Would love to know whay "type" of names people give their dcs - i.e. if people stick to the same thrend or style of name for their DC so they flow well together or if it doesnt really make a difference at all.

I'm due number 2 in January and am almost decided on a name, but have found myself coming to decision by trying all names with dds. Just wondering what others do...

Would love to steal hear some...

Hayden & Rhys are both Welsh but it wasnt intentional..we also wanted Megan for a girl (Welsh again!!)

My DD is Meda Margery Susan.

I am really impressed with the variety of lovely names! I had expected lots of Jacks, Graces and other top 10 names but it seems that we mumsnetters are quite 'adventerous'! .

Met a woman at baby massage who called her son Otis. Asked her if it was her or her DH who liked the music and it turned out it was the make of the lift that went up to the maternity ward in our local hospital!
