On top of the fridge?

Mouseface · 01/06/2013 15:05

Afternoon lovely. :)

That sounds like an excellent plan. Your body needs to recuperate from all the stress and it is telling you to slow down by sending a special, snotty message to your head. - exactly green :)

This marvellous snot fest you have going on is a physical release, a manifestation if you like, of how you've felt for the last few weeks, it's your body starting to gradually let go of all the anxiety, stress, anger, fear, and shock that's been wound up so tightly inside you, not daring to come out, not daring to let go of even the smallest part of how you're feeling for fear of simply falling apart too soon, too fast, too hard.

You've held onto it, this fireball of emotion so hard, so tight for weeks, hiding it, suppressing it so that the girls didn't see it, feel it, or even copy it if that makes sense.

You've been holding it together subconsciously for weeks, and now? Now my darling lady, you can start to unravel the ball that's wound so tightly around your insides, you can let it go, slowly, you can start to breath deep, fresh, clear breaths. You can start to look forward as well as back but in a different way.

You can look back fondly, you can look back ready, prepared for what you're going to see, because you're stronger than ever.

Sure, you'll have days when you'll crumble and sob your heart out, but they will pass, they will be shorter, with longer gaps between because Cliff's love gave you the emotional tools to help yourself, love yourself and even like yourself. He cared so much for you that he helped you to rebuild your inner Rhino.

It's still there. Waiting to protect you, fight with you, hold you strong sweetheart. You are so amazing Trin, you really are. xx

It's brilliant that you are going to keep on top of the house work, one little bit each day, that's all it takes, you know that, you remember, (I remember so I'll be keeping my eye on you!! Grin) and you know you won't let anything slide..... you are proud of what you've achieved and so was Cliff, so proud of you, of what you did to change the things that weren't right, weren't as they should be.

I hope you feel better soon and that Lolly Pup wins Best Bonkers Dog Award! Grin

She'll be back before you know it lovely. Now, as everyone has said, make sure you keep dosed up and REST as much as you can. Your body is exhausted too..... not just your mind.

How are the girls holding up today? Are you family free or do you have Cliff's family there with you?

Sending you all the love we have here in the sunny Mouse house xxx

I've been looking for an hour
I have no recollection of where I put them when I came back last night
we were all so tired, I just wee'ed watered and fed the poor Lolly pup, tucked the little ones into bed and dd1 and I collapsed into bad and went to sleep

the tiny handbag I had with me is on my bedside table and no car keys are in it

I've checked the fridge, the cupboard I keep the dog food in, under the bed bloody everywhere
its put me in a foul mood I cant shake now

TrinityRhino · 01/06/2013 15:11

hey mouse, thanks squeaky one
we are almost family free

cdd1 has gone home
cliffs sister and her husband have gone home
his two oldest boys have gone home
his second oldest daughter is staying a couple of days to spend time with cds4 (they have done to the big town for fun and a meal today)

so its just me and the girls today
was going to nip into town to get sandals for the little ones but now I cant find the sodding keys

Could you have left them in the car? Or front door?

Hate to say it but I've found keys in the bin in the past Blush

Bathroom, by the bed, under pillow, sorry sure this is annoying but they will be somewhere.

I've aslo found things where I've already looked, maybe get the kids to look where you tell them.

magimedi · 01/06/2013 15:33

In the fridge? In cupboard where you keep the tea stuff? Coat pocket?

Hope you find them soon.

Mouseface · 01/06/2013 16:06

Bathroom?

Front/Back/Car Door?

Garden?

Fridge?

Under the sofa?

Tables?

Cupboards?

Mouseface · 01/06/2013 16:06

Mouseface · 01/06/2013 16:08

Hello lovely Trin (and friends :) )

I hope you found your keys? I was wondering if you gave them to someone so that they could get back in after being out with Lolly?

Anyway, I hope that you know this support, our support, the posts won't stop now that the funeral has happened, the posts won't stop now that you've said your last 'goodbye', the posts won't stop because you might be posting less........ we'll always be thinking of you, worrying about you if you don't post, think about the girls too.

