You are not being selfish - you are just missing your brother - when I went onto the group I just looked at all the faces of the kids who grew up with my Matt - all adults, some now parents and I sobbed at the thought of my lad not being amongst those faces - thats why I have changed my profile pic on FB...it just seemed right xx

Ye the 19th is when my brother was killed and theres 1 hour and 1.15 minutes between the times so it got me a bit. It must be weird seeing that even though you know IYKWIM? He's ever so cute. Deffinitely be a stunner. I've changed mine to my bro and ds, not that you can see ds's head lol xx

Ye it is she saw the group and joined and offered to help which is fantastic. Im on overdrive with it db has said i should be an organiser with all the suggestions im coming up with and how we could do those things. Charity is really pleased and touched that i have said we're doing something. That would be great, could you send me a sample begging letter for local companies please xx

crumpette · 22/02/2010 15:47

hi..

so I went to the post office today to post some parcels

and I had DS in baby carrier

and the 2 guys were joking with me and then one says ' this is your second right?' so I said, yes it's my second.. and he said'who's looking after your little girl?' so I paused and was like errm... and they both laughed and said 'ooer new baby brain, that's a bad sign if you don't even know who's looking after your kids' so I said, um, actually she died last year

and there was a huuuuuuuuuge queue of people behind me and I wanted to run away, and they both looked so awkward and were just like 'oh you used to bring her here..'

I eventually scuttled away and was watched by all the people in the queue and the neon freak sign was flashing brightly over my head.

Sorry lovely ladies I just had to let someone know! God I hate this x

shelleylou · 22/02/2010 16:02

ohh sweetheart. Thats an awful thing to happen at least you didnt run away you fought that reaction. i know its hard but they acknoldeged you DD. Its a shock reaction on thir part its cogs turning 'what do i say what should i say and so on'
i had a simlar thing at a night out. A barman told me he knew my brother asked which 1 and it was Matt, worked in puib he used to drink in a lot. I stood there sniffling and told him what had happened then promptly burst into tears

travellingwilbury · 23/02/2010 07:39

I am not surprised , I am sure all will be well but it is a hassle you and Dee could certainly do without .

I presume you have had no more contact with her and she has deleted her facebook now hasn't she ?

shabbapinkfrog · 23/02/2010 08:36
