When you were a child/teen what did you want to call your future children?

I know that not everyone thought about this when they were a child but if you did what names did you love then, and did you use them?

These mostly sound pretty tame!

When I was 14, my first child - a daughter - was going to be called Jasmine Viva Thea Tamara Roxette Taurean Star!

I have since had 3 dd's (and 1 ds) and did not use one single bit of this name! All 3 girls do have unusual, distinctive names...but not quite THIS distinctive!

When I was a child I thought that Cheryl was the most glamourous name ever. In my teens I loved names like Andromeda.

I have a DD but her name is neither of these

I liked Tristan for a boy (was reading a lot of Arthurian gubbins.) I'm really glad I didn't have a baby when I was 17.

Jade and Blue...can't remember any more

Crystal, Amber, Courtney for girls.

Mark (after Mark Owen), Sam or Andrew for a boy.

My Dad had a colleague when I was a little girl called Jaya, I thought it was the most beautiful name in the world.

Come to think of it, I still think it sounds good!

I wanted a DS called Blue and a DD called Red after the characters in Fraggle Rock.

When I was pg with DD, we wouldn't tell anyone the name we had chosen.

DS spent my whole pg saying 'You're not giving the baby a colour as a name are you?' in an exasperated tone.

DD is named after a colour, but she's definitely not called Red.

Oh, and DS is not called Blue.

Think mine were whatever Charlie's Angels were called!

Sophie, Joshua, Sebastian and Megan.

None of which I plans to consider now, for any child I may have.

Never crossed my mind as a child/ teen as to what any future children woud be called - wasn't interested - far more interested in wanting a Ford Escort Mk 1

The girls were going to be Rachel and Lucretia, and the boys Silas and Bernard!

Of course I didn't use them!!!!!!!!!

Boys - Thaddeus and Morrissey
Girls - Eloise and Ariadne

I still love three out of four of these but dp was not impressed!

I loved the names Megan and Sophie since I was a kid watching "Home and Away"

Adam & Nicola.. didn't use them either

Jennifer and Tijuana - No - funnily enough I changed my mind!

Freedom.

Seth was a big one for me. Never did do it.

Chloe, Cara, Sadie, Beth.

I didn't plan on having any boys!

Janeite - I'm totally with you with Morrissey (I even tried to slip it in as a middle name for DS but DH having none of it )

I had dolls called Sandra and Pamela (early 80s...)