Our support doesn't end now. It ends when you decide. You are so fab Trin, you really are :)

I hope the keys have turned up and that all is at least secure (keys wise) sweetheart.

I'm off to bed, I'll be back in the morning, late on but I'll be here to see if you found your keys!! I bet at 3am you'll wake up and go 'I KNOW WHERE THEY BLOODY ARE!!!!!!!' - get up, dash to see and there they'll be if you've not got them already.

Lots of love to you and the girls, and Lolly Pup - did she win anything?? Best clever Pup? Most lovely Pup?

Big squidges to you,

Mouse xxx

TrinityRhino · 01/06/2013 22:59

Wow, serious prize, not so daffy then, respec' Lolly! Grin

So annoying about the keys, have you been through the bin?
I have a good method, with which I once found a pearl stud earring
Obv exhaust all other avenues first - hope Mouse is right about the 3am revelation.

Sleep well sweetheart xxx

thegreylady · 02/06/2013 09:43

Hope the keys turned up Trinity.
You are an amazing lady.
When my dh died the worst time was when everyone had gone home after the funeral and the dc were asleep.
Keep going love you are in many people's thoughts.

Guerrillacrochet · 02/06/2013 10:54

Hi Trin
Hope you're okay. Have the keys turned up? Have you tried looking in the washing basket?! I absolutely hate things like that... So irritating!
Just to echo what's written above... Lots of people are still thinking about you and your girls.

TrinityRhino · 02/06/2013 11:20

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 02/06/2013 12:13

Morning lovely, hope the snot rivers have subsided, exasperating about the keys.
Not surprised you've got good, solid friends, I bet you're a great friend too Smile
All calm here today, sunny on and off. Taking DD2 out for lunch, walk along the prom to work up appetite.
Sending find-me vibes to those pesky keys!

Fairenuff · 02/06/2013 13:23

Aren't keys one of those common objects that go missing or 'move' when a loved one has passed away? I seem to remember hearing about keys being connected in some way. It's been suggested that it is a communication, either just a 'I am here' sort of sign, or as a bit of a joke.

Trin so sorry if this isn't your thing (it's not mine either) and I've been really insensitive in posting that but it did seem a bit of a coincidence.

I agree with you, stop looking for them and they will turn up.

Congrats to Lolly, what a clever pup Smile

Mouseface · 02/06/2013 13:33

Afternoon lovely Trin.

I think you're right there re the keys.... don't think about them and they'll turn up!

'cliff always moaned about me not putting them on the hook....'

That's because he knows what you're like, and I reckon that you can't find them, because he used to moan at you to do it! Grin

I meant to ask you yesterday, what breed is Lolly Pup? We have an Alaskan Malamute, he's on my profile, daft as a bush he is, huge and bonkers! We could've shown him and also bred him as he's a pedigree but we decided to just let him be :)

I'm glad you've gotten out of the house and done something 'normal', we're off out for dinner at the village pub later, then MIL is going home tomorrow, SIL is coming to pick her up, Nemo has his first delivery of nappies coming, and he has a hearing test so is off nursery as it's not worth sending him in, DD is back to school.

I'm glad the holidays are over, Nemo so needs routine. So do I! Grin He's watching Mary Poppins and I'm finishing DD's homework for her.

Love to you all, I hope the girls are okay?

TrinityRhino · 02/06/2013 13:50

Lolky is a white boxer
she is a pedigree from show lines but she was white so cant be shown in real dog shows or bred.

it was a local dog home find raising type dog show so just for fun

I wouldnt want to formally show or breed any of my dogs as they ate my other children Grin

the reason I bought her instead of rehoming as I have done before is because cliff used to have a white boxer who he lived dearly and she got run over.
the dog he had when we got together was getting to the end of her life and I wanted to get us a new dog before the old one went so he wouldn't feel like we were repkacing iyswim. he loved his dogs. he adored Lolly pup.

he lost his old girl cleo just a couple of months before he died.
