A few months ago I posted about a very close friend of mine whose nephew died at 2 years in a duckpond on a caravan site.

I am utterly distraught at reading through that website. How unbearable??

Have forwarded it on to everyone I know. I'm going to give ds and dd an extra big hug now.

It is Matthew's birthday on Monday. He would of been 3. It is a really difficult time for us and putting our engergy into his website and the petition is really helping us to stay as strong as we can. IF you haven't already signed it please do and tell all your friends and family.

just another bump - hoping that someone hasn't seen it. We are still awaiting an inquest date but after that the petition will be delivered to number 10. Mumsnet support is very encouraging.

MMM - Have you seen that RoSPA are fairly active in water safety at the moment
link here although not specifically in the area that you are pressing for, but at least it is raising the profile
