I know you will think my DC names are Chav, here they are not, so here in my little bubble they are fine. I love them so dont mind. Could you help me find a name to go with the for the maybe number 3?

DS Kaden
DD Jacey

One of the things i like is the way they look together, I wouldnt choose a name based on this but if i fell for a name that achieved this i would be happy!

Turn on Eastenders - pretty much every name on the show is "chavvy"

MILismad · 17/01/2010 12:52

what about spencer or mason

MegSophandEmma · 17/01/2010 12:57

Megan is not Chav!!!!

AnnieBeansMum · 17/01/2010 13:01

LOL! I suggest Megan, Sophie and Emma

I'm kidding really, they are 3 of my favourite names.

Paperclipcollector
exactly like little miss and stayfrosty said. I dont like chav names. I seem to like the names mumsnetters call chav in other threads. so i was outing myself as liking these very popular chavish (as declared by mumsnett) and asking for some suggestions.

Sorry to cause offence, none intended and yes i have an Ace list to attack hubby with....hmmm....Ace? thats on the list!

I love the name Harley for a boy, it's actually quite an old english name.

BabyDubsEverywhere · 17/01/2010 16:06

Harley would be good but we got that on a future puppy name list lol

Culkerton Ashley (small town in the Cotswolds, but crying out to be a name, surely?!!)

Chudleigh (village in Devon - ditto)

On the subject of Bethany, the Spanish version is "Belen", which sounds very pretty when pronounced in the Spanish way (and a very popular girl's name in Spain). We almost opted for that for our daughter, then realised what it would probably get mangled into in a British playground...(!)

violethill · 17/01/2010 16:43

Loren
Devon

(as you like 5 letters!)

Flightattendant · 17/01/2010 16:45

Really confused by this.

See calling these names 'chav' is obviously looked down on, fair enough but what are we supposed to call them?

They are exactly those same predictable names I'd have once called 'chavvy' before I learnt not to say it...but surely if they fit into a category all by themselves, they deserve some sort of categorization?

I need a name to call these names.
I'm sorry I can't offer any suggestions, really not my cup of tea at all but hope you find something you like.

Flightattendant · 17/01/2010 16:46

unless OP is just a sociology student

BabyDubsEverywhere · 17/01/2010 17:37

hehe, just a mom, was an accountant though in my life before children lol. Loren is a good one, that would work really well, thanks

I'd like to thank BabyDubs for the opportunity to suggest such all those unmentionable names -- very liberating .

Flightattendant · 17/01/2010 18:10

I have had to avert my eyes!!!

is there not some kind of handbook we could refer her to?

Flightattendant · 17/01/2010 18:11

But I was secretly hoping for twins so there could be Kacey, Jaden, Kaden and Jacey.

that would be a bit exciting.

TotallyAndUtterlyPaninied · 17/01/2010 18:28

Lucas... I love Lucas and Luca but didn't get to use them as I'm having a girl. I too have a Kaeden and I'm a teacher, not a chav. Wish Britney hadn't had a sodding 'Jayden' and made anything that rhymes 'chavvy'.

mathanxiety · 17/01/2010 18:42

I think Kaydence would be a great way to combine the sounds and general direction of the names.

InmaculadaConcepcion · 17/01/2010 18:44

Embrace your inner chav with pride, People (despite non-pc worries)!

Why should celebrities have all the fun with their kids' names?!!

mathanxiety · 17/01/2010 18:54

It really is fun, isn't it?
