To ask how tall your 7 year olds are?

DD is 7 and in year three....one of the youngest. She is suddenly looking rather short net to the others..measured her today and she comes up at 4 feet exactly.

Is that short? Or are all the kids here giants? She's 8 in July....how tall are your 7/8 year olds please?

I KNOW I abu to ask this here but bugger it.

My DS will be 7 in June (in Year 2), he is 4 foot 2 inches, but is one of the tallest in his class, although one of the youngest.

dd is six, will be seven in June. She is 117cm, and one of the shortest in her class.

He's a year YOUNGER than DD and 2 inches bigger Overtired harrumph.

DD is 137cm and the tallest in her class. What's that in feets and inches?

I dont know but he is up to my boobs 9I am 5 ft 1 and a bit. (and no, they are not down my ankles :p)

Granddaughter already 8 is 4ft 9ins, really tall.

Dd1 Will be seven in June. She is 4foot 2 and the youngest and tallest in her class

dd is 6 (7 in Oct, year 1), and is 4 foot 2. Tallest in class (taller than most of next class too!). BUT, dh is 6 foot 5! Doesn't it all depend on parent's height?

Dd1 will be 9 in June and is only 4 foot (122 cms)! She really is teeny tiny compared to her classmates...but...she always has been. Small but perfectly formed I say to her as she is very conscious of being the smallest.

Dd2 on the other hand is 5 and 116cms (about 3ft 10?) and one of the tallest in her class.

DS is Year 2, just 7 and 132cm - Second tallest.

DS will be 6 in May and is 4ft 4. He is the tallest in his class by a good couple of inches (we are in Scotland)

No3 son was 7 last november and is about 4'9 or 10. DD is 5 foot and he's only a bit shorter than her. He is the tallest in his class though, and was 8.5 inches taller than the shortest (a girl) in the class on the day they measured. His shoes are a 2, and hers were an 11
DH's side of the family are tall though - I am hoping like mad that DD takes after her aunts and cousins because they are all willowy and I am dumpy

Dd - 8 in 2 weeks - is 128 cms. I was going to as what that was in feet, but torchpaper has pretty much told me . When I see her with her friends she seems about average. Though she is more chunky than many of them - she has always been solid vs skinny....something to watch.

DS1 was 8 late in Jan so Year 3- he is 4 foot 8 inches. He is second tallest in the year though.

DS was 7 in December and is exactly 4ft tall. He's about the middle of his class height wise.

DD is in y3 at an all girls school. When they were measured in the first term, they ranged from 120cm to 140ish cm. So that is 3ft 11 to 4ft 6 ish. According to DD, the tallest girl (late June birthday) is now 145cm tall (4ft 9)!

DD is at the lower end of that. I would say there are a lot more over 130cm than under 130cm, so DD seems quite short. I think they might be a tall bunch though. Some of them look/seem much more grown up than DD to me, but that is probably because they are not my babies!

DS is 7 he will be 8 in July. He is 1.35m or roughly 4ft5. He is the youngest in his class. He has size 3 feet already but DH is 6ft3 so I think he takes after him. There are two boys in his class taller than him both of which have September birthdays and are 8 now. DS2 however is very little and takes after me!

Gah. She's going to take after DHs side isn't she? They are ALL short. They had a big family reunion last year and I was like a giant woman amongst them. I'm only 5.6. The women all come in at about 5 feet and the men are generally as big as me or shorter!

DH is 5.8" so a bit on the short side too!

I dont know how tall dd is exactly but she towers above all her class mates and is wearing 9 or 10 year old clothes for height but is skinny as a rake, she has size 3 feet. She was only 7 last month!
