When you were a child/teen what did you want to call your future children?

I know that not everyone thought about this when they were a child but if you did what names did you love then, and did you use them?

Sally or chloe

Tiffany for a girl, Blue for a boy

Derek and Evelyn i didnt use either thank God

I wanted Matthew, Summer and Daisy.

Thank god I had a boy.

Caitlin for a girl, as was a favourite book I read as a teenager. Was very well used by the time dd came along so needless to say I didn't use it, as much as I still like it

Amber and Oliver. Had an Oliver and frankly that was enough .

charlotte and matthew - I even managed to convince dh when we got together that that is what our children would be called.

Pele. Met a Hawaiian woman named Pele and she was such a beautiful person. Really strong, but gentle and thought I would name a girl Pele. Never did....

When I was a small child,

Jasmine and David (quite conservative really)

When I was a teen,

Septimus Darwin and
Julia Cordelia (was having a big Brideshead Revisited phase)

Don't like any of these now, possibly apart from Septimus (and now I have an Octavia!)

Oh have forgotten I also wanted another girl with Duran Duran's guitarist John Taylor who I was going to call Jonanne

I really wanted to have a little girl called Epiphany.....Pip. I was even more gutted because a friend of mine was actually born on 6th Jan (which is the date of Epiphany...) and her mum had called her Beth instead!!!!

Damian and Midas (I read too much Jilly Cooper in my teens).
Then had a phase of wanting a Che.
THank god I had a girl!

I wanted Pagan, Roxanne and Shyloh for girls no doubt inspired by books and films that I had enjoyed.
I didn't use any of them thank heavens.
Never really considered boys names as thought I'd have girls tbh.

i was going to call my boy zac after zac morris in saved by the bell! im now pg with a boy and he wont be a zac
