Okay, go easy on me, first baby and first appeal for feedback in this folder! We have our boys' names sorted but have been struggling with girls' names. We want a 3 syllable name as our surname is one syllable (It sounds a lot like Home).

Names I like but DH doesn't:

  • Victoria
  • Eleanor
  • Miranda

Names DH likes but I don't (no offence intended):

  • Penelope
  • Stephanie
  • Rhiannon

We both like:

Rosalind - means 'pretty rose' in Spanish or 'red dragon' in German, both work as we're expecting a little red head. Lots of lovely nicknames, Rosa, Rosie, Lindy etc
Mirabel - like Isabel which I love but not as ubiquitous
Felicity - nicknames Flick, Fee and it means happy
Jemima - nicknames Jem, Mimi
Helena - but not convinced this works as our surname begins with H

Potential middle names include Elizabeth, Zoe or Blake (a family surname).

Feedback appreciated
