Hi all. Bit of a manic last few days so haven't been on, so lots to catch up on.

Nice to see you all chegirl and mel. It IS hard to keep up, especially when you have such huge things on your plates.

Trips, it's lovely to have you pop in. I think of you and wonder how you and dp are doing.

Shabs, wonderful news about Beth, and lovely piccie of Em and Lewis.

Lottie, "bringer of peace"?!?! Don't know what to say

I miss getting drunk! Went to ex dp (father of dd1) and his wifes bday bash yesterday (they share a birthday! How sweet....!) and got to watch lots of friends getting drunk whilst listening to music that reminds me of getting drunk!

Hi all, Have had a lovely day with Leah, took them both to our local museum. Have just fed Wilfred again, he has a bottomless pit for a stomach at the moment!

lottiejenkins · 01/09/2008 11:36

Im looking forward to hearing "baby news" We have borrowed my bosses black lab for the day, we have just a lovely walk through the woods and fields with him. I have been sorting Wilfs clothes out ready for the return to school on Sunday.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 01/09/2008 12:46

Well, I like to move it move it, but this flippin baby seems quite happy where he is!

I've just got back from the osteopath who is treating me for a sore arse (well technically my sacrum is a bit wonky because of the pregnancy, but the pain feels like I've been kicked up the arse )

It feels a bit better already and I'm seeing her again on Thursday, so all should be good for the birth.

Lottie - how are you feeling about Wilf going back to school? Mixed feelings I bet?

I'm now off to bake a cake (bake a cake) as my mil has given me a load of victoria plums off her tree. I need to do something with them otherwise I'm just going to sit here and trough them and give myself a wicked stomach ache

hazygirl · 01/09/2008 12:51

hi girls hope you are okx

feedmenow · 01/09/2008 17:17

Hi everybody!

No sad posts here today so thats a good thing!

Ilike, maybe if you move it a bit more you'll entice the baby out! Go clubbing or something!! Do the Time Warp....a few pelvic thrusts should do the trick

Is everyone else glad the holidays are so nearly over? I think it's gone really quickly and I don't feel like I've spent much time at all with the children I took them to London today though, and we went on a Duck Tour. It was surprisingly really fun!

lottiejenkins · 01/09/2008 18:44

FMN......... I took Wilf on the Duck Tour about 18 months ago! It was fine until we plunged into the river and smoke came pouring out of the front of the boat! I was TERRIFIED!!! The first thing i thought was which side do we swim too.??.. then how the hell did they tell you to put the lifejacket on??????? On top of that theres my dear Wilf coughing loudly at the smoke as if hed been smoking sixty fags a day!!! All turned out ok... it was oil fumes from the sump...... not something i would wish to go through again!!!

feedmenow · 01/09/2008 19:25

Sounds like an adventure Lottie! You should have known that if you took Wilf it would result in mayhem!!

shabster · 01/09/2008 20:48

'Wilf goes on the duck tour' (another title!)

Hi shabster, I'n not too bad, hows things with you ???

Had a nice day today with a friend and her ds (a little bit of normality!!).

Dad is ok, just that, not too good, but not too bad. I am hoping to take him out for an hour Thursday if it ever stops raining !

feedmenow, sorry I am ashamed to say "thank god the six weeks are over" my two have drove me crazy, fighting constantly. The six weeks hols always make me feel like a totally shit mom. I feel like I should be doing lovely things/days out when in reality I just seem to be shouting all the time !!
Sorry confession over, please don't shoot me down, am feeling fragile !!!

Goodnight all

shabster · 01/09/2008 21:10

know exactly what you mean Yorkie - the summer holidays from school are toooooooo long. xxx

OP posts:
frasersmummy · 01/09/2008 21:20

hi everyone

how are we all ...

I had a bit of a wobble after talking about Fraser on here so went into hiding until I felt strong enough to come back with a smile on my face

we were off work last week and did loads of fun stuff like going to the zoo, the beach, the science centre and the swimming pool

It was nice just to spend quality family time.

3 weeks tonight I will be in a nice quiet cottage in the highlands.. I am looking forward to that ..

moveit do you reckon this means I am going to miss the big announcement???

shabster · 01/09/2008 21:36

Glad to see you back darling

OP posts:
triplets · 01/09/2008 22:16

Yorkiemom........totally agree, apart from the summer of 94 and 95 this has got to be the worst summer ever, kids driven me demented, poorly husband and just very fed up!

mel1981 · 01/09/2008 22:20

Hi all. Hows everyone?
Yorkie dont be ashamed ive been feeling exactly the same. I cant wait for Hayden to go back to school -but he will be off to BIG school so its a bit scary (for me!) he cant wait. Im gonna be lost with only Rhys to look after.
shabster the pics are LOVELY.
Well, my FIL got his results today (sort of) he has got chronic lymphocytic leukaemia so he has to be refered again to Heamotology dept before he can get any more results. so its still the waiting game im afraid.

triplets · 01/09/2008 22:29

Hi Mel, its a rotten time waiting on results, since Jan thats all we seem to have done, hope their is hope for him xx

mel1981 · 01/09/2008 23:19

Thanks triplets.... I hate just not knowing and know mil & dh hate it too. I feel so useless sometimes cause i dont know wot to say or do, but at the same time I know all I can do is be there.

shabster · 01/09/2008 23:20

You are very right Mel - very right. Always be there fighting for your family xxxxxx
