I know you will think my DC names are Chav, here they are not, so here in my little bubble they are fine. I love them so dont mind. Could you help me find a name to go with the for the maybe number 3?

DS Kaden
DD Jacey

One of the things i like is the way they look together, I wouldnt choose a name based on this but if i fell for a name that achieved this i would be happy!

I agree with shine, darcey for a girl.

MaggieNilAonSneachta · 17/01/2010 19:57

Bryce... urrr. change ONE letter and it would be pinch-me so cool it hurts Bruce

Some harsh interpretations of chav here. Liam? Liam means William fgs! The name of your Prince.

Mummyto3plusbump · 17/01/2010 20:06

Riley
Tyler (my DS name)
Macey
Cody
Harley
Harvey

belgo · 17/01/2010 20:11

Flight let's call these names modern. Having said that, some of these names such as Morgan and Harley, are very old.

But chavvy is just awful!

Adair · 17/01/2010 20:17

Ooh my boy has 'chavvy' names I think
Skyler/Sky
Harvey (actually named after his ancestor William Harvey, yes,he of blood-letting fame )

Agree, 'chavvy' is just snobbery and prejudice (but since you asked ).

LynetteScavo · 17/01/2010 20:24

I think these names are generally quite American.

southeastastra · 17/01/2010 20:32

they are, hardly suprising american names took off since we're bombarded with american films all the time

Abubu · 17/01/2010 22:29

Sigh...

mathanxiety · 18/01/2010 05:00

It's the mothership of c-ness.

nickelbabe · 18/01/2010 10:03

can i clarify to all people who questioned Bethany?
it's abeautiful name, but you have to imagine it shouted across asda thus: "Befff-ann- ayyyy"

does that now qualify?

hattee · 18/01/2010 10:23

I agree with the harsh interpretations of chav here. Bethany, Liam, Noah, Cameron and Callum for example. I am not a chav, honestly!

Though if the OP likes names generally considered chavvy by MN, she has plenty to pick from this thread!

gagamama · 18/01/2010 10:34

Not sure if it's chavvy, but Cain popped into my head when I read your other names.

GetOrfMoiLand · 18/01/2010 10:37

Why not just say 'names that the uneducated working classes will use'.

Lol at Krayola.

BabyDubsEverywhere · 18/01/2010 11:07

Dh Veto Kane as we call DS Kade and its too alike

Adair · 18/01/2010 15:47

Nickelbabe, doesn't that apply to all names?

-Stop kickin' 'im, POR-sha!
-Oi ARA-BELLAR, get off the ROAD
-TARRRRRRQWEN, get 'ere NOW.

OP I admire your GSOH about the ridiculous judging that goes on on here - hope you have some inspiration

DrivenToDistraction · 18/01/2010 15:50

I don't know if it falls into the required category and it isn't actually a name, but, I've always thought Izal would be a great boys name...

luckymummy2010 · 18/01/2010 18:23

Err isn't Izal mediacted toilet paper?

FimBOW · 18/01/2010 18:53

Tiffany shortened to Tiff

Tallulah

DrivenToDistraction · 18/01/2010 19:04

Yes, but if it wasn't it'd be an excellent name. Ney, a fabulous name.

Well, I think so anyway.

displayuntilbestbefore · 18/01/2010 19:10
