Afternoon lovely. :)
That sounds like an excellent plan. Your body needs to recuperate from all the stress and it is telling you to slow down by sending a special, snotty message to your head. - exactly green :)
This marvellous snot fest you have going on is a physical release, a manifestation if you like, of how you've felt for the last few weeks, it's your body starting to gradually let go of all the anxiety, stress, anger, fear, and shock that's been wound up so tightly inside you, not daring to come out, not daring to let go of even the smallest part of how you're feeling for fear of simply falling apart too soon, too fast, too hard.
You've held onto it, this fireball of emotion so hard, so tight for weeks, hiding it, suppressing it so that the girls didn't see it, feel it, or even copy it if that makes sense.
You've been holding it together subconsciously for weeks, and now? Now my darling lady, you can start to unravel the ball that's wound so tightly around your insides, you can let it go, slowly, you can start to breath deep, fresh, clear breaths. You can start to look forward as well as back but in a different way.
You can look back fondly, you can look back ready, prepared for what you're going to see, because you're stronger than ever.
Sure, you'll have days when you'll crumble and sob your heart out, but they will pass, they will be shorter, with longer gaps between because Cliff's love gave you the emotional tools to help yourself, love yourself and even like yourself. He cared so much for you that he helped you to rebuild your inner Rhino.
It's still there. Waiting to protect you, fight with you, hold you strong sweetheart. You are so amazing Trin, you really are. xx
It's brilliant that you are going to keep on top of the house work, one little bit each day, that's all it takes, you know that, you remember, (I remember so I'll be keeping my eye on you!!
) and you know you won't let anything slide..... you are proud of what you've achieved and so was Cliff, so proud of you, of what you did to change the things that weren't right, weren't as they should be.
I hope you feel better soon and that Lolly Pup wins Best Bonkers Dog Award!
She'll be back before you know it lovely. Now, as everyone has said, make sure you keep dosed up and REST as much as you can. Your body is exhausted too..... not just your mind.
How are the girls holding up today? Are you family free or do you have Cliff's family there with you?
Sending you all the love we have here in the sunny Mouse house xxx
