Good grief! I've been away for days again! (training this time! Not actually AWAY, but away from my normal routine....)

Ilike, will say no more about pelvic thrusting!! Instead, lets talk about "visualising" your cervix opening like a flower......

Shabs, cheeky beggar! No kiss for you?? But when I first read it I thought you said he hadn't waxed, not he hadn't waved

Dippy, lovely to see you! Sorry your dh is having such a crap time. I have to say, i can't even begin to comprehend how any of you with loved ones suffering from cancer cope the way you all seem to. I truly have a hell of a lot of admiration for you all. Not that that means a thing in the grand scheme of things I suppose! Given a choice between my admiration and your beloveds health I know which you'd choose!

FM, just waiting til 22 week scan. I can't believe this one will work and am just waiting for each hurdle to be told there is a problem. Also, don't know if you saw I posted a couple of weeks ago about new antibodies I have which can be problematic (yet MORE reason for me to worry!)

Although on a positive front, I have a friend of a friend whos 3rd dd was stillborn nearly 2 years ago and she's just (last week) delivered her 4th dd by c-section! baby was early (36+2 I think) because they have all been early and her 3rd was around the 36 week mark, so she couldn't wait. Baby seems really well though. Went to SCBU routinely as she was under 37 weeks, but she weighed over 6lbs at birth which I was amazed about!

Goodness, I must be having a hormone surge! Just reading all your posts from the last few days and chking me up a bit! Wise words from children, our LO's growing up, brave strong people......

Not drunk but just though I'd saw "I love you all!"

Hi and welcome to the thread Boop.

Sorry to hear you're having a hard day today. It's strange how the sadness we feel can come out of the blue.

Stick around and meet some of the other ladies, they're all fab

By the way, if you don't mind me asking, what are yur twins names?

hazygirl · 05/09/2008 17:48

hi girls hope you are all ok,its raining so much here its awful, bigs hugs to everyone and shabs cant here lewis cos amelia has found her voice and omg shes loud ,bless her.

feedmenow · 05/09/2008 19:14

Boop, having one beautiful twin must remind you all the time of your other beautiful twin though. Such a mixture of emotions...so bittersweet. Are the twins identical? Come by whenever you have a sad day.....

Hazy, is Amelia loud happy or loud yelling? Anything in particular happened or just a vocal little girl?

Shabs, just popped on to Yorkies thread. Felling rather sad now. It hurts when a friend hurts I suppose, even a virtual one.

Hows everyone else doing?

shabster · 05/09/2008 19:36

Going out for a few hours my friends.

Boops - welcome to our lovely thread. So sad to hear about your bubba - I have had twins and lost one when he was 7 months so I have a good idea what you mean. Will come back on and have a gab tomorrow if you want?

Thanks girls for posting on Yorkies thread - it all sounds too sad for words doesn't it?

In case Im too drunk to post when I come home just wanted you to know that I LOVE ALL OF YOU

frasersmummy · 05/09/2008 21:45

Welcome aboard boop

You'll find this is a really nice place to say right out loud that you are feeling sad ..

Its hard watching one child grow up and wondering how the other would have grown up isnt it. I find it hard and my sons are 1 year apart. I imagine its twice as hard when you lose a twin

move it how was the studio tours .. were they ultra nice to you to stop you going to the tabloids

shabster · 06/09/2008 00:36

hiya girls. Yorkie - you dont need to thank me. This is a wonderful place to meet and exchange views, experiences, and relationships.

I am forever grateful to FMN and ERIS forever happy and pleased that we all found each other. LOTTIE we havent many messages to go until you take the baton from me. Cant wait to see what you come up with. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi all..... got back last night. I am not allowed to say much about the trip as we had to sign confidentiality clauses! We met Nick Park though and he has done Wilf a signed drawing!!! Am thinking Shabs about what to call the new thread............

shabster · 06/09/2008 13:47

I have really enjoyed naming Eris' thread - it feels like a real honour. Also love seeing my sons names on the thread title.

Everybody OK?
