My beautiful baby girl was born at 35 weeks. She died aged 19 hours. I don't know how we get through this.

I’m so very sorry for this devastation. Do you have anyone with you? Please ask for help and support from anyone and everyone who is close to you.

I am so sorry, it is heart- breaking. My baby sister died at 10 days old and I still grieve for her.

This is the number for SANDS 08081643332 there is a lot of support and information to guide you through the next few weeks and beyond.

Also look at Loving Hands website. They have people that make tiny gowns and I have a friend who makes beautiful woven baskets for them. I have seen photos of them when she first started to weave them and they are special. There are special photographers linked to SANDS who will take photographs. We never had a photo of my sister and I wish we did. So take some photos.

Can I just make a suggestion?, ask if they have access to a "cuddle cot" it enables you to take her home for a few days so she can be with you at home users say they were very helpfull at that time.

I'm very sorry for your loss and understand how devastating this is for you. My baby daughter died 20 hours old 8 years ago. It was devastating and life changing.

I have a happy life now but in those early months I didn't know how to breathe. I found incredible support in my local sands group and from some others I met through the sands forum. You will get through this but right now it is about survival. Every hour at a time, going with your feelings.
