A few months ago I posted about a very close friend of mine whose nephew died at 2 years in a duckpond on a caravan site.

The family have now organised a petition to campaign for safer public water attractions. They'd be very grateful if you could sign the petition \link{http://www.matthewmarsden.co.uk\here}

Perhaps because its Christmas, I have been thinking about Matthew's parents quite a bit...

Anyway, I have sent an email around the Romsey NCT egroup to alert them to this website, and I have also emailed Miles Mendoza (he is the guy who does website of the day on Steve Wright's radio show) to see if he would consider mentioning the website to get potential signatories.

I didn't have any problems with the link when I first signed the petition a few days ago. If you want to sign it Dreams, just type www.matthewmarsden.co.uk

Typing it in directly doesn't work either. I guess their website server is down

It must be.... I'm not keen to try it myself as I am at work in a shared office, and the website has a sound track so it would be obvious to my colleagues that I am not working.

Try it again later - it should work

The server was down but is now back up and running. Thank you all for your on going support. Mumsnet has made a huge difference to the petition and has also introduced me to a fantastic website.

I thought that you wrote a beautiful poem for Matthew on the website....

Is there anything else that we can do to help with the campaign? Perhaps write to MPs to see if any one of them will consider a private members bill?

What a beautiful child - so immensely sad at your loss . I was incredibly moved by your website. We call our little Matthew, Matty Moo - so it was especially poignant.
