I had my appt with the GP on Friday, he thinks I am 8 weeks not 4, which would explain why I feel so pants already!

So not sure if I should be here or there yet!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 26/07/2010 20:25

oh matumble I'm so sorry

shitforbrains - wow that would be good to leap a month ahead, how exciting!

I have been shattered today, managed a nap when DS slept this afternoon.

kitstwins · 27/07/2010 10:03

Hello,
Have found this thread (had no idea they existed on here!). I got a positive result yesterday! My third pregnancy (twins in 2006, miscarriage in 2007). My due date looks to be around 7th April although I'll need this confirmed I suppose. Had a shocking pregnancy with the twins and grim caesarean delivery so I'm hoping this one will be easier. I love being pregnant though!

stuffedmk · 27/07/2010 11:02

Oh no matumble sorry to see you go.

I upchucked this morning which I have never done before in pregnancy, have had nausea but never anything more.

shitforbrains · 27/07/2010 11:39

So sorry matumble

My DS was born April 2 last year - just about made it past April Fools as was overdue. Have just found out I am 6 weeks so due end March, although if like DS, it could be late and be another April baby. Fingers crossed as had two m/c in the last year, so hoping this one gets past 10 weeks.... I am so unbelievably tired though, so hopefully a good sign! Good luck to you all too!

Snowfalls108 · 27/07/2010 19:37

Hi all,
Welcome!
So I've been off scaring myself by doing conception indicator tests which haven't been increasing.
I reckon I must be at least 5+3 days but the test is still showing me as 1-2 (or 3-4 weeks) which got me all in a tizz. There seems to be lots of threads on here saying you can't rely on them so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm going for a scan on Thursday so hopefully we'll see something then.
I've had a bit of nausea but nothing like I had with DS. Hoping thats not a bad sign.

shitforbrains · 28/07/2010 12:13

Hello ladies, I had an early scan giving me an EDD of 14/03/2011!

So I am decamping and joining the March thread.

Very best of luck to you all x

oo - shitforbrains - I'm so jealous!! 2 weeks on.
Fingers crossed for me tomorrow please!

Snowfalls108 · 30/07/2010 11:49

So scan wasn't great. No sign of a baby.
However the sonographer has said that is probably because it's still early days. I had a blood test yesterday, and I'm going back for another tomorrow so they can track my hormone levels and make sure it's rising and I haven't had a mmc.

Hope everyone is well.

shitforbrains · 30/07/2010 14:29

snowfalls, sorry to hear that - fingers crossed the blood test results are positive x

Hello everyone,

I'm tentatively marking my place - BFP this morning but I hardly dare believe it.

I have a very active 23mo DD who wears me out at the best of times(tho prob not as much as kitstwins!). DH and I have been TTC since just before xmas. I think i'm 4 wks pg

Motumble and Snowfalls - so sorry to hear what you're going through x

Shitforbrains - sorry to see you go, you were making me giggle.

nuttysquirrel · 31/07/2010 21:19

Hello all!

I'm another tentative joiner, my EDD is the 4th April, but has a MC at 10 weeks in November so not getting too excited yet. I'm 38 and it feels like its taken ages to get a positive......my DS is just coming up for his 3rd birthday, so hoping that this one sticks as the age gap is just getting bigger......

grinningbee · 31/07/2010 21:37

Good luck April ladies! I'm an April 2009 graduate and it is a fab month to have the littlies.

Dd is now almost 16 months (where did the time go???), and I'm 25 weeks along with her brother!

Good luck again!

NotAnotherNewNappy · 31/07/2010 22:25

Does anybody have any symptoms yet? Apart from being knackered - it seems that all of us are mums already(?) so it's hard to tell if that's a symptom or just normal life!

I seem to be crippled with indecision and am craving ikea meatballs (I ate billions of them with DD1).

Also - when are you planning to get back into your maternity clothes again? I was thinking tomorrow. Would that be too soon?

Petalouda · 01/08/2010 18:26

Hello folks, can I join you?

I did a test on thursday (29th) and to our surprise got a BFP.

Haven't seen the doc yet (booked in for next thurs) but t'internet is telling me I'm due 2nd April.

First time for me. After a shaky start, I really hope all goes well. Went to see friends yesterday and ended up feeling utterly horrendous and asking them to stop talking about the food they were eating! DH reckons it's too early for any of that nonsense and it's all in my head. He's wrong!

Anyone found that food has no taste (except acid or salt). Couldn't taste black pepper at all this morning.

livviloo · 01/08/2010 19:34

Hello to all. I had a BFP this evening. I am due 1/2 april. This will be my 3rd. I have a 10 and 8 year old already. Slightly anxious about the big gap.

dasha · 01/08/2010 20:52

Hello! I just found out this week - due mid April. So excited, and nervous like others here. I had a ms before our ds but am feeling curiously positive this time - seem to have some good symptoms going on, so that's reassuring.
We've been trying since Jan so it's felt like it's taken ages, and suddenly here I am and I'm thinking 'yikes, why was I in such a rush?!' Ds is 18 months. I feel like I've forgotten everything.
We spent the afternoon coming up with names

Ulysses · 01/08/2010 21:03

Hi Ladies - can I join in?

I just tested today and its a BFP with an EDD of 7 April. Have DD who is 4 and was thinking that she'd be an only so there you go.

Quite gobsmacked, wasn't trying but not, not trying either. Am truly delighted though as is DH but he has health issues so the timing probably isn't the best but all the same it's marvellous.

Not sure what to do now. Don't plan on telling family for few weeks yet, think they'll have mixed feelings too.

Still stunned actually. Am away to bed cause I'm so tired, but just wondering if this is just due to not being able to eat today. No symptoms otherwise but keep having the dragging feeling. Test defo positive though, 2nd line came up straight away!!

NotAnotherNewNappy · 01/08/2010 22:32

Welcome and big congratulations everyone

I popped into New Look today to look at the maternity range - they had a massive sale on and I picked up lots of pretty t-shirts, trakky bottoms and jeans for under a tenner each.Scarey how big they all seem now but I bet it's not long before they start to feel snug. Get thee to your nearest New Look, ladies!

We'll be pg over winter so I reckon I'll need more clothes than I did last time (summer baby - got away with a few tent dresses). Though everybody says the extra blood in your system keeps you warm so light layers are good.

Now I'm off to look at buggy porn phil & teds on ebay.

I've got the mad rush to get everything organised aleady - I've already started thinking about what foods I can freeze to eat the first few weeks after the birth

Petalouda · 02/08/2010 07:56

Morning everyone.

Just popped in for a moan, really!

I didn't realise that being pregnant was this painful/uncomfortable so early on. How on earth do people go through this without noticing?! I've got a lot of cramping - not as strong as AF, but a dull, persistant ache. And I can't take any ibuprofen for it!

I've just given in and taken 1 paracetamol. If anything goes wrong now I'll be devastated.

Anyone know how long this will last? Apparently I'm in week 5.

Thanks.

disneystar1 · 02/08/2010 08:15
