morning girls x

lottiejenkins · 08/09/2008 08:08

Morning all... back to work for me today after seven weeks off!! Dont wanna go... I went to another wedding on Saturday... it was lovely. I had my sister and some extended family with me and Wilfs godmother which was great too. One of Wilfs friends was the bridesmaid. We have a christening coming up too later this month, my friends daughter Faith. Am looking forward to that too. We have a lovely church and a fantastic vicar Fiona, we are truly blessed to have her, she has six parishes to look after!!

shabster · 08/09/2008 09:27

OMG Lottie - having to go back to work is not good.

Sounds like you had a lovely weekend.

Tom has PE this morning. First time they have done PE at high school. In every lesson he is in the top set and is really bright but he is, quite possibly, the most unsporty kid I have ever met!! Cant stop thinking about him and hoping he enjoys it.

Did anyone see 60 minute makeover today?

shabster · 08/09/2008 20:23

Usually watch it but DH wanted to watch some kind of sport on one of the sport channels [boring pig emoticon]

OP posts:
chegirl · 08/09/2008 20:25

I was on it

shabster · 08/09/2008 20:27

WOW was it your house they made over? I always wanted to know if that is a genuine programme

OP posts:
chegirl · 08/09/2008 20:28

Yep. Its the first time I have seen the actual prog with me in it. It was lovely and they talked about Billie a lot which was nice but not in a soppy way. I am glad its all over tho!

shabster · 08/09/2008 20:32

OMG thats fantastic - have they shown it before? If you find out if they are repeating it will you let me know?

Its good to see you on here. How are you doing?

At the risk of you all thinking Im barking mad I have seen Matthew today. I was working in the kitchen and I knew someone was watching me. I quietly turned around and for a split second he was leaning over the bannister and grinning - then he was gone. I just said 'come back soon love I miss you.' I wasn't frightened at all but it did make me jump.

chegirl · 08/09/2008 20:43

Oh Shabbs you are not mad at all. I am glad you got to see your boy x

Not been wonderful lately. Bit fragile and confused if you know what I mean. Just like to drop in and see how you guys are doing. Not very good at posting much though. I am sure will be back to my usual gobby self soon.

I hope everyone is getting by x

shabster · 08/09/2008 20:45

Know what you mean when you say fragile. Every day seems never ending when you feel like that. Dont think this crappy Summer - weather wise - has helped anyone at all.

Sending a love from Bolton. Dont be a stranger Chegirl

You are so flipping sweet I could cry. Specially as I just put some stupid bloody 'true movies' channel on just as it was showing a stupid made for tv film about a teenager with cancer. Cancertainment dontcha just love it!

Mean it though. This thread is full of proper people x

shabster · 08/09/2008 20:51

Will forever be grateful to Feedmenow for carrying on Eris' thread when she must have felt at her lowest. Im passing on the 'thread baton' to Lottie when we get to 1,000 messages. It has been a real honour to be able to name the thread.

You are 100% correct - this is a thread with proper people in - all walking the crappy road and holding each other up every day. All will be well....all will be well xxxx
