Night gorgeous, you did great today, bloody great!!

I have to say that YOU wonderful lady have been amazing today, you smiled when you had to, cried when you needed too, laughed at times, rolled your eyes at times, wondered how you can get the hell out of talking about thread veins etc Grin

YOU ROCK! You did it and you are awesome.

Night gorgeous. Squidges to the girls and CDCs family too xxx

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 01/06/2013 00:09

She's right (again tsk!) you do rock.

And you are a rock for everyone around you.

Stay in that lovely bed tomorrow, don't even think of trying to "get anything done", you're nuts, just flop.

Can't think of anything that hasn't already been said. You are amazing.

Sleep, sleep, sleep zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

...passes paracetamol, large glass of orange juice and packet of tissues

PacificDogwood · 01/06/2013 08:00

Oh no, your dream is just too cruel Sad; makes the cold seem rather like 'normal' shit IYKWIM (did you know that minor illnesses are more common at times of stress as stress affects how effective the immune system works pointless sciency bit to try and distract from horrid dream.

Hot drink with lemon juice and/or honey
or
Beecham's/Lemsip
and
steam inhalation with menthol/Vick's/Olbus oil

TrinityRhino · 01/06/2013 08:06

hey pacific
I've taken a beechams

and I have a plan

ex wife has a dog show to go to and her partner wants to borrow lolly pup
Ive said yes as long as they look after my baby....

so pup will be having fun and someone else will be looking after her
I'm going to make up packed lunches for the little ones in a min and pop them in the fridge
then when the are ready for lunch they can grab them themselves ( they actually love to do that lol)

so then once braekfast is made, kids are dressed, washing up is done and washing moved on, I am going to stay in bed and veg out

laptop, telly, books, chocolate biscuits, ice cream, cuddly toys, snuggles from my girls

Sounds like a superb plan Smile - you enjoy.
And hope you feel better soon (in every respect).

I am off to Loch Lomond now - eeek, wetsuit

greenhill · 01/06/2013 08:13

That sounds like an excellent plan. Your body needs to recuperate from all the stress and it is telling you to slow down by sending a special, snotty message to your head.

I'm so impressed that you can even think of doing all the other practical stuff first

TrinityRhino · 01/06/2013 08:14

hey beer
she might bring back, craziest fruit-loop dog rosette Grin

pacific, wow, loch lomond in a wet suit, what are you doing?

OP posts:
TrinityRhino · 01/06/2013 08:16

thanks green
I dont want the house to slide, I feel so much worse when the house starts to look unloved, messy and full of crap

so little bits at a time to keep us on top
doesn't take too much effort and makes everyone feel better

don't get me wrong it is by no means a show home but its never going to be a candidate for how clean is your house EVER AGAIN

OP posts:
PacificDogwood · 01/06/2013 08:21

What am I doing in a wetsuit? - mainly trying not to bloody freeze to death Grin.

DSs have been swimming in the Loch for about 4 weeks now and every now and then DS4 (3) needs to be rescued which involves me having to wade in . I fish him out, his lips are blue, he is shivering, covered in goodbumps with teeth chattering, me: are you cold? him: no Grin. Nuts!

We have a Canadian canoe which I enjoy, but getting in and out is wet at times even if I don't fall, so wetsuit is better than v cold water. It's fine once I've got all my lumps and bumps in there... Blush

TrinityRhino · 01/06/2013 08:23

lol we have a canoe too but our sea out the back is fairly calm quite a lot

and we dont have wet suits so swimming we dont do lol

Do you know what, Trin, your loopy dog and your kids and your friends (RL and MN) and your committment to them all, is what will get you through this. Again.

I never managed to see you with some of the MNer who organised trips to help you out after Neil had died (I think I was a bit postnatal), but it is so clear from your posts that you have a core of steel now that you did not have then.

Good Housekeeping is good for the soul - aiming for the cover of Architectural Digest is madness.
Everybody is clear and fed - that'll do for today IMVHO.

clean

PacificDogwood · 01/06/2013 08:27

Thanks, Beer Grin

I'm off!

Squidges all round.

greenhill · 01/06/2013 08:29

Oh yes, the Kim and Aggie show, I used to hate it when she'd put those pristine acrylic nails into a grill pan full of lard and go "the dirty beggars". The message was always look how much cleaning we can do with only 20 cleaners and 10 skips of rubbish taken away...unmissable Grin

LottieJenkins · 01/06/2013 08:45

Oh Trin............Bumbledog has competition in the dog show stakes! Hope Pup gets on really well and brings home a rosette or two for you!!! Grin...............

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 01/06/2013 10:52

That's a fab plan, sorry about the snots though. I'm certain it's the release of stress from you holding it all together for the last three weeks.
Sure Lolly will love her expedition and return with big red rosettes.

Pacific I do't know which horrifies me most, climbing into a wetsuit or climbing into a canoe, but doing both together nononononono!

We have Carnival outside our house today from 12 - 6, they close up at 6 in order to avert the drunken revelry - it fails miserably!

Really well done again yesterday Trin, you played a blinder as we all knew you would.

TrinityRhino · 01/06/2013 14:21

now I'm missing Lolly pup
never not seen her the whole day
feel silly but its weird to let her go off with someone else
