Hope it's okay to post this here!

So, which is better, or should ds do both? A few people have told me that scouts is a bit religious, not sure if this is true.

Experiences welcomed!

Thanks

Everyone I know who went to Woodcraft folk liked it, why not take a look at the organisations respective websites though?

My experience with Woodcraft having participated as a parent was fine until it very traumatically was not. Explosive tyrannical leader who had obvious and disturbing MH issues that I hope have been addressed since expelling myself and my 2 children without warning or recourse to appeal and in front of a group of cowering group parents. Nope. Woodcraft is damaging to children and their families. AVOID.

I would say, after a traumatizing time with Woodcraft Folk, the Scouts that we tried after that experience were friendly and accepting and I will never forget that. My family have been deeply negatively affected by what happened with Woodcraft Folk. :(

As this thread is from April 2012, I suspect the OP will have made her mind up by now. Hmm
