

frakkinstein · 21/10/2010 12:16

I actually found JSing painful due to size

It seems my cervix has dropped and there just isn't space for the kind of positions we used to enjoy! So I was actually quite worried repeated ramming (PMSL) would hurt it!

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 21/10/2010 12:41

With DS we became 2 position wonders, so really I should be shagging DH as much a poss before I'm banished to on top full time agian (sorry TMI). Just to tired mostly.

takethatlady · 21/10/2010 13:33

Yeah, on top is a drag Grin. It's so much work!

I guess I'll go for a non-ramming kind of shag and see how it goes Grin

milanomum · 22/10/2010 13:57

One of the reasons I starting thinking I was pregnant is because it started hurting during JS-ing! I think non-ramming is going to be the way forward :o
we are right about the same stage TTL Can we freak out together about small signs which might mean the worst? Pleeeaaassssseee? For instance, Nips don't tingle like they used to. And I don't 'feel' pregnant goddammit. I don't want to be sick but I'd like a comforting niggle at least.

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 22/10/2010 15:53

I have a pubic symphsis problem already!!! Just back from the physio with what I thought was a muscle strain refusing to heal only to find I have a pregnancy hurt that I got before I was even trying to get pregnant!! Confused
This really is going to be a looong 8 months. Still perfect excuse for no on top activity [hgrin]

How's everyone else these days? (beyond sexless)

takethatlady · 22/10/2010 17:01

Hi girls. I might be about to exit this thread for a second time. I have really weird, sharp abdominal pains around the top and sides of my abdomen and I have 100% lost all boob tenderness in the space of an hour. They had been fluctuating in tenderness but always tender. Now nothing. Not even with extreme poking.

NHS Direct say I have to go to A&E to check it's not an ectopic. I'll let you know what happens. DH is on his way home but as I have the car he's got to get a lift half way, then get a bus into town, then a bus back out. It's annoying as the guy who's giving him a lift practically lives next door to the hospital and drives almost past our house, but he's not entirely sure of the directions and doesn't want to get lost so he takes DH half way every Friday. DH too polite to ask him to make an exception today, even though the guy can follow us from our house to his as we go to the hospital.

frakkinstein · 22/10/2010 17:25

Oh no TTL! Thinking of you.

NMCB is your physio sure? There's a lot you can do in terms of preventative measures if you catch it early including specialised ante-natal physio.

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 22/10/2010 17:52

Frakk my physio is about 95% sure. I saw the ante-natal physio and she consultated with a regular physio (as it's a pre pg thing) and they are both sure it's PS. So at least the ante-natal physio can proceed as normal. It's a nuscience, but at least it's been caught early so they can keep an eye on me.

TTL have responded on other thread.

frakkinstein · 22/10/2010 19:31

I read that most damage from SPD is done before diagnosis and that can take ages so if they're sure that's good cos they'll be looking out for you. PITA (literally!) though as you'd probably rather not have it at all.

takethatlady · 22/10/2010 22:38

NMCB I don't know what that means. Is it any risk to you?

Went to casualty. It was wind Blush Grin Smile (embarrassed and relieved emoticon). Still in a bit of pain with it but they did my bloods and I told them I was 5 weeks pregnant. They said my HCG levels were 'nice and high', that it's definitely not an ectopic, and that loss of symptoms doesn't mean anything. They were really nice about it, and gave me a urine test and an ECG and did my blood pressure and all sorts. So relieved. Need to stop stressing now. What will be will be.

Blush - so neurotic!

milanomum · 23/10/2010 08:07

:o

frakkinstein · 23/10/2010 09:14
Grin

It's nice to be comforted though - and now you know it's not ectopic and you're fit and healthy!

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 23/10/2010 10:15

GrinGrinGrin That's the best news TTL Guess we all just needed to hug you a bit harder.

TTL the PS thing is to do with the relaxin hormone making all the ligaments in the pelvis (and every where else) go all loose and unsupportive, causing pain in the groin area. Mine started before pg (think from wrestling our push chair around on uneven foot paths at high speed), but because Ive been pg twice before this time recently my poor body has been hit with up and down hormone levels and not been able to heal. The good thing is because it is a pg problem I can be treated accordingly and not have to wait for a year to get treatment for a non-pg problem.

Have a good day lovely viroids. Mwah!

takethatlady · 23/10/2010 11:57

Oh nmcb that sounds harsh. Hope you're not in too much pain. Try not to get wind too-that's fucking painful and defo won't help lol!

Glad you can get the treatment you need. Like the sound of the pushchait races you seem to have been involved in!

Miffles · 23/10/2010 14:36

Hey viroids - I'm just sticking my head round the door to see the graduates...

Want to know there's somewhere cosy to come when the time comes.

Pleased to hear you're all doing well. Save me a space (but keep it on a low rent as it may be a while yet!)

milanomum · 24/10/2010 14:02

NMCB I've heard of that and that it's really painful so hope it doesn't get worse! I only have a really sore point near the base of my neck which kills me if I sit at a computer for more than 10 mins since getting pregnantConfused

Do you get Tourtel beer where you all live? It's alcohol-free and just as nice

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 24/10/2010 15:22

Milano, this morning I had to sit at the computer with my trouser fly undone Blush My stomach's not any bigger, it's just tender.

Oh my nasty sister was telling me about these Oztop things that you use to ferment a 2 litre bottle of juice. It's so hard lying to my family! I'll have to look up this tourtel stuff as my DH can't drink but he does miss having the occassional beer.

Looking forward to you joining us soon Miffles Grin

gormers · 25/10/2010 08:34

Hello ladies!

Been ages since I posted, so a big catch up needed first.

NMCB - congratulations on your sticky bean! Hooray!! Glad all is still ok with bean, although sorry to hear about SPD.

Takethat - Hooray!!!!!!! Massive congratulations!! So pleased for you! Got really nervous catching up on the thread, but delighted to hear about your wind!!

Miffles - hello!! Come join us soon!!

Am still being very sick - no sign of abating yet. Hit the magical 16 week mark this weds, would love for it to beautifully disappear at that point! May be a bit optimistic!!

OP posts:
takethatlady · 25/10/2010 12:53

gormers sorry you're still puking up! It's a puke free zone over here but I'm only about 5 weeks (I'm now going for 5+1 in the absence of any scientific evidence) so I reckon I've got a week to go.

I did feel sick when I sniffed some gone-off milk this morning though [hgrin]

What is Oztop?! nmcb is educating me in all things pregnancy-related at the moment.

DH now believes I'm pregnant because my boobs have gone up a cup size. Having always said he thinks my boobs are perfect, he now gets a flagpole in his pants every time he sees me topless. Men!

milanomum · 25/10/2010 13:34

LOL at your man! ttl
gormers I didn't get morning sickness at all last time but it must be really tough. I am torn between wanting it, to feel I'm actually pregnant, and not wanting it. Confused I've only had the occasional wave of nausea over the past 3 weeks.
nomore is that like a beer-type thing?

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 25/10/2010 14:04

Oztops are very Un-pg (hence calling my sister nasty for talking about it, though to be fair she doesn't know). They're for turning fruit juice into a sparkling fruit wine.

You're both very lucky for not having nausea etc (though TTL's gas sounds a bit yuck Grin). No actually throwing up yet, but dry retching this morning so it's only a matter of time. Gormers with DS my MS didn't abait until well into the 4th month and couldn't brush my teeth til he was born. Fingers crossed you start to feel better soon.
