I know you will think my DC names are Chav, here they are not, so here in my little bubble they are fine. I love them so dont mind. Could you help me find a name to go with the for the maybe number 3?

DS Kaden
DD Jacey

One of the things i like is the way they look together, I wouldnt choose a name based on this but if i fell for a name that achieved this i would be happy!

Bethany chav???

It's a village from the New Testament, a v popular Christian name (and I have one)

sweetkitty · 17/01/2010 09:19

Getting back to OP trying to think of names round here

Chelsea-Lee
Brooke
Jai
Tyler
Morgan
Tia
Chantelle
Riley
Logan
Lennox

There's a big thing here of using surnames as boys first names, I think it's a Scottish thing in general using the mothers maiden name as the son's first name so think, Taylor, Blair, Carrick, Grant, Harrison, Finlay, Cameron, Angus etc

It's my friends wee boys name and really suits him. As it's an old Scottish tradition of using surnames as first names it's therefore not chavvy

I found out yesterday DB4 is a boy and haven't a clue about boys name so am trawling the baby names threads for inspiration.

BabyDubsEverywhere · 17/01/2010 09:30

quite like Blaine, Blaine and Blake going on the list.

Sweetkitty, Im not a 'chav' just seem to lean towards their names lol, thanks

Sorry never usually get involved in these threads as it will normally piss someone off (usually me) but BabyDubsEverywhere - what on earth do you mean by "I'm not a 'chav' just seem to lean towards their names lol, thanks"

WTF does that mean? There may be some names in threads like these that parents choose because they like - not because they have any 'chav' connotations anyway - and that all depends on what you perceive a 'chav' to be in the first place.

LittleMissWorryHead · 17/01/2010 12:12

Paperclipcollector I assumed the op meant: I am not a chav, but I like these names that some of you might consider to be chav.

I might be wrong, but I doubt that she is choosing them because they might be considered "chav". Just that she likes them?!
