Jessica Eve

OP posts:
oceryo · 11/05/2010 16:19

I like it

piscesmoon · 11/05/2010 16:21

I like Chloe but not Celeste.
Chloe Jessica.
I wouldn't have Annie Rose with Alfie-because of the books.

alfiemama · 11/05/2010 16:23

That was why I liked it piscesmoon
So does Chloe win over Jessica and Evie?

OP posts:
piscesmoon · 11/05/2010 16:36

Chloe is equal with Jessica. I like Evie but there are just so many at the moment.
I just though that with the books you, and they, might get fed up with people commenting on it.

harley85 · 11/05/2010 16:39

dont know why but really dont like the name chole.. sorry, love evie Rose.. very pretty

alfiemama · 11/05/2010 16:45

Good point piscesmoon, never thought of it from that view.
Evie Rose is very pretty Harley and we had that name for years when ds2 was born, but its so popular, yet I do love it, and having been there with Alfie's name (when we chose it, is was very unusual, and then enter Alfie moon) I know what its like when every child seems to share the name.

Harley sorry just realised I hadnt put Evie Rose, its what we wanted but brother nabbed it and has an Ava Rose, I say its too similar and he would be miffed

alfiemama · 11/05/2010 20:27

Thanks diddl and mrsSmurf, Rose is such a pretty middle name again its a shame its been used so much.

Has anyone got and ideas on middle names? I even thought could you have a name that meant Rose.

to MamaLazarou

Thanks second coming, yes we have the books, the boys read them regularly.

Thanks Hedwig, would you say too popular then.

I quite like Esme now as well, wonder if would be a bit more original than Chloe?

ninedragons · 12/05/2010 14:11

Over.

sorry, had its day.

cluckyduck · 12/05/2010 14:19

MamaLazarou - - thats really rude of you!

I have a niece called Chloe, I like it, its very pretty.

ninedragons · 12/05/2010 14:25

Really, sorry, but you want an honest opinion from a stranger with no vested interest one way or the other, ask here.

We don't know that you have a lovely little poppet of a niece called Chloe who is the very apple of everyone's eye. We're just giving our straight opinion on the name.

alfiemama · 12/05/2010 14:27

Thanks Cluckyduck, I think its pretty and didn't think it was too popular these days, maybe I am wrong though.

Nindragons, what would be a good name?

OP posts:
charley24 · 12/05/2010 14:48

Well I wasn't keen on Chloe but we let DD1 who was 4 name her baby sister and that was the name she chose.

She was born in 2004, and previously I think Chloe had been top name for a few years before that.

However, our Chloe is a Chloe (Which means little shoot), she was premature and had to fight to grow, so we always think it was the perfect name as she is out little growing shoot ! (she was 2lbs at birth).

She is the only Chloe in her class, there are a couple in the school but they are older.

Chloe has a friend named Evie, which is a gorgeous name, yes it's popular but popular for a reason, it sounds lovely IMO !
