If you could call your child anything...

... free from thoughts of what people would say, whether its fair to lumber the child with it, how the name sounds shouted across the tesco carpark etc etc, what would you choose?

I would choose:

Girls - Honeysuckle and Pandora

Boys - Wilhelm

(BTW, in real life, my shortlist is Clemency, Clementine, Matilda or Grace for a girl and decided on Felix for a boy - all of which I love of course!)

dizzydixies · 30/04/2010 21:17

bran · 30/04/2010 21:29

I don't think one can get bored of being a legend. You can stop anytime you want though if you're bored, I'll know that you agree with me even if you don't say it.

What threads am I mentioned on? (I'm to curious to pay attention to the old chestnut about evesdroppers seldom hearing good about themselves.)

largeginandtonic · 30/04/2010 21:30

Dorothy and Wolf.

I live in hope that this baby may have a shot at them. Dh depending of course.

dizzydixies · 30/04/2010 21:32

Jamieandhismagictorch · 30/04/2010 21:32

bran · 30/04/2010 21:32

Wolf is fab!

Thinking about it DS could never have been called Ralph, it's just all wrong for him. He could definitely suit Wolf though.

BeehiveBaby · 30/04/2010 21:34

Khushi or Yumi (both heard and adored at my very multicultural work but I am so boringly British).

largeginandtonic · 30/04/2010 21:34

I love Ralph too bran. I was just thinking how lovely Ralph and Celeste would be if this baby turned out to be twins.

I like Wolf. Lot's of [hmm[ faces when i mention it. Dh likes it though...

BeehiveBaby · 30/04/2010 21:34

Ooo, and Giacomo.

dizzydixies · 30/04/2010 21:41

my family have been really shit about this one too and considering the lack of help they give me they can feck off, ignore the ignorant sods

Naming is so much fun isn't it!!

largeginandtonic · 30/04/2010 21:42

You don't have that long to go do you?

What are your faves?

dizzydixies · 30/04/2010 21:42

am only 14wks with DC4 (complete surprise) so yes, a wee while yet!! only one, not twins at which DH gave a visible sigh or relief

ooma · 30/04/2010 21:43

The names I wanted for my three daughters ended up being their middle names

Celeste, Gabrielle and Eloise

largeginandtonic · 30/04/2010 21:44

14 weeks! We are not that far apart. My dc 4 was the sweetest, easiest little boy imaginable. He slotted right in and was just so good. I couldn't believe my luck

zippy539 · 30/04/2010 21:47

Brilliant question.

Cosmo and Chico for boys. Not mad keen on Chico but it was the nick name for ds before he was born and it sort of grew on me.

Only have boys names for this question as called dd her name irregardless of all the issues (including the fact that it doesn't really go with our surname )
